And, looked like they had a large room for private parties from where I was sitting. The hostess was quick to seat us, and the server came over immediately to greet us taking our drink order. I shared cajun fries were great but didn't like wings, so she charged half price for wings. We all ordered #1 Crab legs w/shrimp combo. The flavor was all spices together, medium. Great choice! We got our monies worth, and then some. Unlike Red Claws who unreasonably charges breaking legs off of the cluster attempting to make customers think they weigh as a 1/2 pound. Everyone helped each other, another waiter brought my request for garlic butter, which was butter with a garlic clove in it... lol! That was funny! It wasn't even sweet butter. But, that was minor. I've come here since I moved to Texas in 2016. I've always been satisfied with their service and their food. Unfortunately they've recently been comfortable serving subpar food these days. Today I ordered 1 lb of the snow crab (as usual) and lemon pepper wings. When the crab arrived at my table, I was immediately disappointed. Not only was the portion extremely ridiculous, the taste was completely off. It tasted DIRTY! and more salty than acceptable. I tried it (considering I ordered it and it's only fair), but I couldn't eat it. My body kept sending me signals to stop eating it, especially after I saw multiple kanibiru (a parasite that attaches to the shells) on some of the crab legs. This is a definite sign of poor quality meat and a possible indicator of disease. When the server asked how it was, I was completely honest (polite of course) but I believe feedback is vital in the service industry. She recommended I speak to the manager and he kept saying he was "sorry about it" but then only offered to take off 10%. Really.... Wtf is comping $2.80 going to do!? After being insulted basically (because come on... 10% is insulting) it made me realize the management at this business values money more than their customers. Went to this location with some friends I ordered the shrimp basket and my friends ordered the garlic crab with shrimp. I wasn't too impressed with the food, as I wanted the crab but was disappointed when I wasn't allowed to substitute the corn or potatoes that come with it so I settled for the shrimp basket. That was Not cool, as I am allergic to corn. You guys should really allow customers to substitute. The waitress on the other hand was not enthusiastic about her job at all. We decided to order the 1 lb of Snow Crab, 1/2 lb sausage which came with 2 corns and 3 potatoes along with 1 lb of crawfish and 1 lb of shrimp. The House Special seasoning with medium spiciness wasn't too spicy, even for someone who can't handle spiciness well! I liked that the sauce wasn't as oily as the other restaurants that I've been to. The total for 2 people came out to be $52 which really isn't bad at all especially for a seafood restaurant. I was familiar with this place but skeptical. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I use to come here when it was Saigon nights. The new decor of boiling king crab is beautiful! I love every detail. We ordered half a dozen of Oysters, the Cajun fries, 3 lbs of the house hawt crawfish (frozen) and the gumbo. The food was great! Even though the crawfish was frozen (not in season until January) the sauce masked that frozen taste and it was delicious. Our server Dillon was very attentive and friendly. I come here at least once a week. I get the Dungeness Crab and Green Mussels. It's so good and they give you a bib and gloves Incase things get a little messy. Happy Hour is 4 to 8. I haven't been for Happy Hour yet but I plan on it one of these days. I'm so glad I found this place. I'm from the eastcoast so I'm used to the taste of fresh seafood. This place is the closest I've found here in the area to compare to the taste of seafood from back home. Amazing taste! We walked in Christmas Day not sure what to expect. We got king crab legs and a pound of shrimp with the house special sauce. It comes with 2 potatoes, 2 half ears of corn and I think a beer. We passed on the beer so not sure about that. Oh and it also comes with bibs and gloves which you will totally need! So your food arrives in a bag with all of it swimming in the delicious, drinkable, buttery sauce. The sauce is very flavorful. It's all so protein and butter rich that it makes for a super filling meal. My husband and I weren't able to finish all of it and ended up taking most of it home.
