We came here for birthday celebration and a Christmas party. The entertainment was great but the food was ok. The way it works is you choose the food (on a stick) you want and you grill it yourself. The chicken on the stick was a little salty for my taste. They had other things on the menu but it was pricey for the amount of food you get. Like a bowl of Aroz Caldo was $14.99 and it was mostly soup. Hardly any rice or meat. FYI they do not serve alcohol. The service was great! The staff were friendly and also entertaining. I've been going to Toto's Grill ever since we discovered years back then. My friends from Reno always raving about this place. It's always a must to visit here everytime we visit here in San Francisco. I always think about the isaw and barbeque. Now I'm living in San Francisco, my friend and I was craving for street food especially the isaw. I haven't been this place after 2023. Imagine the excitement that I have because I can clearly remember the taste of the barbeque. We googled the place, it says Toto's Grill was permanently closed, and we were in the loophole when whe found out there was a new rebranding name. It looks like promising, we love to promote local areas in town. I would usually rave it to my Filipino Friends in Reno, Nevada. Here is my honest review: Pros: The place is clean and well organized. Food was well presented, they have a lot of options to choose from. Lots of parking space. Tables are clean and the condiments are well stock. I can say the isaw hits the spot and the melon is really good. Cons: Where do I start? First time I tried Filipino barbeque that id extremely salty, I don't what seasoning you put. I couldn't salvage even if I had rice. The barbeque I ate is too thick, just hard to chew on. The rice was hard, I mean it's close to being tutong. It looks like it's been sitting there for a long time. I was enticed to grab a siomai just to try, but when I get to the counter the guy told me it was minimum of 6. I only grab 3 because that's all I can finish. First of all, you should put a sign that it has a minimun of 6. and you should given an option at least 3 to pick the siomai. When I was heating my sticks in the grill, most of the sticks are burning already maybe because the stick is too thin or griller is too sticky. I have pull out mine because of sticks are burnt out. Imagine my orders are 3 isaw, 1 bbq, 2 kwek kwek's, 1 pigs intestine, 6 pieces of siomai, 1 rice and 1 melon juice. The grand total of 47 dollars. I get it that the prices are all going up. But I did gasped really hard, and the restaurant is asking me a tip starting 18%. which is I grabbed my skewers cooked it and bussed my table. If you asked, I'm highly dissapointed with what I have experienced in the new management. So If you are wondering, I would not highly recommend this to my Reno Friends and would share my experiences as well. Sorry not sorry at this point. Nothing to rave about this place, I'm still dissapointed with what I paid for my food.. The pricing is not clear, and grill is dirty as well. Try your seasonings it's too salty for the barbeque.. Ang alat talaga. Goodluck, but I'm not returning and not recommending this place to anyone. read more

I've been here since it was the original Toto's grill, until it changed ownership at least 4 times now. Even then I come here and especially when I'm craving Filipino BBq. The food was a downgrade to the previous owners. The marinates they used on the meats are too salty. They all tasted the same which is just salty. The sauces were good but it can't save the salty BBQ's . The pork isaw was cooked and sliced weird. It doesn't taste like Filipino BBQ. This was the worst BBq with all the ownership changes. The place was clean and organized . The pork BBq was $3.50each and the pork isaw and pork ears were $3 . It was a very disappointing meal. I hope they changed their marinate recipe and I'll be back. We decided to come here last night ,for the first time, since it changed managerment/owner. We had high hopes since we used to come a lot to this place when it was still Toto's Grill. We came at around 7pm and there where only two groups dining in. Maybe people will start coming in late since this place now have a comedy bar at night. Toto's Grill used to have ONE same price for all the bbq sticks. I understand that prices has since gone up, BUT, the prices were not posted anywhere in the restaurant. I thought there's a law that prices should be visible to the customers? It should not be a surprise to anyone what they will be paying by the time they get to the register to pay. That's what happened to us. And they guy at the register automatically assumed that I didn't want my receipt. so when I asked for it, he just reprinted me the credit card part with the total and not the itemized one. and I was trying to figure out how come our total came up high, so I had to ask if the bbqs still have one same price, and that's when he said that they're not. Imagine when it's busy and, of course, people won't have time to ask how much each different bbq sticks are. The guy also didn't mention anything about the 3% credit card fee and it's nowhere posted by the register. The food has changed too. There's nothing to be raving about them. The pork intestines were bigger but the texture is fattier and softer. No matter how long you cook it, it's like eating 100% fat. There's no chew or texture on it. The chicken intestines were too small and thin, so when you cook it, nothing much is left in the stick to eat because it got thinner. I think the only thing I liked here was the pork ears. Will I come back? Maybe no. For the price they are charging now, which is still a mystery to me, and the quality of food, I don't think it is worth it. read more

Food quality was so-so, everything tastes sour. My hunch was they use vinegar to marinate everything to preserve it longer. The only thing I enjoyed was the Tender Juicy Hotdog. The rest is not the street food level i expected it to be. Also, they offered us siomai, so i said ok let me try, and the siomai was cold, they offered it while the steaming process isn't done yet i think. Not coming back there i guess. read more

Food was very pricey and not worth it. 15 sticks and 3 drinks was already $100+, which is outrageous for pinoy street food.

I miss when this place was quiet and actually had good and authentic filipino street food. It was so loud in there with the people singing, they're not even singing just screaming. It's so loud to the point you can't even enjoy anything. Paid $90 for 15 sticks and a melon juice, it has never been this expensive before and it wasn't even good.
