Have been coming to this restaurant since 1982 when I started working in the Silicon Valley. It was run by the current owner's aunt. It was the only decent Cantonese restaurant in the South Bay at the time. It's always nostalgic to come back and dine here. My all time favorite is their Crab Meat West Lake Beef Soup, it's always consistently delicious. Also like their Seafood with Fried Eggs which no other restaurant serves. The two of us shared these plus a Beef with Chinese Broccoli. Everything tasted good as usual and felt very comfortable in my stomach! Service was good and friendly as the owner knew and recognized us. The ambiance is very basic and comfortable, nothing fancy. Prices have gone up and are not cheap any more, but are still reasonable. This Restaurant will always have a place in my heart.

A true gem in downtown Sunnyvale. We've past this place so many times while going to Crafthouse or Daily Donuts. We lucked out as it was one of the only restaurants in the area that was open on Christmas Day or didn't have an hour or longer wait. We ordered and food was ready within 30-45 minutes. The staff member who took my phone order was SUPER sweet and friendly. Made the experience that much more pleasant. We did a to-go order. Everything was delicious. Food was flavorful and wasn't oily. Ingredients seemed fresh. Prices were decent. Definitely way cheaper than Tao Tao. We'll have to come back for their lunch menu.

Walnut Prawns, Salt & Pepper Pork, Mongolian Beef, Beef w Chinese Broccoli & Sesame Chicken

We decided on take out again. We got 5 dishes for 5 of us. Walnut prawns are delish, pork chop with pepper & salt had too much breading for us. The Mongolian beef did have spice to it and green bell peppers, onion and celery. That's a dish we may order again. The beef with Chinese broccoli (gai lan) was good. Chinese broccoli tastes a little bitter compared to bok choy, so we are divided on which we preferred. Sesame chicken had a bit too much breading too. There are still more items on the menu we want to try here.

Wonton Soup sounds very good right about now.

We've visited this restaurant multiple times. When I'm craving Chinese food, it's my go-to place, except on Sundays because there closed. The staff and manager name Jason incredibly friendly and his wife also is friendly. prompt with everything they're focused on getting down to business and serving you quickly. The place was clean, the service was swift, and the food was good. The Mongolian beef was flavorful and delicious. The lemon chicken had a great taste. The chow mein combo we ordered assumed it was beef, shrimp, and chicken.

I've been coming here for years! Very good and fresh food every time. I always order they combination chow fun (the saucy one) which is my favorite. I've had their dry chow fun which is also really good but I prefer the saucy one. You can't go wrong with their walnut prawns and any of their side dishes are excellent! It's fast, good service when dining in. Their prices are reasonable as well!

Great, local, family owned business with quaint dining area. Old school Cantonese food that is getting more and more difficult to find in South Bay. Any of the Hong Kong style Chow Meins are great. Eggplant and pork is a fave as well as West Lake Soup. Hard to go wrong on ordering. Service good and friendly.

I love this Chinese restaurant! I came here with my family for dinner last week and we had a great time. I loved each dish that we ordered from their tasty honey walnut shrimp, crisp beef and veggie dish, perfectly made fried rice and chow mein, and hot wonton soup. The food is served at a quick time but still cooked perfectly. Each dish was seasoned well and had no issues. The service here is quick and straight to the point. This is a family style restaurant where you sit in a round table with a lazy Susan on top. The price point is decent too and isn't too expensive. This place is so good, I'd even have food catered from here. I will definitely be back for more!

You place your order through a QR code, which makes the process quick and easy. This visit, we ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, Tidu Sliced Beef Pot, and Tianjin Eggplant. The wings are a must-order here. They're always perfectly fried and crispy on the outside while still staying juicy and tender inside. The Tidu Sliced Beef Pot reminded me of a dry hot pot. It had a great mala flavor with a subtle numbing sensation, and the peanuts added a nice crunch and texture to the dish. The Tianjin Eggplant was simple but delicious, with flavorful pork that paired really well with the soft eggplant. Overall, the food here is comforting and satisfying. It's a place I'll definitely keep coming back to.

It's in a busy complex, but there was enough parking. When I walked in, I noticed they had a half-empty dining room but a ton of to-go orders wrapped up, including mine. I really loved the Mongolian beef, and the eggplant dish we got was good too. The chow mein was good. I did like the cucumber salad, but it would be better if it were sliced smaller, so the marinade could infuse the cucumbers. Service was friendly. Food was very fresh. I did notice the portion sizes were generous and we had plenty of leftovers!

What we ordered: House Special Chili Crab 1/2 Roasted Duck Beef Ribs with Black Pepper Sauce Stir-Fried Chinese Tender Greens Overall, the food was okay. Nothing was particularly bad, but nothing really stood out either. The portions were generous, and we had more than enough food for 4 adults. My favorite dish was the beef ribs. The meat was tender, and the black pepper sauce was flavorful. The roasted duck was okay, my mom liked the dipping sauce. The chili crab was the most expensive dish since it's charged at market price, but the seasoning was well balanced and not too spicy. I just forgot how much work it is to crack the shell and get all the meat out, but that's on us for ordering crab! They also surprised us with a complimentary dessert at the end, which was nice and very much appreciated. Overall, a solid spot if you're looking for family-style Cantonese seafood with generous portions. Appreciate it!

We sat in a private room and someone was attentive and got us our orders at a rapid speed. We did have someone in our party who spoke fluent Cantonese which helped a lot. My last two times here was for dim sum takeout orders, and I honestly do not recommend ordering takeout. Both times were mediocre. The most recent time, we ordered 5 standard dim sum items on our phone while we were outside the restaurant. We ended up waiting at least 40 minutes for our food to be ready. When we asked for an update around the 30 minute mark, the lady at the counter was so unhelpful. Just said it's not ready without actually checking and then she turned away and ignored me. When we finally got our food, we ate it within 10 minutes, and the food was already lukewarm/almost cold. It was not worth the wait. Note ordering online has a $1 convenience fee. You wait for your takeout bag to be available on the long table inside, and then you take it to the nearby counter and pay there. Utensils and napkins are not automatically included in your bag. If we decide to come back, it would only be for dine in service. Never again for take out.
