Been either dining in or ordering take out ever since they opened the Rego Park location. Service is always friendly and amazing either dine in or take out. Take out is super easy. Order on line and you can even accumulate points for a future discount. They also deliver for free and its pricing is better than the online ordering services. We ordered 1lb each of the shrimp with head, snow crab legs and craw fish. We love the oceanic sauce but also ordered on garlic butter with old baby cause the little one loves it. You can also pick the level of spiciness. Only drawback is, seems like there's less sauce and the sauce is very watery compared to before and my kids love dipping the seafood back in the sauce and coating their rice in the sauce. We love the mango pina colada with a kick and the virgin option is always a treat for the 21 and under. They even sent an extra drink today since they made an extra by accident. Thank you!!!

But overall I would order it again.

The octopus stew is the most buttery and tender octopus you'll ever have and who can not forget their kabob selections whether you do the chicken or lamb! Stick with the mix grill plate for both though so you get to try a selection of them all. End the night with some hot Turkish black tea or string Turkish coffee with a sweet piece of baklavah or a digestive night cap of Raki mixed with a little water and you are good to go! Although, next time I'd probably skip the Craken taco and verde aguachile even though these two are a top recommendation. My favorite dish was probably the grilled shrimp. The way they grill it really brings out the sweetness and flavor of the shrimp. I personally enjoyed the la exotica more than the aguachile. The guac was also really good and the fried octopus was a good addition. I will definitely go to their other locations. This is a must try for seafood lovers.

The flavor of this dish was quite sweet, with warm spices and the richness of soy sauce. I loved the texture of the wheat gluten, it's meaty and chewy and pairs well with the accompanying shiitake mushrooms. The lion's head meatballs were extremely tender and soft, coated in a sweet and savory glaze and served with steamed bok choy. The Shanghainese flavor profile is sweeter and less oily than other Chinese food, and I found my dishes to be rich without being overly fatty or heavy. The service here is extremely friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I will likely return soon.

However, something has happened to the rice. Let me first correct a few things from my previous review. The front awning does have the name of the restaurant on it. Jose Fish Market is not brightly painted or printed on the awning. Second, they have flounder instead of trout. The flounder is still a generous piece of fish for $11 for the platter with rice and peas. This time the rice and peas were not edible in my opinion. I do not know what happened, but something was very very off about the rice. I would rather have the fish alone and would be hesitant to have the rice ever again here. The chicken wings at $10 for four and fries is still a great value and the wings were crispy and great with the hot sauce, even the fries were good with hot sauce.

We were all disappointed with the quality of the meat. I'll still go to Fogo but I'll not be coming back to this location for sure.
