It's hard to find a good Chinese restaurant that does every standard dish correctly - sometimes a restaurant will have great vegetable lo mein, but lousy chicken with broccoli, or great beef in garlic sauce, but crappy General Tso. That experience will always make you question if you want to order from there, based on your particular taste or inkling that night. Not this place: every dish we've tried so far is done right. My only gripe is that it never takes less than 25 minutes for a takeout to be ready. Longest wait was 45 minutes with no apology either. Even the sit down meal had a significant wait time, so maybe it's the lack of staff or efficiency, or maybe good food could just take that long to make. Bottom line is that you'll like the food, but just prepare to wait for it. * Just like a few other places that I had to update an old review, we ended up going elsewhere because the food quality started to get so inconsistent with each time we ordered to go, it turned into a gamble. More than once, the chicken and broccoli was so gummy, the whole thing had to be thrown out. Some days, they'd get the spices and flavors just right, and other days it felt like a whole new kitchen took over. The food is great. The free if you spend over $25 dish is always great. They deliver to my place although I'm out of their listed range and their dumplings are fantastic. It's my goto. If your wife dislikes Chinese but loves Sushi, pick it up, there's a sushi place a few doors down. Ask for the house mustard! read more

Love the food but hate the dining experience. On a weekday night the wait for soup should not be 15 mins unless they are cooking wonton soup made to order. It took another 15 mins for two dishes. When we placed our order we were the only people seated. It seems the staff is focused on being prompt with take out patrons but asleep with those who are seated in the dining room. The food quality here is good. Unfortunately the WORST service I have ever experienced. I walked in and all the tables were empty except the one in which the owners 5 and 7 year old kids we're sitting there sneezing and coughing up a storm. The waitress wanted me to sit on the left side of the restaurant and was very angry I wanted a bigger table on the right side. She gave me dirty looks and was not very nice "she said only 1...huh". I ordered Sesame Shrimp with NO SCALLIONS and MEDIUM on the sauce. Of course there was a swarm of scallions and very little sauce. When I politely asked her for a "little more sauce" she grew into this nasty tirade and said "you said little sauce. Now it's a $1.25 extra". I'm like "you are rude. I'll pay for it but you can stick it up your backside". I will be reporting this establishment to the Manalapan Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. It is against the law to charge more than what's listed on the menu. Better off eating at WONGS, KINGS, HUNAN OR CROWN PALACE. read more

Was at my family's house this past weekend and we decided to Call for delivery to place a large order. My first and last time. I had a hard understanding the woman on the phone. She noticeably got more irritated each time I asked her to repeat herself. At the end she was full on screaming at me at the top of her lungs. I wish I could of cursed her out and hung up but I couldn't since everyone was around me and was waiting to eat. And she quoted me 40 minutes and everyone else around us was much longer time. So I killed it with kindness. And said I'm sorry that I'm having a hard time understanding you please forgive me. So she calmed down. I paid with a cc and she added tip over the phone? Weird but ok. The 40 minutes she quoted me? Out the window, over an hour. Like everyone else had quoted me:/ they deliver the food, no signature required for the cc?! And then one of the orders were wrong. Called back and we had to fight to get it replaced. Took another 30-40 minutes. Safe to say we won't be ordering from there again. read more

For a local place it''s not bad at all. The eggplant in garlic sauce was really good. I thought the place was just ok.

Been coming here for years! I usually eat in about 1-2 times and take out 4-8 times per month from here. Always a good experience either way. The dining room has fast pleasant service though the lunch special potions have seen to have gotten a little smaller though the price has not gone up much over the years to compensate. Been ordering from them for years due to closeness in location and their reasonable lunch specials. Food is decent, I've had better but probably my favorite around in Manalapan. Food is always hot. I've never had a sitdown meal there, but the many times I've had takeout, it's always been amazing. The boneless spareribs are made wonderfully. I have never had anything there I didn't like. Chinese food is hit or miss, and this place has been a consistent hit. read more

Stay away from this place. I just ordered a lunch item, chicken and broccoli, there was exactly three small pieces of chicken in the whole order and not even a decent amount of broccoli. Also the egg rolls get smaller each time I order them, and these were sopping wet in oil. The food used to be decent here but they are going downhill fast. Save your money and go elsewhere. Tried this place again for take out. Pepper steak with onions was more like onions with a little pepper steak. I found this to be true with most of their take out meals. Way too many vegetables and not enough chicken or beef. read more
