Came to Soh Grill House because we wanted quality Korean BBQ but didn't want to go all the way to Koreatown. Not gonna lie, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of the food here. Ordered the Prime Flower Boneless Short Rib, Prime Rib Eye, Prime Seasoned Boneless Short Rib, and Prime Galbi. All the meats were pure quality! I definitely shade more towards marinated meats than unmarinated meats, but all of them were fantastic. Service here is really good as well. They're all really friendly here. As expected with a non-AYCE KBBQ place, they do cook all your meats. I will also note that this is one of the nicest KBBQ restaurants I've been to from a layout perspective. Unlike most KBBQ restaurants which seem very crammed, the tables are really spaced out and the ventilation is top notch. Felt very comfortable in here. Although Soh doesn't compare to the absolute best KBBQ restaurants in Koreatown, I would definitely take it over some of Koreatown spots for sure. Definitely worth a visit. read more

Went here on a Sunday afternoon, no wait and we were seating promptly. This restaurant is so clean! Opted for the Lucky Split for two people. Ordering outside the butchers choice deals seemed a little pricey. The waiters were kind and kept checking in on us. They also cook the meat for you. We had the bulgogi and pork belly which were cooked perfectly and the combo even came with alllll the best banchan, tofu soup, and even two beers. Um yes please. I came on a weeknight and the restaurant was packed so I had very high hopes. Unfortunately, I was severely underwhelmed by the food and the service. I ordered the brisket, short rib, and pork belly a la carte. All of the meat was extremely dry. The prices they charge are extremely premium but the quality was not. The servers who cooked the meat were kind but there were only 2 servers for the whole restaurant. I had to literally shout to get their attention. They also charge for additional refills on the banchan after the first refill (which weren't that good anyway). I'm really shocked at all the 5 star reviews because I truly found the meat quality to be so underwhelming and exceptionally dry and chewy. I come here often enough and it's always a pleasant experience so when we were thinking of a spot for my mom's birthday I thought this would be a great option. Ample and spacious. A little loud but to be expected. The service is incredible. Everyone is nice, patient, and efficient. Today Paul really went above and beyond and was so patient making sure our family had a pleasant experience.
