I was really excited to eat here after seeing all my friends post about it for so long I finally got to try it. I wasn't very impressed. I got the Kalbi Jeem Benedict. It is not worth 21 dollars. For the Koreans, do not expect Kalbi Jeem the way you might imagine it from a restaurant. Yes it is Kalbi Jeem, but not marinated very well and just average quality. Kimchi Fried Rice taste like regular fried rice with no kimchi. You can tell that they use the meat ends and leftover cuts of meat and put it all together to make the fried rice. I think this is Korean owned so I expected it to be more Korean/Asian flavors but it is a very American style of food. I know a lot of people enjoy this restaurant so you should still try it for yourself but for me I felt like I was eating dessert for a lunch The benedict and fried rice tasted like it was drowned in sugar or Korean "Yut" sauce. It was SO SWEET! I didn't enjoy that taste at all. But if you like that style then you should def try this restaurant. It wasn't for me and I'm sad because there were a lot of dishes I wanted to try but my stomach can't handle the sweet sugar marinatation. Amazing brunch. Can't stop thinking about that breakfast burrito with the tender beef and crispy shredded hash brown. This is my new favorite brunch spot!! The fluffy Japanese style soufflé pancakes with the mango/strawberry syrup was tasty. The avocado toast was a savory delight!! I like the picked cucumber banchan sprinkled on top and the nori. My cousin and I went to this cafe on a Sunday around 10:30am. It was extremely busy and did not seem to be staffed appropriately to accommodate the volume of people ordering. We were lucky to find a seat. As another reviewer mentioned, the girl working up front was not very friendly. Overall it seemed very disorganized with only one or two staff bringing food to tables. There were also numerous parties waiting around for seats and a lot of people waiting at the coffee bar for orders that had not come out yet. Due to the number of people waiting, I saw a staff member walking up to a table and asking the guests if they were finished eating so someone else can sit but they still looked to be working on their food. As for the food, I ordered the smoked brisket breakfast burrito and my cousin ordered the breakfast sando. The burrito was listed on their menu as $16 but I was charged $18. Nowhere on their paper menus or digital menu up front does it say the breakfast burrito is $18. While I understand the price of eggs had drastically increased, this restaurant should ensure their prices are up to date to ensure transparency with their customers. The breakfast burrito was served with pico de gallo, but it is listed on the menu to be served with pickled onions which were nowhere to be found. Upon biting into my burrito, the tortilla tasted somewhat raw and the hash browns were extremely oily and overpowered the entire burrito so I was unable to even taste the brisket. The sando was reported to be very average and bland. Overall I believe this place has potential, ensuring proper staffing and price transparency would go a long way. read more

I got my food at a reasonable time, but my friends didn't get their food for 45 minutes. There was nothing done to reassure progress or even comp the meal. Overall the menu items are inventive and executed well at a reasonable price point. My son scarfed down the brisket burrito, and said his fav bite was the one that had the slice of brisket and fat on it. The soufflé pancakes were extra fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. This area has so many restaurants and stores that come and go but glad this old rubios got replaced with something good! My spouse and I went on grand opening day and although it was a rainy day, the traffic in here was still pretty good! You first go order at the counter and they give you a number to take back to your table and they will bring out the food for you. We ordered drip coffee, the original soufflé pancake and the breakfast burrito. The pancake was soft and the flavors went pretty well together. I loved that mango sauce on it! The breakfast burrito was good but I wish they gave a larger amount of salsa with it. The drip coffee I didn't like much as it tasted pretty watered down and they don't have sugar containers at the table so you have to ask for some. Also, not sure why the worker served creamer in an espresso cup. It seems very messy to pour creamer into my coffee from an espresso cup. I did like one of the owners coming to introduce herself to us and thanked us for dining there. Very friendly lady. We love supporting our local businesses and this place is right down the street and have plenty of parking and seating available inside and outside so I will definitely be making myself over more. read more

So I see a lot of reviews on here talking about the Brisket Burrito, I didn't try it, instead I went for their Brisket Sando which caught my eye for being just... kinda odd: beef brisket, Brie cheese, caramelized onion, mushrooms, sauce, fried egg on a brioche bun. I imagine a chef in the back kitchen being all like "guys, just go with me on this one." I see strange glances but ultimately support for this Sando Savant. "We're gonna take a grip load of juicy brisket and put it on our brioche bun." "Cool, sauce that bad boy, add some coleslaw for acid and crunch and..." "...( Channeling Isildur from LoTRs) NO... we're gonna take brie..." "brie?!" "Caramelized onions" "who are you?" "Mushrooms..." "I'm scared" "...finally, a fried egg!" "Get out" [most likely didn't happen this way but I like to dream] It probably shouldn't work: It's uniformly soft (no crunch), unrelentingly savory (no vinegar, or spice to cut the fat) and super messy (the brioche just can't contain all that moisture). Yet, I found it incredibly delightful. I will die on this hill. I think this sandwich is flawed but magnificent. I support the mind that creates this sandwich and I hope you'll love it too. TL;DR it's a flawed masterpiece. Get it while it still exists in this world. Otherwise, the wife got the steelhead trout toast. Pretty solid, nothing breathtaking but nothing bad. My boyfriend and I were really excited to try this brunch spot in Fullerton, but we were quickly disappointed with everything overall :( When we walked in, we weren't greeted and we were confused on if we were supposed to find a table or order first. We ended up waiting in line to order at the register, but once we got up there, the cashier let us know that there's a 15-20 minute wait to dine in. We ended up ordering to-go since we just wanted to eat, and the cashier told us he'd give us a call once our order was ready. We walked over to Barnes and Noble to pass the time, and we realized 40 minutes had passed without a call notifying us our food was ready. We went back to Kitch to check and our food was just sitting on the counter, not knowing how long it had been ready for since we did not receive a call. We ordered the kalbi jim sando, smoked brisket breakfast burrito, ube french toast, a regular matcha latte, and a pistachio cream matcha latte. We were underwhelmed by the food overall as the kalbi jim and smoked brisket tasted exactly the same and everything was pretty soggy due to the lack of notice that it was ready. The ube french toast also did not taste like ube unfortunately. The matchas were both really good, so if we were to come back, it'd just be for the drinks itself. I came here with friends on June 20th at about 11 in the morning, and when we came in, we weren't greeted even though it was not busy at all inside. We looked at the menu and walked up to order and the lady at the register did not seem friendly or welcoming but I looked past it. So, I ordered The Breakfast Plate and was asked by the lady about what kind of bread I wanted, I replied and then I asked what kind of sides are offered. The cashier responded saying The Breakfast Plate does not come with a side (with an attitude)... I felt very uncomfortable and kindly said that it does state it comes with a side on the menu. The cashier proceeds to look back and up at the TV menus for 10 seconds and says 'Oh yeah, you're right', (without even apologizing.. by the way). The food itself was good, the Spanish latte was not the best, I wish I would have felt comfortable enough to ask for a different drink (because the strawberry matcha was really good!) Overall, this business should be more friendly and offer better customer service, I felt disappointed and my friends also felt uncomfortable with that interaction. The spicy italian sausage pizza was a little bit salty for me personally and bottom of the pizza was a little bit burnt but overall it was good! But the banana biscoff french toast was so good! Managing expectations that this restaurant just opened three days ago is important. We arrived during the busy rush and it was hard to find seating and the food was slow. But the staff was lovely and communicative- and brought around free pizza for everyone. They were definitely overwhelmed and I don't think they expected it to be this popular the first weekend after opening. We had the brisket burrito and the fluffy pancakes and both came out great! I'd especially go back for the sweet treats as they were totally different than what's on offer anywhere else. If you are just looking for eggs and savory, it's pretty standard to other options around Fullerton. Visited this morning with a friend and unfortunately had a frustrating experience. We waited over an hour to be seated, watching several other parties walk in and get seated immediately. When we finally approached the host to ask, we were told that waitlisted guests must wait to be called -- even though we had been first on the list for almost half and hour and still saw multiple groups seated before us. Keep in mind, it was two of us and they were seating multiple other groups of two so no it's not a matter of having a different sized party. Once seated, we were given dirty utensils which the waitress noticed and replaced. It's self order through a QR code which I liked. We ordered the Original Soufflé Pancake, Kalbi Jjim Eggs Benedict, Banana Iced Matcha, and the Cali Sandwich. The food arrived quickly and tasted pretty good, but overall it didn't feel worth the price. My favorite has to be the Kalbi Jjim Eggs! The meat and flavor were perfect. The soufflé was very eggy but I love egg so I had no problem with it. Service was inconsistent, almost nonexistent--we had to ask three different staff members before finally receiving an extra plate as well as water. Some of the workers seemed to have attitudes as well. I believe the owner was walking back and forth, same one that replied to all these reviews so if you see this, I hope you can be more proactive to these criticisms as you see these things happening. We left an initial tip upon ordering and usually leave the rest after in cash, but we didn't tip any more after this experience. I may give this place one more try to explore a few more menu items, but if the service and organization don't improve, I won't be returning a third time. read more
