It completely lacked the fresh buttery greens quality of real gyokuro. The jasmine was okay. I gave up on the hojicha without even trying it after everyone else wound up not liking their teas either (they didn't dislike it as much as I did with the gyokuro, it just wasn't great). Reviews seem positive for this place so I dunno what was up with our drinks. While the tea flavor, at least for the jasmine, was strong, it was so strong it tasted almost artificial (compared to similar tea-forward places).

My friend thought it might be an issue with the AC or the HVAC. Hopefully that issue is resolved the next time we visit. When that resolves it will be a 5 star spot.

We did not get a filling nor try the delectable appearing chocolate waffle - next time!
