Went here on a week night and the place was pretty busy for it. Waitress was pleasant and was prompt. The apps and burgers were all awesome. I got the Vermont burger, which is a go to for me when I get a burger. It was awesome, the maple mayo on it was so different and good. The only reason I am giving 4/5 is because the tables and chairs were awful, they have tables for 2 which are probably less than 2'by2'. And the bigger tables for 4 are still pretty small. The tables have stools as well, so it's not a comfortable seating idea. read more

I really wanted to like this place because of how much I love the original one in Plymouth, but boy was it a bad experience. I went on a Sunday around 2pm and when I walked in, it was packed. It looked as if a table had just opened up by the door so we were sat within 5 minutes which was great The waitress came right up to us and took our drink order and we ordered an appetizer(fried pickles and jalapenos), which I've had at the original. The drinks came pretty quickly and the appetizer in about 10 minutes. I ordered a delicious Mayflower Saison and the girl ordered a root beer. So far so good right? The sad thing is that this is was the pinnacle of the experience. I think our waitress(the older blonde lady) was high or just a huge air head who has no business being a waitress because she literally walked by our table at least 15 times over the next 45 minutes and didn't even stop ONCE to ask if I needed a refill or even a water, which I did. After almost an HOUR, I'm not kidding, we finally got our food. I had ordered the hell burger medium rare. It was so bad. I think the buns were literally taken from the freezer and thrown into a toaster because they were hard as rocks and it literally snapped in half when I bit it. My girlfriend ordered the California burger and the same thing happened to her. No only that, but when I order a burger medium, I would like it to be PINK in the middle, not grey. That's right...it was well done. Same thing goes for my girlfriends burger. There was no sense sending it back because the waitress didn't even stop back over until we were done eating so we just wanted to eat and get the hell out of there. I get it...you were busy, but the place cleared out throughout the meal and the terrible waitress still didn't check on us once and the service didn't improve. Very dis-satisfied. Also...what the hell is with all of the crudweiser shit all over the walls? If you want to stand out from the other crappy pubs in the area with generic bar food, cut the shit with the crappy beer ads. Every bar sells crappy light beer you aren't any different. I will give this place another chance since it's kinda new but I thought a few months would have been sufficient since it's not the first one and I figure they would know what the hell they are doing already. **Gluten free** Wow, I don't get the bad reviews. This place makes the most unbelievable burgers!! And, I don't mean to brag, but I'm from West Texas, so I'm basically an expert on cows. Very accommodating for my gluten free diet!! I get the California burger w gluten free bread, or just no bread at all. The tater tots are fab. Prob shared fryers, I'm really not sure, but I've never had any problems, other than needing to be rolled out the door because I'm SO crazy stuffed. Yes, wait times for food are lengthy. We come here a lot because the food is usually decent though the service is never anything to write home about. Tonight we were sorely disappointed by the lack of professionalism exhibited by the staff. Our server only acknowledged us when taking our order, the food came out slightly wrong and with a greasy slip of paper from the kitchen between my sandwich and fries. It was impossible to get the server's attention because she was too busy chatting with the other staff about a disgruntled table outside. One server said "I don't want to see her ugly face" referring to the table that was upset that she had not acknowledged their presence, loud enough for all guests to hear. Our experience is usually great but tonight was almost a complete fail. My order came out wrong THREE times. The third time it came out so completely wrong I just said forget it and ate the fries and a pickle for dinner. We were sitting at the bar and the bartender was a great guy and apologized many times - it wasn't his fault the kitchen messed up the order so many times - he even showed us the slip with the correct order on it. I would have chalked it up to the place being busy, but it wasn't even half full. I went home and made myself a sandwich ...might skip visiting the Marshfield Katies for a while. read more

We had an outstanding lunch here today! The service was fast and friendly. I had the krunch burger burger which was to die for!! It was a burger with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, house made potato chips, and topped with house made garlic and shallot dip. My husband had the Vermonter which was a burger with caramelized apples and onions, cheddar, & house made maple mayo. The meat was juicy and flavorful on both. We went as a family of 6 for the experience of burgers! Man did we ever get that! The space is pretty small although the bar is pretty big and long, with tall tables for eating that seat either 4 or 2, so we had to split up, which is not a big deal since the teenagers would rather sit alone anyway. The menu is rather extensive, with a burger to please any palate. They have a variety of sides as well, regular curly fries, sweet potato fries (with a nice sweet/spicey blend of seasonings), truffle fries (fries with truffle oil seasoned with parmasean cheese (strong smelling), and green fries (green beans smothered in butter and salt and pepper-yum). So when you finally find the room at the small table to peruse the menu and make your selection, you can order from the very friendly staff. All good up to this point. They ask if you want the burgers with "some pink" or "no pink" eliminating the uncertainty of the whole "med. well, med., med rare thing. But they didn't get that quiet right. Out of 5 burgers, they got one right. We all ordered them "no pink" but they came very pink, but not so pink as to have them returned. I can live with that I guess. They were big burgers! I ordered the California Burger with guacamole (very tasty), lettuce, tomato, red onion and tortilla chips. The burger itself was large, as was the piece of lettuce and slices of tomato. Not an easy thing to eat with two hands. I had to take the tortilla chips off, and cut it in half, again, not too easy to do. The flavors worked well together, but the bottom bun was soggy by this point and the burger very juicy, so it wasn't a pretty sight to watch. I managed to get through just over half before I had to call it quits. Too much going on there. The green fries were yummy though. The others in our party had pretty much the same experience and overall, weren't too impressed with the general messiness of the whole meal. The chicken fingers my daughter ordered were breaded with plain panko bread crumbs and cooked too long, so they were pretty bland. A bit of seasoning would have made them better. Since they were the new kid on the block, we thought we would try them out. Overall our ratings were between 4 and 7. Better than Five Guys, but not quite worth a trip back soon. read more

I came here for lunch with my parents last Sunday. The place is small and hidden. Luckily, we beat the lunch rush and were seated promptly. The tables are small and the stools are backless. I ordered a Bloody Mary. It was not that good and tasted watery. The food menu is huge and overwhelming. I got the mushroom burger with pepper jack cheese and fries. It was nothing special. They charge you $2.50 for a fee to split a burger. My parents got a different burger and said they liked it. My dad said the clam chowder was good too. The service and staff were Mediocre. Since the restaurant is small, it can get very and feel overcrowded. It is not too expensive but I don't think it is worth going back for as nothing stands out. read more

I will be honest, not my favorite burger joint. Although, I always find myself going back. The burgers are big, creative and messy. If that is your kind of burger, you will love this place. I'm more of a burger purest and the meat is the most important aspect. The flavor of the meat they use is good, but not great in my opinion. I've been to some of the top burger joints in the country, from the east coast all the way to Hawaii. Although there are some great places in Texas and Hawaii, K' katies is the best of them all. I try to go once a month, both Marshfield and Plymouth. Both are excellent. Great entertainment as well. Love it!!!! read more

The burgers are good quality and very filling. Service is friendly, but as others have noted, slow. Both times that I have been there my burger wasn't cooked correctly, but since they are cooked fresh (as expected) it would take way too long to send back. The house made chips are really good. My biggest complaint is value. $28.00 not including tip seems steep for a bacon cheeseburger and kids chicken served in baskets with a soda and chocolate milk. We're not talking about anything super special. Seating is TIGHT. If I took my wife and other two children for what amounts to a "pub grub" lunch, it would run about $70-$75. Simply not a good value for slow service, tight seating, and ok food. read more

Went here last night with my friend and we go here often and everytime is awesome but we haven't been in a while and they have new kitchen staff. I would hold off on going here until they get a new cook otherwise be prepared to wait 45 mins for your food, not get what you ordered and get told you're wrong twice but then get apologized to b/c you were right BUT still get the wrong burger then get the right burger but it's still kickin like medium rare and your order did say no pink so then you wait another 50 mins to ask the owners son where is my burger and he told me that the cook refuses to make my burger and is arguing with him. I wish I was told that 50 mins ago. You'd think he'd get fired for being so disrespectful to his coworkers and I'd get my burger...guess again. My burger got taken off and so did the 6 beers we drank but I left starving and pretty upset after being treated so disrespectfully by the cook. read more

Very excited for this place to open. We have to say we were nervous after reading some of the reviews here. However we found KKaties to be a really fun spot for a casual dinner, depending on what night your there. The burgers are a little messy to eat; but it is only because they are overflowing with toppings and sauces. They differently got it right with the Hawaiian burger We ended up there on a Wednesday night. for our first time, we found the place to be small and cramped. However the atmosphere and the staff really make it feel comfortable. which is why I went back the very next night.. different staff and not nearly as friendly and engaging as the girls and gentlemen on Wednesday night. we will differently be back. my wife thinks the Veggie burger was one of the best she has ever had. read more

Burgers are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is loud and the tables are quite close together. If you are at a two person table by the bar, it's an extremely tight squeeze. We saw kkatie's on phantom gourmet so we went to try it. Such a great choice for dinner. To start we were all happy to see they served coke products! My husband had the bbq bacon cheddar burger, my daughter had the take a shot burger with fried pickles and fried banana peppers and I had the hawaiian terriyaki burger with swiss cheese and bacon. We were pleasantly surprised! Fries come with all burgers but they offer onion rings, tater tots, curly fries and some other choices too upgrade your fries. Can't wait to go back again soon! Have always had good experiences here at Kkatie's until my latest one where I unfortunately experienced less than satisfactory service. Rude server. Raw french fries. My friend asked for truffles fries and he was presented with fries that were indeed not truffle. I politely asked for a drink, got no response and when she returned with my drink, I asked again for said drink she responded with "I heard you". Felt very rushed when it wasn't even too busy at all. We used to live closer to this location and used to come here a lot (like once a week). We moved three years ago and haven't been back since, but for last night. The burgers were always so delicious with lots of sauce/toppings/sides, etc. I used to have enough for dinner and then bring half home for lunch the next day. The burger itself last night was small, very dry and didn't have a whole lot of toppings (I ordered the Vermonter which was always my favorite, but comes with bacon, cheese sauce, apples and onions). I get portion size is an issue and out of control, but the lack of toppings just made it taste like dry hamburger meat. I don't know what happened in the three years since we've last been, but I'm so sad. My husband had the same experience.
