Right around the time Klatch opened up last year, I never paid attention to it until I saw my friend's Instagram story and decided to pay them a visit. This place is very cute...I have been into smaller chain coffee houses and not have to depend on Sbux. The drinks here are really good. They have a good amount of food selections. I got an avocado toast which is really good and a crème brûlée latte!!! I'm seeing all these raving reviews about Klatch and I've got to be honest, I feel that Klatch is overrated! I liked Dripp better back when it was here. The coffee here is good, don't get me wrong - but it's not amazing. I will definitely be coming here for a quick coffee fix especially since it is so close to my house but I feel like their coffees are just lacking in the quality that I expect. The vanilla latte I had was missing the distinct nutty smoothness of good espresso, and it was too sweet. While I have been to the other locations, today's visit was no different. Friendly and fast service. I'm taking off stars for the taste of the coffee. The almond cashew milk is a bit too strong and does not go well with the latte I ordered. I did not like it nor could I finish it. I wished they would allow me to get it fixed. The cashew flavor gave a bitter after taste and the syrup was too sweet, can't even taste the flavor. Interior decor is nice with a modern touch. If I had to name a place where I felt the most at home and happy.....it would be Klatch! I came to Dripp before and never cared for it, but the vibe and environment here is SO different. I've become quite the regular here, 2 or 3 times a week at least to do homework because I cannot focus at home! Every single time I come in, I am greeted with the happiest and sweetest customer service I think I've ever experienced! No matter how long I'm there (sometimes like 4+hrs), I am always treated like they are happy I'm there! I never feel like an inconvenience or like I'm overstaying! Everyone I've met over the past couple of weeks have been so insanely friendly, they always ask me about my life and compliment me it brightens up my days more than they'll ever know! I have just never experienced an environment that I've loved so much, I get so happy to come back, even when I'm dreading doing work! The drinks are incredible, and you can taste how much time and care they put into each one! The Real Pumpkin Latte is delicious AND the Pumpkin Cold Brew I LOVE! They always give me good suggestions and the food is delicious too!! I cannot say enough nice things about this place, it has easily become my favorite coffee shop, and I just appreciate the amount of detail and training that has clearly gone on here! This place is NOT dog friendly which isn't really the big issue. The issue I had was all the workers saw me walking with my dog, I was able to order my drinks WITH my dog and it wasn't until after I had ordered my drink did they tell me dogs were not allowed. I was waiting for my drink and found a seat and that is when they told me dogs weren't allowed. They every opportunity to tell me dogs weren't allowed. My money and time was wasted here. I will not be coming back to this place. I can't believe they just watched me order, find a seat and wait for a few minutes before they said anything about my dog. (I wasn't hiding my dog either. This place is always slow. 5 mins to warm up a muffin on a Wednesday at 3pm. Staff are chatting the manager is making drinks and they're all avoiding eye contact with waiting customers. The other annoying thing is that they charge you a processing fee for each credit card purchase without telling you about it. I started paying using cash but then they never have change. So it's always "oh I'll owe you 32 cents" when you think about it on a 3 dollar purchase that's an extra 10% each time. I don't know about you but on this day and age where the APR on a CD is 0.03%. An additional 10% markup on each transaction is good business. I just don't like how they are sneaky about it. Check your receipt if you pay by CC. read more

I didn't make any remarks or anything but I waited for my coffee for over 30 minutes & 4 other peoples orders after me got theirs ahead of time. The seating arrangement is really nice, I like that there is an upstairs seating area as well. The coffee and customer service is also really great here. The coffee is high quality, and doesn't taste like it's just mass produced or made in a hurry. I ordered a Mexican Mocha and usually cafes go a little too heavy with the cinnamon, but the baristas at Klatch made it with a perfect balance between all the flavors. It was a really nice surprise. Also the cashier, Bell, made me feel really welcome and was really helpful when I was asking about the different coffee beans Klatch has to offer. I will be back! read more

I've been a fan of Klatch Coffee for decades now so I'm a bit biased. But I have experienced quality coffee around the world and I still think my hometown roaster is as good as anything out there. It's exciting to see them expanding as a business so more people can experience their award winning coffee. The Chino location may be their most beautiful spot to date. Located inside the old Dripp Coffee building, aesthetically, it's perfect mix of neo-industrial, clean modern, and rustic warmth. There's outdoor seating with hanging planters, indoor seating in front of the bar, and even a really nice loft section overlooking the main level. The only drawbacks I experienced on my visit were the lack of sandwiches (they told me their oven was still on the way), and the fact that they were training baristas and cashiers which meant a little longer wait time, and some variances depending on who made the coffee itself. Mine was made by a trainee so the latte art looked like a poop emoji, and was a little overly sweet (I know the typical klatch flavor profile very well). Again, this is all forgivable and can I'm sure be chalked up to opening day/week growing pains. I plan on visiting again in a week or so, and assume it will all be rectified as is the case with all their other locations. By the way if you haven't had Klatch sandwiches, I highly recommend the Show Off for breakfast or the Turkey Pesto Panini for lunch. Their sandwiches are incredible, and definitely the most underrated part of their menu. Of course the highlight is their beans. Decades in the industry means exclusive rights to special batches on established farms, and locally roasted to perfection. If you like coffee, I highly recommend any drink where you can actually taste their beans/roasts. Pour over, cold brew, cappuccinos or a side car with your latte (just a single shot of espresso in a beautiful little ceramic cup) etc. If you want a dessert drink, their Eskimocha and Patio Special are a real treat but still full of their signature coffee flavor. I've never been a huge fan of any of their seasonal drinks, but I don't come to Klatch for gimmicks, I come because their coffee is incredible and I can always count on it to live up to the standard I've come to expect. read more

So stuck at 3.5 stars but rounded up since I've had more positive than negative experiences. I do love the atmosphere and it has enough space to study or meet up with people. Only iffy part is when it comes to drinks. It's inconsistent. For example my favorite is the vanilla latte. It's either wow or all I taste is foamed milk. It really depends on the barista. I ordered the Nitro coffee and it was ordered as 9oz- served in 8oz tiny cup you would put a side of dressing in- and it tasted horrible. My fiancé and I love this place. We come here 3-4 times a week. The staff is soooo friendly! I've been to a few Klatch coffees and everyone is always kind, but the staff at the Klatch in the Shoppes goes above and beyond. I love that their coffee is freshly brewed for each cup. I love the winter wonderland roast. My fiancé gets a cold brew with SF vanilla and almond cashew milk and loves it. I've tried a few different things on their menu and I've never been disappointed. She just asks what I want... then, when the transaction is finished and I pay on the card machine... she just disappears and starts doing something else. No bye. No nothing. Friends with coffee FANATICS, but they said the drinks tasted like soy sauce with lime. I didn't believe it until I tried some, instant gag reflex.
