When you walk in youre hit with sterile, plain, boring colors that reminds you of a dentists office. Price of a iced latte is relative to the prices around here, however, the smallest cup is about 10oz which is pretty small compared to the usual 12oz small cup. I went at 11am and the espresso wasn't dialed in currently. Extraction tasted weak and old. Overall latte didn't have any subtle sweetness or nuttiness. Did not weight my beans or use a timer. Kind of disappointed with their technique and lack of care. Would not recommend this place at all considering how many better coffee shops there are in the area. read more

Oh, I I miss the good old days when Dripp was here! Having a good coffee place at the Shoppes is vital though, so Klatch is definitely the next good thing! We were there on a Saturday morning, and it was busy but not crazy busy. Something was definitely off with the baristas as they got our order wrong twice and we had to wait for it for a long time. Given we only had an hour to meet up for a friend's birthday coffee, sorting out our order for 30 minutes was not part of the plan. These guys were super apologetic and offered us extra drinks, but it ws still pretty dissapointing. Also, I miss the comfy chairs and couches upstairs... We have a vacation rule that we can't go anywhere we have at home... including National coffee chains (aka We went here 2x during our trip. Had experience #2 been our first time there, there is no way I would have gone back. Visit 1 - staff super helpful telling us about the bakery items made in house etc. Food and drinks were great. Visit 2- the next day. We were told they have no 2% milk, just non fat (no foam would be created) oat milk, almond milk and half and half but we could get our drink made with any of those for no up charge, opted for drinks with no milk. Ordered some food, the cashier read the order back to us and we paid. While waiting for our food a manager comes in and gets upset with the staff for not up charging customers for almond milk or oat milk. The staff explains that they don't have milk and it's not fair and the manager told them they didn't care and that up charges were mandatory, it didn't matter that they were unprepared by not having milk at 7:30am. The next thing I hear is someone asking an employee in the back if they had any food orders and they say "no" and are told to come up front and ring people up. I chime in asking about our food order, they say we didn't order food and check the history and tell us we didn't order and that we have to pay..: this is partly our fault, we were in a rush and didn't have time to ask to see the receipt etc. But the cashier told us our food order when reviewing it before we paid!!! So, next time we are near a klatch, we may go in but definitely avoiding this location if at all possible, no matter how conveniently located it was. read more

I'm so sad to be leaving this review. I love the cap on tap with oat milk and ordered 2. My car had broken down in the parking lot so I was calling the dealership outside and dealing with my crying toddler. I kept checking the bar through the window and didn't see my drinks and after 18 minutes I went inside to see where my drinks were. I waited with my crying toddler and was standing watching baristas on their phones and my drinks weren't done. I eventually went back into line to wait to ask where my drinks were or if I could have a refund... that took another 5 minutes. At this point it had been 25 minutes... I said I was waiting and needed to go bc my toddler was crying and the manager could have cared less. She started ringing out my refund and didn't even want to just give me my drinks. If she would've just made my drinks right there I would've been fine but she started to ring me out a refund and didn't refund me my tip. I had to ask for that to be refunded separately. I just couldn't believe the response I got of "oh" when I told her I hadn't gotten my drink and her baristas were on their phones. No apology or care that I waited for 25 minutes. I was already stressed about my car being broken down in their lot but this pushed me over the edge. I'm sad that I feel like I can never come back here, bc I loved this drink. read more

Great addition to the neighborhood! We've been here several times since they first opened and no complaints. Klatch is everything Starbucks wishes they were. Everything tastes so fresh and real. The atmosphere is great and very aesthetically pleasing. All of the employees are friendly and provide great service. My husband's go to is an iced vanilla bean latte. Another go to is a cold brew with almond cashew milk. On our last visit over the weekend we felt spontaneous and both ordered seasonal drinks! He tried the peppermint cold brew and I tried the gingersnap latte, both were so good! I can't wait to explore more of their menu. We used to go to the Klatch location in San Dimas, but having one close to home now is a dream. This is definitely our favorite coffee shop! read more

I love the atmosphere here. I was able to do work for 3-4 hrs straight & was not distracted or disturbed. The cafe is super spacious with outdoor and indoor seating. This was my first time here and I was not disappointed. I asked the worker what he would recommend and he suggested either the vanilla bean latte or the creme brûlée latte. The location is really nice and the employees are very sweet. They have an upstairs area where you can enjoy your coffee as well as an outside patio. When I went, the lines were long but my drinks didn't take too long to be ready. I tried the berry toast it looks very pretty, but it wasn't the greatest. Never really one to leave a bad review and idk if every time I come here someone is having a bad day but the service is always terrible.... Like no greeting, no small talk which is fine maybe not every place does that but it feels almost worse than transactional here :/ like I know I'm here to get coffee and you're here to do your job but why make me feel weird just for coming in for a coffee? I got a cold brew all she did was pour it into the cup. I think the only thing the girl said to me was "cash or card" even when I was done paying I wasn't sure if the transaction was complete cause she just stopped talking to me lol? I was confused after it was over she just dropped the change into my hand and walked away... And when she handed me the coffee she didn't even say anything it was so strange.... I left feeling so strange, like I inconvenienced her so terribly. Whoever was working at around 4pm 1/23/25 I hope she has a better day and that when she goes to other places that they treat her like a human being and make her feel welcome, I hope they greet her when she comes in and they don't leave her feeling weird and confused. I genuinely wish her the best and that she has peace in her heart because my experience was just so negative and off putting, it made me sad. I had the Salted Caramel Cold Brew! It was really nice actually, I loved the amount of salt that was in the foam! I did forget to ask the last time but I wasn't sure what the foam was (if it was milk or heavy cream) so it melted into the drink fairly quickly. But the sweetness and the coffee was right to me My mom had the mocha and she enjoyed it as well (it wasn't too sweet which she liked) We also tried the scone and the chocolate chip muffin (I think It's been over a week haha) and if you have it warmed up, it tastes really good read more

Order a peach ice tea and quite disappointed since all syrup is at bottom and a few sip took out all sweetness and rest of drink taste like water. Is it possible to give a place six stars? I have had nothing but positive experiences in the 6+ months I have been coming to Klatch. First, the service is amazing and the workers and manager are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Workers like Bell and the manager Chris stand out in this regard. I have been to many other coffee shops in the United States, in Italy, and in China and Klatch by far outshines any other when it comes to service and the workers creating an environment where customers feel welcome. In my opinion, this is crucial to any good coffee shop. I have gone into coffee shops where the person taking my order seemed annoyed or unfriendly, or was only nice to certain customers, and I simply did not go back into those coffee shops, but this did not happen to me at Klatch, and I in fact experience far superior service here which is a big part of why I keep coming back. I think part of this comes from the manager's excellent leadership, and I sometimes see him working with the workers here to help them do their best, and other coffee shops would be wise to take notes. Second, the coffee is incredible. I personally gravitate toward ordering the vanilla bean latte since I try to keep consistent routines in my life, but I have tried other drinks like the creme brulee, the chippuccino, chai latte, and the new real pumpkin latte. I usually order a small which is five dollars for the vanilla bean latte with whole milk, but a small is already a reasonably sized cup of coffee that the vast majority of people would be satisfied by. I will admit, sometimes the drink is not consistent. It might taste sweeter or less sweet or it might be a different type of milk, but this is quite rare and the drink is still amazing regardless. My girlfriend got hooked on the vanilla bean lattes from the first type I let her have a sip of mine. Regardless, Klatch has an incredibly diverse set of drink offerings, and every cup is made with love. So, if you don't like what you order the first time, I would seriously advise giving the place another chance with a different drink. I was pretty much exclusively a black coffee drinker, but now I am a latte lover. Third, I love the vibe here. Both the young and the old flock to Klatch. Many people like to study or get remote work done here, while others like to chat with a friend or family member for hours. The Chino Hills location has a nice neo-industrial type aesthetic that just feels nice to be in. There are tables on ground floor and the second floor, as well as outside. I personally prefer to sit on the stools at the bar-type seating which is also on each floor (only the stool seating on the top floor has working outlets though). I also really like the music that plays, or at least the songs I notice which tend to be oldies. The whole space as well as the coffee are Instagram-worthy. The fact that so many people come here to study or get work done helps motivate me to get more stuff done myself. The one caveat here is that enough people come here to make finding a seat occasionally difficult, but most people will almost certainly let you share a table sit in the stool next to them on the bar-seating if you just ask. Fourth, the app makes paying very easy, and you are incentivized to pay with the app by the fact that you get double the reward points if you do so. I've already racked up hundreds of review points after using the app a couple of months, and I regret not using it the first few months from when I started coming here. Fifth, the food and pastries are delightful. I have less to say about this mainly because I tend to avoid eating breakfast, but every time I have shared a sandwich here with my girlfriend or eaten a muffin it has been incredible. My girlfriend and I both love their pistachio muffins, but sadly it is a seasonal item and we are eagerly awaiting its (hopeful) return in a few months. Overall, there are many good reasons Klatch gets so packed. It's just that good. If I never discovered this place I honestly probably would not have finished my Master's thesis on time and therefore not gotten the current job offer I have, and I also would have never fallen in love with vanilla bean lattes. read more

Been here a few times to leave an honest review. I end up coming here more than I'd like mainly because they're open pretty late (9-10pm) in comparison to other study spots nearby. So why 3 stars? To start, pretty overpriced for amount of coffee u get...and then when you try to pay with cash, they say they accept "exact change only." I saw at least a dozen people having to jumble their things because now they had to look for a debit card. Not sure why this policy is in place considering the high traffic the shoppes provides , but anyway. Learned my lesson. Another visit, I was pretty excited to see the upstairs loft was empty (since this place is pretty packed at all times of the day). I walk to the stairs and it's closed off. I ask the barista if it will be closer the rest of the night (4 hours til closing). She said Yes, the staff was having a Xmas party.... a Xmas party. In the middle of open hours. Found it kinda odd and inconvenient they would close off half the seating for something that could be done after hours. But If we r talking just about the coffee, iced latte on its own will wake u up pretty good. My personal favorite location! Everyone here is so friendly and personable. They also make theeee best scones fresh baked in house whereas the location closest to my house does not. They have a wider variety on their menu as well. The store itself is fairly large with an upstairs seating area and is always clean and well maintained. Their coffees are the best out there, my personal favorite is the iced vanilla latte. It's the perfect blend of espresso with just enough creamy vanilla flavor and half & half. Their seasonal scone currently is the pumpkin with a spiced glaze and it's a must try! I love that their scones are baked fresh vs pre-packaged.
