Received these two delicious donuts from Knead for my birthday treat. The strawberry one was VERY sweet - the crumb topping gave it a good crunch balance with the softness of the donut. And it was so pretty! The Oreo cronut was SO good! It was less sweet than the strawberry one (surprising) but it was very good! My sister signed me up for their loyalty program, and there are constant specials texted to me. There isn't much of a seating area, as my first visit I did eat inside with my sister. Every visit I've had very pleasant customer service. Parking is shared with a dozen other businesses, so I always worry where I'll park, yet I've always found a spot near by. They have traditional cake donuts, breakfast sandwiches on croissants, cronuts, and specialty donuts. So not so much traditional glazed, chocolate bars, or maple donuts. If you're looking for an "elevated" donut (not the regular/classics), you have a sweet tooth or just want a good breakfast sandwich, this is your spot. The location was nice and clean. The donuts were displayed nicely in front and looked pretty fresh. I believe I spoke to the owner, and he was a friendly, cool guy. He insisted I do the half dozen (I did), and he even included some complimentary "cronut holes" (croissant/donut). That was a nice gesture, especially after getting the bill. I didn't ask the price of the half dozen, but for that and two breakfast sandwiches, be prepared to spend at least $30-40. The flavor selection was good. The donuts were good. They are very rich and sweet, IMO - I'd visit here periodically because the sugar load is a lot! The breakfast sandwiches were large and hot. I'd visit more for the breakfast sandwiches. 5/5 first time experience visiting Knead Donuts. Shop is in the same plaza as Target, Starbucks, etc. It's located right next to Starbucks. Parking can suck depending on when you go. Ended up here on a morning walk and let's just say the walk was worth it. Staff was really friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. I wanted to get a box worth of donuts, but I really only ever eat 1 at most. Ended up getting their strawberry crunch donut and a guava cream cronut. I had pointed out the cronut holes that they had when we walked in since I had never seen a place do that before and she threw a few in for us for free! If the other donuts are as good as the ones we got, then they'll all hit the spot. Definitely need to come back to try the other donuts. read more

Not as impressed as most other reviewers. From the photos these donuts looked really good, and reminded me of ones at Sidecar and Oliboli. Price is comparable to those places, but the flavor is not. I got Blueberry, Strawberry Crunch, Lemon Old Fashion, and a croissant. None of them were overly sweet, which I liked, but they were also muted in flavor. The croissant was actually my favorite, mainly because they just made a fresh batch so they were fresh and warm. It actually tasted like a donut in a croissant shape (but not a kronut). The other donuts were all dense and doughy, like a muffin. Strawberry Crunch was kind of weird. I did taste strawberry but also tasted quite a bit of cardamom. Lemon Old Fashion didn't have a sharp citrus flavor I was expecting, unlike Oliboli's Meyer Lemon. Blueberry was little better than ones I had at other places, but was still kind of weak in flavor. read more

It looked nice but it was stale, barely sweet (I don't even like super sweet things so that shows you how not sweet it was ), not flakey. This is a cute little donut shop on 7th street conveniently located to schools and hospital with easy parking. The service is fast and friendly and they even gave me a sample to try out their Tiger Tail Donut. The zombie iced coffee is delicious and strong! A few sips and you'll feel your vessels dilate and feel the kick and even palpitations if you're sensitive to caffeine. Ah! I can't believe this place has finally opened up near me. I've visited the Long Beach location before and wished that there was one in the Lakewood/Cerritos area. Lo and behold one was opened up! Located in a shopping complex filled with lots of other food options and where parking is at a premium. Depending on when you come, parking could be a hassle to find. I recommend coming early in the morning and grabbing your donuts then. Also, this will help minimize their running out of some favorites like the Tiger Tail. They have a variety of options, at most maybe 10 different types, with enough to satisfy virtually any sweet tooth or donut cravings. I highly recommend the Creme Brulee and the Tiger Tail. The Tiger Tail is a glaze and chocolate twist that is not too chocolatey. While the creme brulee, with the vanilla filling, is to die for. read more

It's a cute little shop that had so many beautifully decorated treats on display. It was almost 8 on a Friday night and I was happy to see they were still serving HOT DONUTS! The first thing that caught my eye were the butter croissants drizzled in their donut glaze - I mean, whattttt???? They looked so golden and yummy. When the young lady at the counter told me that they we're fresh from the oven, it was a done deal. I also grabbed a "Tiger Tail" also still warm. Came here on a whim, just curious... They are extremely warm and friendly and I ended up buying an assortment of donuts on Black Friday. They did not last one day at my house, my family smashed the whole box, happily! The doughnuts were light but chewy, not dense at all. The best texture you want. The highlights were the glazed croissants, tiger tails,, and my favorite was the German chocolate cake donut. There's alot of mediocre donuts spots but this one is legit! Of course I will be returning for the donuts and croissant sandwiches (delicious) BUT the customer service is what is really be drawing me back... Long story short I was having a bad morning, I was supposed to be going to Starbucks to do my work, I stopped in Knead to get a sandwich... while I was waiting the sweet woman asked if I wanted a donut because they just came out and they were hot... of course I accepted .
