Wow! Nice lady who greet us and they have a couple of customers eating and we order teriyaki chicken and I have yakisoba tofu to go. We got home I said it's probably not good , but I was wrong it's freaking good!!! my husband says this is really good and there's a lot in the box for that price it's worth it. Try before go to Panda haha I will go back again and try something else thank you Kobo!

My husband introduced me to Kobo on our vacation to Washington over Christmas...amazing! Staff are so friendly and the food is wonderful - not overly oily etc. Try their house made chili sauce (which you can buy to take home!) Prices have gone up considerably due to inflation, but the noodle bowls are still around $11-$13 and very filling. Try this place out!

I love this place. They grill the chicken perfectly. The veggies are never cold and always steamed the same.

Boom yakisoba! Their teriyaki sauce is sweet, but the Star is their chili sauce and it flavorful with out being over the top hot.

Reheat teriyaki to order. They do not cook it to order. If you dig microwaved food this is your place. I am not so I won't be back.

Coming from a background where I've worked a sushi restaurant and have had really good quality…read moresushi, I was pretty disappointed with the quality served. Let's start with the positives though. The service here is friendly as my boyfriend and I were greeted and seated promptly with menus. We ended up going with their current special where you get two rolls and an appetizer, my boyfriend got the salmon delight while I got the coconut shrimp roll with the shrimp tempura for our appetizer. The ambiance here is very classy and definitely goes for a more upscale dining experience with paper lanterns, minimalistic decor and the slightly dim lighting. We got salad and miso soup but I have never seen the salad with a thick orange dressing, it was alright but my boyfriend wasn't a fan. The miso soup was okay but I really wished they put tofu or wakame. We got the shrimp tempura first and the shrimp is nice and juicy, however the breading was a bit off. It had a weird texture and taste that I have never tasted on shrimp tempura. Our rolls were dropped off and I noticed that the rolls are huge but the quality was not the great. The rice appeared mushy, the spicy tuna filling for both rolls was meh (also spicy for my boyfriend who can't handle spicy), and my coconut shrimp roll had a different sauce from the coconut shrimp as it was a spicy mayo (orange) compared to the white coconut sauce that was drizzled on the side of coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp also had the same batter as the shrimp tempura so it was off putting and I was hoping more for the traditional coconut shrimp with coconut flakes on it. I wouldn't mind trying out the peanut butter chicken or their other entrees as I feel like that would have been the better move. Our server didn't really check in on us until the end which was unfortunate as my boyfriend needed water, especially due to how spicy the spicy tuna was.

Amazing teriyaki! Tied with the best in town with Fuji Teriyaki…read more The teriyaki sauce is sweet so I def recommend adding at least a level 1 spice to give it more oomph. The fried rice is basically white rice with veggies - not very flavorful or wok hei seasoned. It'd be amazing if yall fried it more, added more seasoning esp white pepper. Wouldn't recommend upgrading from steamed rice. The spicy chicken teriyaki is more of a dry teriyaki but it is delicious. Not gochujang based, more sambal and very yummy. I wish they would stir fry with veggies like Fuji does but still delicious and definitely recommend. As soon as you walk in the door you know it'll be rly good. Any place that has the owners kids playing or workin there will always be good. They were quick even though they were swamped at 3PM. They had a ton of door dash orders while i was there as well. As far as interior it's really cute and welcoming. They got part of my order wrong (I wanted steamed rice with the spicy chicken and got fried rice but since it still clumped together i didn't mind.) Def go here! My teriyaki rankings: Zabdi = Fuji, Kobo (they have a new owner so this isn't accurate to date. I've heard it's bad now), GG's, Royal's, Kobe, Happy Teriyaki (absolutely awful fried rice. Teriyaki is yummy but the rice was so bad it's made me jaded). Thanks for attending my TED talk

I also noticed their sign that says "open in Sunday's" to which I giggled because I just mentioned to my husband that I bet they are closed on Sunday's, so kudos to them for knowing their customers. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and I need to mention that I LOVE when they add the side salad with the white salad dressing, throw that dressing on the rice with pepper and teriyaki sauce and it's FIRE. If they are smart they will be selling that by the bottle soon like seen some other places start doing once they caught on. The teriyaki sauce is the thick sweet kind which I love because the more runny kind is too savory and tangy for my liking. I only went inside for a second but the place looked really cool! The also have Boba Tea and Sushi which I'll have to try soon, but there's a lot of seating and parking around the building so there's plenty of space. I recommend someone take a photo of their updated menu so the prices are current. (I forgot). I paid about $30 for two chicken teriyakis. I'll be picking up more frequently from here since it's hard sometimes to find a good teriyaki spot!

We take sushi seriously and have tried great spots across the country, so we don't impress easily…read more We stopped at Asahi Sushi on our way to Olympic National Park just for a quick meal -- and it turned into one of the most memorable stops of the trip. The interior feels refined and stylish, with soft lighting and purple accents that give it a calm, upscale vibe. Service was genuinely kind, attentive, and well-timed. The miso soup was deep in flavor, the seaweed salad fresh and nicely plated. The Baked Salmon Roll and Olympian Roll really stood out -- fresh fish, balanced flavors, and beautiful presentation. Sitting there to eat would probably be awkward with every patron passing behind you. We got the Paradise and the Hurricane rolls. The Paradise was good, but the Hurricane won hands down. Sweet and savory, crunchy and creamy, with a touch of spiciness, this was the complete package. Highly recommend. The bathroom is outside of the restaurant through a winding corridor of backrooms. It's unsettling, and then the restroom itself is lit in a sickly yellow. One of the motion-sensing faucets had its motion-sensor ripped out, and the sink drain looked like it had been dissolved in acid. Kinda weird!

Fujiyama Hibachi Grill was my first ever hibachi experience and it definitely did not disappoint!…read moreWe went for lunch around 12:30 and they had just opened at noon, so we were only the second table there. It took them a few minutes to get going, but once they did, the service was really friendly and fast. Sean and I don't eat seafood or mushrooms, and they were actually really accommodating about it. They cooked our vegetables separately in the back so they wouldn't get mixed with the mushrooms, and kept the shrimp on the other side of the grill from our chicken so we didn't have to deal with the seafood flavors. I really appreciated that! My daughter got the fried rice and watching the chef make everything was so much fun. Our chef was really nice, entertaining and clearly knew what he was doing. We did tell them we didn't like shrimp, so they didn't do the whole throwing-shrimp-in-your-mouth thing with anyone at our table. I'll admit, that was a little disappointing because we watched them do it for other tables and it looked hilarious! I kind of wish they would've asked if we wanted the other people at our table to participate anyway. There was also a birthday celebration while we were there, and the staff came out with a cute little song and dance and a treat. The birthday girl looked so happy! Overall, we had a blast. The food was amazing, everyone was friendly, and it was just a really fun experience. We'll definitely be back, and next time I want to bring friends and do dinner.
