Parking was easy on a side street and got lucky it wasn't crowded inside. The service was great told them we had a performance we were going to in an hour and they had us in and out in 45 minutes or less. Seems like they do a lot of take out but there are a couple tables in the small dining area. As for the sushi it was fantastic Presented beautifully and tasting even better. This is a cozy place. The owner is really nice and accommodating. We ordered baked green mussels and cucumber salad to start. For our mains we got the philly roll, lobster roll, and scallop roll. Green Mussels- The mussels were fresh and baked in a mayo sauce, finished with eel sauce. Savory with a slightly sweet finish. Cucumber Salad- This dish makes a lovely palate cleanser. It is zesty, with a light crunch to the cucumbers that give it a layer of texture. Philly Roll- The fish was fresh and meaty. The cream cheese filling and avocado gives each bite a lovely creaminess. Lobster Roll- Crawfish pieces were fried until crisp but slightly chewy inside. The sauce is rich with a slightly sweet finish. Scallop Roll- Scallops are nice and tender. I don't make reviews often, but Koco sushi deserves to be known. I personally enjoy the angels roll or the riceless samba roll. The staff here are very friendly, giving returning customers small treats. All in all, I enjoy coming back here with my best friend on the weekends to enjoy a nice meal while listening to nice music. read more

I've been here several times since it's close to work. My go-to is the Bento Box since it's filling and you can mix and match. Every box comes with rice, salad, miso and 2-3 choices for about $14+. You have your choice of teriyaki salmon, chicken, beef or various simple sushi rolls and such. The lady at the register is nice. For Santa Ana sushi this was surprisingly better than expected. I need to try some of the specialty rolls next. The inside is clean and colorful and it gets pretty busy at lunch. read more

Sushi is fresh and delicious. It's close to my office where I work so we love walking here to get lunch. We all talk about how they're a good sushi spot. If you sign up for their emails they will send 10% off occasionally. I've tried several of their rolls and they're so good, anniversary my favorite is the Lol be e Roll. The servings were generous. With this I got two plastic pouches of soy sauce. It wasn't enough for me. I also don't like those pouches since you have to be careful they don't squirt or drip. I'd rather have a plastic cup with f soy sauce. In addition I would prefer to have the option of low-sodium soy sauce.
