This is a cozy place. The owner is really nice and accommodating. We ordered baked green mussels and cucumber salad to start. For our mains we got the philly roll, lobster roll, and scallop roll. Green Mussels- The mussels were fresh and baked in a mayo sauce, finished with eel sauce. Savory with a slightly sweet finish. Cucumber Salad- This dish makes a lovely palate cleanser. It is zesty, with a light crunch to the cucumbers that give it a layer of texture. Philly Roll- The fish was fresh and meaty. The cream cheese filling and avocado gives each bite a lovely creaminess. Lobster Roll- Crawfish pieces were fried until crisp but slightly chewy inside. The sauce is rich with a slightly sweet finish. Scallop Roll- Scallops are nice and tender. You get it mixed with a generous amount of crab and topped over california rolls. Great experience overall!

Enjoyed the miso soup, sushi and rolls. Nicely presented. Great service. They were attentive and kept my water glass full. My brother liked his mango Boba. Ambiance is simple. Nothing fancy. The restaurant is clean. Good food. Good service.

Highly recommend checking out Koco sushi! Their extensive selection of creative rolls is amazing. We kept ordering more and more because everything was so great and hit the spot. Highly recommend trying out the playboy roll and seared salmon! I believe the owner and her son served us and they were both super sweet and attentive. Love supporting a family owned business that serves up amazing quality and service!

Shoutout to the owners, they're very welcoming and friendly. I love coming here close to my house and work small restaurant but worth the wait very clean and always playing music. They are close Monday's and lunch hours they get full so prepare yourself parking wise is an issue but that's about it Amazing food hands down best sushi place in downtown..

It was sooo hard finding a sushi party platter in Orange county until I saw this place on yelp! The quality and quantity is reasonable for a party platter I got the tray d which come combine with tray c for $130 i believe. It was good and fresh. The service was so nice and friendly. The place was clean and didn't smell like fish haha. The parking is kind of hard you would have to find stret parking but its a cute hole in the wall. The street over has meter. Def going to order again from here.

The food is always extremely tasty, there are never any leftovers when we come to this restaurant. The service is quick and ambiance is always pleasant. You can tell that the store owners have been running this place for a while as they're a well oiled machine. My fav item is usually the standard spicy ramen + a sushi side combo, which is just an awesome deal. Would always be willing to come back, great vibes, tasty food and reasonably priced!

    Hot Night (8 pcs)

Nice hole in the wall place to stop by from Disneyland on the way to the SNA airport. It seems to be a Korean+Japanese fusion menu. Enjoyed the hot night roll, tteokbokki, and Jun roll. Street parking on the side of the building and would definitely go back for a quick sushi fix. Quick service with friendly staff members. Didn't have to ask for refill in water or wait long for the food.

This place is so consistent and delicious. They have a wide variety of rolls and sushi options and options for people who don't like fish or raw seafood. I personally love the Santa Ana roll and the unagi have also ordered the salmon skin roll and salad both are delicious as well the albacore roll is awesome too. The service here is the best sense of friendly place easy parking my new favorite sushi spot.

    Catering party Tray Sushi

The Fresh assorted sushi, tasty crunchy roll, tiger rolls, teriyaki chicken, chicken karaage & salads are beautifully prepared with flowers and entertained all of our office staff! They're ready for another sushi lunch for another event. Great food!

The fish was so fresh, service was fast and attentive, music was good, and the vibe was very enjoyable. Spicy tuna crispy rice: other than our favorite sushi place that sadly closed, this one was the best we've ever had. The crispy rice patty is fairly flat, which is way better and offers far superior crunch than the thick ones. "New style" salmon sashimi with white truffle: delightful. Salmon nigiri: we didn't think it could be this much better than other places. But it was. Seared escolar: I hadn't seen this on a menu in years and got really excited. It was just as incredible as I remembered. Absolutely amazing. Nevada Roll and Red Crunchy Roll: excellent. Perfect tempura flakes and perfect eel sauce. Even my daughter's humble cucumber roll was the best one we've seen in OC. It was very generous with the cucumber. We are thrilled we found this place and will definitely be back!

This place nickel and dimes customers for everything. We were charged $6 just to add cucumber to a roll, $4 to add gobo, and even an extra charge to add lemon. The biggest issue wasn't even the prices, it was that our waiter never mentioned any of these upcharges when we ordered. If you're going to charge premium prices for simple additions, customers deserve to be told beforehand. We've eaten at countless sushi restaurants over the years, and we've never been charged these kinds of fees for basic add-ons, especially without any warning. It felt deceptive and left a terrible impression. Restaurants don't lose customers over a few dollars. They lose them when customers feel misled. Transparent pricing builds trust. Hidden charges destroy it. We won't be coming back, and unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an honest dining experience.

We started with the seaweed salad and yakitori, which were both tasty and made great appetizers. As nigiri lovers, we were excited to try all the different selections. My favorites were definitely the toro and yellowtail, and the uni was sweet and delicious! One thing I really appreciated was the fish-to-rice ratio. The nigiri had a small amount of rice, so you could really enjoy the fish without feeling too full too quickly. The fresh rolls were also yummy, with a good amount of fish and nicely balanced seasoning. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for good AYCE sushi at a great price. The staff were also super kind and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable! What we ordered: -Seaweed Salad -Yakitori -Nigiri (tuna, toro, salmon, salmon belly, sweet shrimp, scallop, yellowtail, albacore, uni, salmon egg) -Pepper Me Crazy (in: spicy tuna, cucumber, top: yellowtail, jalapeno, sauce: mustard, hot sauce) -Salmon In & Out (in: spicy salmon, cucumber, jalapeno, top: salmon, jalapeno, sauce: spicy mustard, hot sauce) -Kaboom (in: spicy tuna, cucumber, jalapenos, top: albacore, jalapenos, green onions, sauce: garlic ponzu, hot sauce) -Tuna & Salmon Temaki (hand rolls)

I invited a couple friends and made them come right when they opened so we could properly attack this menu lol. There are different tiers, and we went with **Premium** because that's where you get the nigiri, carpaccio, sashimi and some of the higher-end items. Some premium items like bluefin toro, uni and sweet shrimp are limited to one per person, but there's still A LOT you can order. And we ordered a lot. We tried the tuna, salmon, yellowtail, albacore and octopus carpaccios. They were okay across the board. Nothing bad, but none of them really stood out either. The menu can be a little confusing. Some things are ordered through the QR code, miso soup you have to ask for separately, and there are a bunch of rules and different sections to figure out. I did appreciate that some rolls are available as four pieces instead of committing to eight. I'm not a huge roll person anyway, and the rolls were probably one of the weaker parts for me. My nostalgic order is always a Philly roll because I love cream cheese, and there was barely any cream cheese in it. They also use mustard-based sauces on several things, and as someone who HATES mustard... why are we doing this? Where I'd focus next time is the **nigiri and simpler items**. We tried a ton of those along with salmon belly, baked mussels, crispy tuna, udon, miso and more. The salmon belly was way fattier and larger than I expected -- more like an actual grilled belly portion than sushi -- so ordering three was definitely our mistake. We were cutting fat off trying to survive by the end lol. One thing I wish they did better was tell us what they were dropping off. We ordered so much that when plates started coming out, we couldn't always tell what was what. Service itself was attentive, but food came out at an interesting pace. We'd think we were almost done and then suddenly another wave would appear. Afterward I calculated what everything would've cost à la carte, and **we absolutely got our money's worth** with Premium. Would I come back? Probably. I'd order completely differently now that I understand the menu -- less experimenting with all the sauced items and rolls, and more stacking up the nigiri and things I actually liked. There's definitely value here; you just have to learn how to work the menu.

Despite the staff's claim that the restaurant was extremely busy, we observed that it was only approximately 50% full at 4:30 PM, and our order had been submitted at 4:10 PM. We were initially informed that we would need to wait 10 minutes by a female staff member, but upon calling again at 4:40 PM, we were told to wait an additional 10 minutes by that same female staff member, at this point the restaurant appeared to be at full capacity. I'm not sure if everyone was dining in or waiting for their to go order. The service we received was unsatisfactory, as my family was ignored and subjected to rude remarks under the breath of one of the female staff members, who said, "Take me outta here." This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the level of service one would expect when paying for an expensive meal. I am not dining here for free... and the staff acts like they are paying out of their own pocket to buy me a meal. Furthermore, when my daughters went inside the restaurant a second time, they were informed of the extended wait time. The sushi we received was poorly assembled and had wasabi all over the rolls. My daughter doesn't like wasabi on her rolls and raku sushi has never done that before. Typically there's a barrier between the food and wasabi like a green leaf. This seemed to be an act of retaliation for our complaints. Additionally, I was hung up on the phone during a follow-up call by an employee named nick, which is highly unprofessional. Kevin was kind enough to take my message and give my request to upper management. This incident is not isolated, as I have experienced similar issues in the past, although they were not as severe when I was the one waiting alone. However, the treatment my family received was unacceptable, and I am left questioning why our presence was deemed a burden on wait staff during a period of supposed busyness. customers should receive respect NO MATTER HOW "BUSY" THE RESTAURANT IS. I hope people stop coming here until management recognizes an issue with their wait staff.
