Friendly staff! Food was super yummy. Seating can get limited and crazy since it's in the Bristol Swap Meet building. Give it a try if you're in the area!!

If you are looking for a super casual and affordable Korean spot then this is it. It is located as the first food spot on the right right when you walk into the food mall. They are known for their black bean noodles, korean style ramen, and rice plates. But I came for their Cham cheese dog. I came here with one other person and we shared their black bean noodles and the cheese dog. Both were delicious. The black bean noodles was a large serving. The noodles were delicious and the black bean sauce was very flavorful. I like that the ratio of sauce to noodles was just right. There was even chunks of meat in the sauce. The Cham cheese dog was okay. I wish they would ask if I would prefer to not have sugar on my cheese dog instead of just putting it on. However, they didn't put a lot and it was good. Also, I wish the cheese was more cheesy and melted but I appreciate it didn't burn me. We enjoyed both items here. I think the noodles were under $15 and the cheese dog was $4. They do not take card if you spend less than $20. You order at the register and they call your name when it is ready. Since it is located in a food mall the sitting situation is communal. The staff was nice and helpful. The food came out pretty quick. I do want to come back and try their soup items.

Hours could be indicated as it was closed today on Tuesday at almost 5pm. I had a great time last time and wanted to stop by again, especially today. Will try again another time.

I had been craving for Tteokboki (spicy rice cake) and Jjajamyun (black bean noodles) for quite some time, so I was so glad I stumbled across Cham Korean Food to help satisfy that craving! I made the mistake of not calling in ahead of time for a to-go order so it took about 25 minutes for our food to be made as they make it to order, but we went with the Tteokboki ($6.99), Jjajamyun ($8.99) and the Kimchi Fried Rice ($8.99). The food came out piping hot and I really enjoyed the spicy red chili paste sauce of the Tteokboki! Don't judge me, but there were times where I was just drinking the sauce by the spoonful because I liked it so much. The Jjajamyun noodles stayed warm during the 25 minute drive home and also hit the spot. While not bad, I'd probably pass on the Kimchi Fried Rice next time as it wasn't very flavorful especially in comparison to the other two dishes. The portion sizes for the price are also very reasonable. Even though the wait was a bit longer than expected, I really appreciated the kind service of the woman preparing our food. She was so sweet! Cham is located in the Bristol Food Court, so if you come here, don't expect much for ambience, and it's a bit inconvenient to drive to since it's not very close to any freeways, but it was still nice to try!

I was really craving something warm so why not some Korean comfort food? Cham Korean Food is located in a busy food court that had tons of parking (thank god). Since they do make their food fresh to order, I did end up waiting a while for my food. Maybe about 30 minutes, so try to call in and order ahead. However, service was super nice so I didn't mind waiting at all! I ordered the spam musubi and mild tofu soup and the serving size was HUGE. I ate the soup for three meals in a row because it was so much, definitely meant to share. I've always preferred kimchi soup over tofu soup but this soup was SO GOOD. It had a super flavorful seafood and pork broth and was filled with goodies like squid, mussels, clams, pork, tofu, and mushrooms. This definitely warms you up on a cold day. The spam musubi was also a big size. It was two large musubis cut into halves but it felt like eating 4 musubis since it was so filling! They provide two sauces to dip in which only makes it better. Amazing Korean food, I can't wait to come back and try their black bean noodles or tteokboki! Definitely coming here if you're craving authentic Korean food.

Cham is aight: has the feel of a family restaurant isolated in the busy Bristol Food Court. It's a Korean comfort "fast" food you'll only find if you actively seek it out, because finding this place was a pain. Located in the middle of Santa Ana, the traffic getting there is pretty bad, and if you want it it's also pretty slow upon ordering too. They take about 30 minutes when you order up at the front, so personally I probably would recommend ordering over the phone next time. Food was being made to order, which is a plus. I got their Jjongppong (spicy seafood noodles), their fried hot dog, and the Korean toast (has egg, chicken). Jjongppong: 4/5 It's good, and I have to mention that they give you so much noodles that they barely fit in the container. It's given as a soup and noodles separately, so I think I was supposed to to only put a part of the noodles and not the whole thing because they gave sooooo much noodles. That being said, for the price it's pretty good. The spice was subtle and not overwhelming, the soup was creamy and heavy, and the clams were decently portioned. Solid seafood at a decent price. Fried mozzarella Hot dog: 4.5/5 Definitely the best part, was superior to the one that you'd get at Chunchuns in Irvine. It was crunchy, cheesy, and they actually have good breading. The dough was great, honestly can't really think of anything negative about it. Korean Toast: 3.5/5 I have to say this was my least favorite of the 3, but as a breakfast item it's okay. I've never had Korean toast before, but it's basically a chicken and egg sandwich with scallions, but without any crunch. Personally, it's too soft and wet for me IMO, but this was because I waited 30 minutes to eat it, so it may have lost its crunch. However, their Korean hot dog was crunchy so I think it's meant to be like that. All of these items are fairly heavy and are decent overall. If you have the time and want to support a family owned business, Cham is an option for that.

Awesome korean fast food in the Bristol food court that serves everything from Koran rice dogs, bbq plates, black bean noodles, kimchi fried rice, and the list goes on! Oh! And they even have fried Oreos, and yea we tried them and I don't regret it. This food court is a somewhat narrow alley that has Mexican and Chinese food vendors. Upon entering they take your temperature. I ordered at the counter and it took about 25 minutes to make our order. We got 2 excellent sized cheese and sausage dogs, a kalbi plate and the Oreos. The rice dogs were delicious, the kalbi very tasty, and the Oreos surprisingly excellent, they're bartered in the rice donut batter. Like one, delicious. Very casual vendor with pretty good food! If you're looking for a place with where you can order to go this is a great place. Friendly service too.

This place is located in the bustling plaza of Bristol Food Court. The service was quite fast, as there was only two people working at the entire restaurant. I went here once before. The first time I ordered black bean noodles, and they were really tasty. Today, I ordered tteokbokki and it was sooooo good. Like maybe I was just hungry at the time, but it was really tasty and the rice cakes were just the right spicy level and chewy. It was so good I forgot to take a photo of it. The overall food court is busy and it might be hard to find a seat during lunch hour. Overall, this place is a really good Korean joint that is rare to find in Santa Ana.

Oh man I am so glad I found this place. Located in practically the heart of Santa Ana, minutes away from DTSA is a very unbeknownst Korean establishment run by an older Korean couple (prolly not brother/sister, but it's a guy and girl haha). Normally, I go to Irvine or GG for korean food. Santa Ana is prolly one of the last places I'd frequent for one of my fav cuisines, but they do it so well here. An order of jjampong (spicy seafood soup) and soondobu (I got the seafood tofu soup) equated to $21. When I came by 30m later, I was met with a large box prolly weighing at least 3 lbs, everything was packaged separately so the noodles/rice didn't get soggy. Upon entry in this indoor swap meet, someone will take your temperature so there's some reassurance there. Both employees had masks on. Service was friendly as when I was paying, the lady in the back greeted me as she was making corn dogs. It was nice to watch her with such precision and intent as she wrapped the sticky batter onto the dog, snipping off the excess. Way cheaper than the other places at only $3.5/dog! This place didn't serve any banchan, but those weren't necessary as the flavors of both broths were crazy good. The tofu soup was like a lighter version of the jjampong, and the jjampong was our clear favorite. The broth for both dishes are very rich and the flavor was nice and clean. Both dishes had an assortment of seafood and will leave your tummy feeling very warm and happy. When I asked for spicy, it left my lips feeling a bit of heat, so I definitely like that. Also, they don't skimp on portions as each bowl was filled to the brim. Everytime I take a break to do some work and then come back and eat, I'm utterly astounded by the broth. It packs quite a punch, every swallow is met with elation. Will be on the biweekly rotation. I really hope this place survives as they have great food. :) See you next time!

Jjampong & jjajjangmyun to go! It was delicious & ready in 20.

So glad to have a Jjampong & Jjajjangmyun spot in Santa Ana! It was easy to place an order over the phone and the food was ready in 20 minutes (which was what I needed to warm up my car and drive over anyway). There were plenty of parking spots, no wait at the counter and the food was ready when I got there as well. The Jjampong and Jjajjangmyun stayed piping hot during my drive home. The noodles were packed separately and got a little cold but that didn't matter. I was worried the little container of Jjajjang wouldn't be enough but I was wrong! Both entrees were delicious and flavorful and I can't wait to order from there again.

Was in search of Korean fried chicken when this spot popped up. When we arrived and checked out the menu, looked too good not it try other options as well. Got the sweet and spicy fried chicken, seafood jjamppong, spam musubis and cheese tteokbokki. Everything was amazing with great seasoning. The ingredients were fresh, and had some of the best food I've had in a while. The restaurant is located inside of a food court, and is run by a friendly Korean-American couple. Highly recommend this spot, will be coming back often!

It's embarrassing enough to come alone, it's even worse when you're called out in front of people inside of the restaurant while there are only 3 people waiting outside. When I got seated she didn't even give me a menu and asked me what I wanted. Lucky for her i'm Korean and was already a repeat customer from the early days so I was able to order right away-otherwise how could I order?
