Found this place on Yelp while searching for a teppanyaki spot nearby to celebrate my birthday with friends, and I'm glad it popped up. Making reservations for a party of 16 was a breeze. I just followed the instructions on their Yelp page and texted the number--they were super responsive and made the whole process seamless. Also, 16 ended up being the perfect number since it fit exactly across two grills. My guests had a great time, and both chefs were entertaining, which really added to the experience. As for the food, it was good, but I've definitely had better teppanyaki compared to a spot I tried in Vegas. That said, everything was still enjoyable, and no major complaints. Overall, I'd still come back. The experience was fun, the service was smooth, and the pricing felt reasonable for what you get. read more

Found this place on here and decided to come out for a weekday dinner. We made a reservation and were able to be seated early which was great. Parking out front, could see it getting hectic when it is busy on the weekends. Our chef was a delight, really felt the energy and was super engaging. He threw rice for us to watch in our mouth, first try by the way. Food was delicious as well, I got the shrimp and salmon which were both delicious. They were cooked to perfection and seasoned generously. Fried rice was great as well, always worth the upgrade from regular rice. Veggies were delicious as well, one of the few times that veggies taste just as good as the entree. Really solid meal overall and decently priced. You asked what could've improved?... How about not having customers waiting an hour before a chef comes to our table?! There was no compensation and/or acknowledgment from whatever management - Saturday night. Apparently all management was at a wedding. Knowing we had senior sitting on the table, waiting to eat. On a whim, we decided to come here for Mothers' Day. When we called for a reservation, they were full until 8pm, but they were kind enough to fit us in at 4. Imagine Benihana, but not corporate, MUCH better food, and attentive, friendly staff. Our server, Anthony, was attentive but not hovering, and our chef, Chris, was funny and entertaining, and managed the food preferences and allergies at our table perfectly! I usually go to teppanyaki for a celebratory family occasion but went with a friend and still had a wonderful meal! Service was great and our chef delivered a very fun (and delicious) performance for our table - we both got the New York steak, which was cooked well and actually had a decent portion, and ordered the fried rice - I had been personally craving fried rice for a while and it absolutely hit the spot. It had that slight saltiness of the soy sauce complementing the vegetables, egg, and grilled shrimp in a savory buttery glaze, which was 10/10. Even the starter mushroom soup was already so good. The total ended up around $50 for each of us, so it's not the cheapest meal to get, but I'd say it's worth the price and the experience :) read more

Update: Owner responded back about our separate checks, we didn't mind paying in one check but it was offered so we were ok let's do it. Second, we knew ahead of time that they shared tips as there is signs everywhere, we tipped the chef cash and some of us left a tip on the bill with our cards. So if you total both we left a gracious tip. We all worked in the food service industry before and know how important tipping is. So please next time don't use that as an excuse and write something that is not true. Also, other tables were getting excellent service and received their appetizers and refills in a timely manner even though they had big groups like ours. Thanks. We visited on Father's Day. We knew it'd be busy ahead of time so made a reservation 3weeks ahead. Pros: We got sat right away and our chef was amazing. We enjoyed the food and his show. Cons: Our waiter was not very attentive. I understand it was busy but when you see she's focused more on one table and that every other table was constantly getting refills and their appetizers while we sat and waited more than 30 min to get a refill it's a problem. We had to flag someone down for refills. Next our appetizers never showed and our chef was almost done cooking our meal so we had to flag someone down and ask, while other tables had gotten their appetizers before the chef even arrived (keep in mind these tables arrived after us). We had more help from the bus boy and bartender than our actual waiter which we really didn't interact with until the check came or when we flagged her down. read more

Everyone can order something delicious that they enjoy. The reservations are convenient and they confirm ahead of time. This review is so long overdue! We have been going to Koki's for years! It's a super fun place to dine. The food is absolutely amazing and servers are all so sweet with unbelievable chefs. It's rare going to a place where you feel like family. They definitely have the special sauce where the owners know who you are and are so gracious, hospitable and thankful that you are dining at Koki's. If you're going there for your birthday, they make it extra special. You get a hat, jingle song and a picture. Tonight was a bit different for us. We wanted to stay home, chill, not cook yet have an amazing meal...so we ordered Koki's to go! It was the same amazing food with all the sauces and all the big portions so highly recommend dining in or if you feel like chilling then order it to go. We had the dinner special which offers beef onion soup, salad, shrimp appetizers, choice of meat and rice (or fried rice as an upgrade) FOOD Beef Onion Soup Not bad as a small soup. Pretty straight to the points in what it is, contains some mushrooms but has a nice taste to it. House Salad Nice refresher to get things started before the main entree arrives. 7 Piece Gyoza These were delicious, the sauce just added more to it! There's a peanut sauce that they had, HIGHLY recommend dipping your gyoza into that! Shrimp Appetizer Enjoyable and prepared with entertainment. From what I remember these were pretty decent sized shrimp! Fried Rice We opted in for the fried rice and I'm glad we did. I've always been a fried rice guy and highly recommend this if you're even thinking about it. Filet Mignon Quite delicious, cooked to perfection! I'm glad I selected this as my choice of meat. OVERALL It was a great birthday dinner and everyone at our table seem to be enjoying themselves! Friendly staff, very entertained and left full. had a reservation on a friday night and it took ~15 minutes to get seated which is reasonable considering they were very busy! the restaurant is also a lot larger than it looks from the lobby as it goes fairly deep in. definitely recommend making a reservation as there looked to be a long line of people waiting. the service was so great. they have free drink refills and we never had to ask once for our drinks to be topped up - the servers seemed super on top of it. our chef was also AMAZING - his name was John and he was so funny and personable. as for the food, i didn't think it was amazing and def feel like there is better tasting hibachi at other places i've tried. BUT they do give a pretty decent portion. my fiance and i ordered the land & sea special dinner for 2 which was $95 and it was a really good portion size. we both had to take home leftovers. that said, i think this place is worth a try for anyone craving hibachi since tbh there aren't many hibachi places in the area surprisingly. read more

Made a reservation for Saturday evening at 6pm for 14 guests. The restaurant made sure to inform me via text that they would love to accommodate our large group but would need to move us to 6:30pm. I thought it was very great of them to do this, especially when it was last minute reservations. The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly! They do ask that your entire party arrive so we can be seated and so the chefs could start their presentation. I honestly wish I would have taken the time to take pics of our meal and the experience-but honestly it felt awesome being able to enjoy the dinner with our family. The entire experience was amazing. They had our groups laughing and interacting with the chefs. Now the most important thing to remember and keep in mind is that the food tasted delicious!!! Everyone in our group agreed it was such a tasty meal and very fun experience. I will probably never set foot at Benihana again. Always a great time. Never had a bad experience here I had the filet mignon and my girlfriend had th scallops and chicken.

I initially had an1 star review because it took 30 minutes to be seated and 43 minutes total to even get a menu after having a 7 pm reservation for our family. I changed it to a 4 star review because the food is amazing and so was our chef. It would be a 5 star given our chef if the service and having to wait to be seated, or even a glass of water, wasn't so awful. read more

But for every little thing it was an extra charge (even for those who were sharing). The food is subpar and not super tasty, don't get the sauces they are atrocious! Butter butter and more butter! Came here to celebrate my brother's bday with the fam. It's loud, chefs have lots of tricks, and did I mention they cook with a lot of butter? The food was cooked well and they did the steaks up the way we requested. Sauces and everything else are standard and tasted great. Fried rice was very flavorful (butter). Service was great. They refilled drinks and was there enough to check in on us from time to time. They have a bday package where you pay extra for a photo and a dessert with a song. This was the only difference since other similar establishments do this for free. My bro got a cool looking origami bday hat though. Overall a great meal. The ceilings are high and the suckers work well enough where you don't walk out smelling like the food you ate. read more

This was actually a last minute find! As our reservation at Benihanas fell through. & I'm glad it did because this place was amazing! We had a Valentines dinner with all of our kids and their significant other & it was so much fun. Our chef was amazing & his tricks were fun! Everyone got the chance to catch some rice with their mouths, it was hilarious! The food was delicious and we were all so stuffed! Tina was our waitress & she was the sweetest!
