Not too bad, in my personal opinion, but I'd probably REALLY want to crave buffet food to come back. We came on a Friday night and saw the dining room mysteriously empty. You see, I've been here in the past, wayy before COVID, so I remember these buffets filling up quite a bit. We got our table near the center, and our drinks right away. I walked around the buffet for a minute, and saw that things weren't quite getting refilled that quickly? The sushi chef was cranking it out though, so props. Some of the food highlights were definitely the sushi, which was pretty fresh and got turned around rather quickly. There were great California rolls, and even some tempura rolls that I suspected were older sushi. The Mongolian grill was great, and had a nice assortment of veggies, can't ever go wrong with And the ice cream had a great selection of flavors for the buffet price. Some of the other food was not great, as the chinese food options were a little dry, some things were not being put out that quick, and the dessert selection was very sad. I'm not sure why this place received so many bad reviews. I came here to eat lunch for the first time and was amazed by the great price and food! My absolute favorite is the bbq isle. The pork is sooooooo good!! They even have shrimp that was fresh as well. You pick what you want and there is a person there that will cook it for you. Of course like a typical buffet they have all sort of food and desert! They have 8 different flavor of ice cream to pick from and all were so delicious!! We went here for lunch after a long hike. Needless to say we were ravenous. I really liked this place. They served a lot of different foods including sushi. They even had a Mongolian grill where a cook made fresh Mongolian bbq! The place was clean and well decorated. The price was very reasonable. Komi buffet lives up to its 2.5 stars overall on Yelp. Came here with a large party and our seating area was reserved and clean. The waiters came by often to take plates and refill drinks. The buffet area was very underwhelming and only a small portion of the overall restaurant. There's a selection of Asian food including hot items like orange chicken, teri chicken, beef and broc, and other things liked baked salmon and fried chicken. There's a sushi area with salmon and yellowtail nigiri, CA rolls and other choices. I ate some and survived but eat at your own risk. Terrible buffet. Sunday all day dinner price and you have sliced mackerel and slimey salmon as your sashimi selection. Sushi was crappy. Fried stuff all looked weird with odd white spots on it. The food here was of low quality. Everything looked dry like it had been sitting there all day. The best thing was the ice cream, sadly everything else was not great. We were disappointed, should have gone to the Kbbq a few doors down. The big groups waiting outside the Kbbq was telling, with no wait at Komi... there were 2 waitresses working and we had plates stacked 4-5 deep before someone came to clear it. I tried almost everything, like three-quarters of what they have to offer. The salmon sashimi was fresher than I had expected. The servers were quick to clear our plates and consistently served us water throughout our meal. They offer a good variety considering the price of a buffet; it was worth it. For background, I have been invited to some of the finest and most famous Chinese restaurants in Beijing, Shanghai, ShenZhen, Hong Kong, also places that serve live snakes and turtles ect I have also dined at renown restaurants all over the world. Went to a few local Chinese buffets for lunch, and Komi still serves the freshest, tastiest, wholesome food, much better compared to other local buffets like Asia, East, Santa ect. The chef here really knows how to make good, wholesome, tasty food, compared to the other buffets. I was very impressed with his grilled chicken, done just right, juicy, full of chicken taste and aromas, texture just right with crispy skin, with just a hint of spices, not overpowering. Authentic Peking roast duck may be fattier but not much better. Unlike the other buffets, all Komi's dishes are just right, fresh, crunchy, tasty, not loaded with sugar, salt, MSG and various spices. To me almost every dish here is worth eating. Then their prices are about 20% lower than competitors. We always leave them good tips for working hard in this tough environment. read more

I've visited Komi a couple times for their weekday lunch. The price is good at $13.99 w/o drinks. The food is usually pretty fresh. There is not a lot of variety and the sushi section is limited. I would like sashimi but none available. I just throw away the rice and eat the fish. Also, everything gets cold by the time you get back to your table. The teppanyaki station always takes forever. Unfortunately, My wife, daughter and I went to this buffet and the food is old. I spoke to four of their team members since arriving that the food is old. The food has been reheated many times and left out for hours. We arrived middle of the day and there wasn't even enough food. We asked for more food to be cooked. They did not respond. We paid full price upon leaving and let both the ladies know our concerns. They ignored and did not often offer us a partial refund.
