Sweet potato corn dog is the best ! strawberry lemonade from here is so delicious too

I pass by Kong Dog every weekend, and I keep telling myself I'll eventually try a Korean style corn dog. Well, today is the day. My partner ordered one for me to go, and this is definitely the kind of meal that you'd want to dine in for especially if cheese is your filling so you can get that cheese pull. I ended up trying their hot cheeto Kong dog with a cheese filling. I was initially skeptical because I've never liked the American corn dogs, and I don't love hot dogs like that. This is definitely game changing and not what I expected in a good way. It's crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and I love that it's not just hot Cheeto dust, they actually have pieces of Flamin hot Cheetos in it. I love that I was able to pick cheese as the filling instead of beef, or half cheese and beef. The packaging was also really neat, so I didn't make a mess, and if it's so good as a take out. I can only imagine dining in there. They're always busy, they have self check out kiosks as well as a staff member behind the counter. She was really friendly and was able to locate my order right away. I was in and out really quickly. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for Korean style corn dogs, it's definitely worth the hype, and you'll have to come see for yourself. There's a free parking lot but shared with all of the other businesses in this strip, so it's first come first serve and can be a hot mess. That's why I prefer to grab and go. read more

Definitely recommend you give this place a try if you're in Chinatown. We went when it wasn't extremely busy thankfully and were able to order quickly. There are two options for ordering you can either order with the cashier or the quicker option is to order through their electronic kiosk. They have multiple corndog options as well as a multitude of specialty drinks to choose from. I opted to try out the hot flaming corndog as well as the potato corn dog and I also tried the sweet heat Dorito corndog and of the three the hot flaming one was my favorite. The hot flaming corn dog has such a nice balance of flavors between the signature taste of hot flaming's (not spicy) and the slightly sweet taste of the sugar that goes on top. You can choose between an all cheese dog, all beef or half cheese and a half beef. The potato corn dog left a lot to be desired, I felt that it just tasted like someone took corn dog batter with no flavor and threw diced potatoes on top, I feel like you need a salt or some other seasoning so that it didn't taste so bland. The sweet heat Dorito corn dog was also a nice flavor profile it reminds you of sweet chili Doritos and definitely was my second favorite. They also have the traditional corn dog which has the light sugar dusting, I didn't try it but I was told it was a popular option. For the drinks I tried both their mango and strawberry smoothies and while the mango one was tasty it tasted like a small amount of mango blend it with milk whereas the strawberry one I could literally taste the fresh strawberries on the inside. I also tried their strawberry Matcha drink which was really tasty however I definitely recommend you stir before drinking because all of the flavor is at the bottom along with the Boba so the top of the drink has no flavor whatsoever. My total price for 3 corndogs and 3 drinks was $45 so it's definitely not the most reasonable option for food I would consider to be a "snack". If you plan to just get a corn dog and a drink you'll probably spend around $16 or so. Overall the corn dogs were really good, I don't think I would drive this far away from my house to try them again but thankfully they have over 20 new locations set to open up with three of them being close to me. The staff here was really nice and welcoming though so they get a 10 out of 10 for service. Definitely give them a try if you've been wanting to experience a Korean Corn Dog! read more

We ordered the potato and sweet chili dorito korn dogs (half beef/half mozzarella) and they were decent. Good flavor and texture. I prefer the korn dog with toppings and they weren't stingy with the toppings (yay!). We got some sweet chilli and spicy mayo sauce to go with the korn dogs, the spicy mayo was hitting! Now the milk tea....could've been better. We got the brown sugar boba milk tea- was okayyy. And we also got the Japanese matcha latte which I really enjoyed! Me and my little sister both experienced this place for the first time today and the experience was great. The atmosphere was nice and calm along with the customers. The workers were very attentive and helpful. The service was very quick and the wait time didn't even seem to be long. The Kong Dog itself was very tasty and actually good. Their fruit pebbles one is delicious but I don't really like the hot Cheetos one because it didn't take like hot Cheetos and it was oily.

Dogs are great- I recommend the cheese over the meat versions. Sweet potato is my fav. The drinks are awful. Flavorless, undersweetened, boba has no texture and maybe has been floating in liquid all day; it just disintegrated. There are two other places in the strip with better options. Drove by a few days ago and seen the crowd of people and was curious. Looked at yelp and seen they had decent reviews. 4.2 stars and the photos looked amazing. Fast forward to today. Place was packed, Togo orders one after another and people waiting for their orders. I ordered a bunch of different king dogs and it was all just meh. The beef inside had absolutely no flavor. Even the toppings were just ok. Nothing jumped out screaming delicious, it was just bland. **** Disclaimer**** I have never had a corn dog before so it could just be me. Sweet potato fries were ok and so were the dumplings. The mango lemonade was good. The employees were slammed with order after order so I'm not going to judge them with the conditions of the tables and under the chairs. The place was not clean at all and that either because they are short staffed or someone isn't doing their job.
