I was craving some Korean food after studying and I found this place. The dining experience of this restaurant was outdoors. I sat down anywhere I wanted and the hostess/server gave me a menu. I ordered the 6 pc garlic soy chicken wings and a mild seafood tofu soup. The chicken wings were extremely flavorful and pretty crispy. As for the soup, I couldn't really eat spicy, so they adjusted it to my tasting without taking the flavor away. I ate here twice. Love this place. The pork bulgogi is awesome. Made to order. I liked it spicy. They recommended the next time to try the same dish with cooked kimchi. I did and loved it. Great suggestion. Large menu so lots of choices to choose from. The owners who serve are very friendly. The place is small so you have to look carefully to find the restaurant. The only thing different from other Korean places is that they do not serve the traditional side dishes that comes with a meal. Only kimchi. But they make it up by giving large portions. read more

I probably never would've entered this tiny hole in the wall restaurant because from the street it is very hidden. A friend of mine recommended it, so I went with my Husband and we were pleasantly surprised. This Korean restaurant is a small outdoor venue, barely noticeable but definitely packs a punch! The menu was larger than anticipated, so we asked the staff, who were friendly and made recommendations for us to try. I ordered the Veggie fried Dumplings and the Beef Bibimbap. The Beef Bibimbap comes with a bowl of white rice, mixed vegetables (Carrots, Onions, Zucchini, Mushrooms) and beef, topped with a fried egg. I opted for the Hot Stone Bowl, which is alittle extra but totally worth it! It arrived sizzling and stayed hot the entire time I ate it. My Husband ordered the Pork DupBap, that was marinated pork with rice and 2 fried vegetable dumplings. We had barely placed our orders, when the food arrived. So very quick service. Im a korean american that wanted to try korean food. Good reviews, yeah right. I dont know why. I ordered their appetizers, dumplings and wings. It was soso. The main course was disappointing. Beef with veges was for my boyfriend and for myself, pork with veges. It had no flavor at all. We were looking foward to a good korean restaurant since we were here from new york. Not happy customers. The reviews said best korean food. I am korean and i do not rate this restaurant as best. Soso not even mediocre. I was disappointed in the flavor of food and on top of it, the korean soju they carried, nari jowha. Not even soju. This little hole in the wall is fantastic. Don't be fooled by the limited outside seating, it's small but worth the wait. We tried the garlic soy wings, mozzarella fish cake, short rib soup, everything ramyun, and the beef bulgogi bi-bim-bap. We were disappointed that two of the desserts we wanted to try were not available which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. It's great that they have pics on the wall of some of their dishes so if you're not familiar with the names on the menu you can see what they are. This is the first Korean restaurant that's close to me. We had a party of 6 and they were really accommodating even though it was a small seating area. Anniece (I don't know if it's wrong) was great. I had the bulgogi over rice with dumplings and kimchi. It was good but wish it was more. My friends had the sweet and spicy chicken wings, the everything ramyon, bulgogi Philly cheesetake beef bulgogi bimpap. It was really good all around. I will recommend. I found this restaurant on Yelp while searching for Korean BBQ options and decided to give it a try. I drove to North Miami, and upon seeing the restaurant from outside, I was hesitant to even step out of the car. The place looked dirty and questionable, not giving a good first impression. But I still decided to check it out. I walked up to the restaurant with my boyfriend and my service dog and noticed a handwritten sign on the door that said, "Service animals not allowed indoors." I proceeded to the outdoor area with my dog. While walking towards the outdoor area, a waiter came out and informed me that we had to sit outside because of my dog. I agreed and went to the outside area, which was enclosed by plastic and had no air circulation ( imagine sitting here in Miami weather at 2 pm) As I was taking in the surroundings, I heard someone ask, "Is he an ESA?" At first, I didn't know if they were talking to me because no one approached me. After a few seconds, I realized the girl at the counter inside the window, facing the outdoor area, was talking about my dog. Assuming she was asking if my dog was a service animal, I replied yes. The woman immediately responded by saying, "Well, he can't be here. Only service animals are allowed." I reiterated that my dog was a service animal. She then responded with a sassy and annoyed tone, "Well, then he's not an ESA then? He's a service animal...okay, you can sit out here" and threw the menus over the counter before closing the window in my face. I was surprised and taken aback by her attitude. At no point were we rude to her, but the minute she gave us attitude, I placed the menus back on the counter and said, "You have a really nasty attitude" before leaving. Where is management? How can they afford to have someone like that working in their establishment? They lost two paying customers in less than a minute because of the poor attitude of their employee. By the way, if you are immediately adding an 18% gratuity on your bills, please make sure the tip is earned. And to the girl who worked at the window on Sunday, October 1st, it may be worthwhile to consider a different career path that doesn't require interacting with people or animals. read more

This is a teeny little place but the Korean chicken wings for everything I had heard that they were. I got to take out because there are not a lot of tables and that was fine. It is a bit pricey for takeout and for chicken wings but I hope to go back and try something different. The service was very good. The young lady was very nice to me. As I said, the setting was plain, so not a lot to say about that. But I would recommend giving them a try at least for the experience of trying something new and different and very flavorful. Back on another adventure local "hole-in-the wall" place in North Miami. It has about 8 tables and it's outside seating. I'm giving this a 4 star because of that, I was sweating my makeup off lol this Florida heat is no joke. What I LOVED about this place is actually Koreans eat here, which is a great sign that the food is authentic and delicious. They had Korean music videos playing on the tv. The server was nice and the food came out quick. Everything was AMAZING. There spicy is actually spicy which was great for me but not my bf. definitely will come back and bring my friends. read more

Sorry i havent had the time to write a long descriptive review so im gonna try to catch up by writing a generic-ish review for a few places, i been traveling so i have tried some great spots thanks to my secret way of reading other fellow reviews. sorry but i do want to give back without getting swamped so here we go. its a kitchen, really, just kitchen, i love it, its so anti miami. you order delicious korean food at the window, bibimpap, sooooo good it comes to your table and you will be happy, soy glazed wings, get them and bring them home, your wife will forgive you for whatever you did! this is as far as i ave found closest to authentic korean kitchen and the 2 girls that work early shift are such a pleasure, even the russian one, hace to see her soon. this place is about food, they dont even have walls, just awning and i still love this, i just usually bring it home until its below 80 degrees, so if you havent yet, shame...shame....shame... read more

It's easy to miss this tiny place if you are not looking for it. The cozy, intimate shop has something like 9 tables (for outside sitting only) which means you might have to wait be sited, especially in the evenings. The food is exquisite beyond words - your mouth will be watering from the moment you arrive and take in the bouquet of aromas. Following the recommendation of our superstar servers, we ordered the Korean seafood pancake and the spicy squid and were NOT disappointed. We could tell the food was prepared with quality ingredients and the utmost care - yet, we were served really quickly! We've been waiting for over a decade for a Korean restaurant to open near us and Korean Kitchen does NOT disappoint. The ambiance is great. Very trendy, small, outdoor seating only. There are Christmas lights all over the ceiling and quirky posters on the walls in between the menus. Just sitting there makes you feel like you're sitting in a hidden gem. The service is phenomenal, run by a husband, who cooks, and wife who serves and manages the front of the house. Most importantly: the food. I've sampled a few things on the menu and everything has been delicious and authentic. The sweet and spicy chicken wings are the best I've had anywhere. Crispy and juicy wings covered in a sauce so good that you'll want to bathe in it. The bibimbap, or rice and veggie bowl as the menu calls it, is really good. Make sure to get it in the hot stone pot and ask for the best way to eat it. The veggies are really well seasoned and when it's mixed with the gochujang (sweet/spicy red pepper sauce), it's an addictive dish. Also, try the Soondubu Jigae, Spicy Seafood Tofu Stew. The broth is well developed, fragrant, delicious, and very filling. I'll definitely be coming back and often! read more

Food was great. Service was horrible. Particularly the girl with the odd colored hair who acted like a female dog. Overpriced. Skimpy on all sauces. I spent $64 on food and asked for an ounce of hot sauce and they wouldn't just give it to me, they charged me $0.54. When I gave them my cared, they said the minimum was $5. WTH is wrong with that weird lady with colored hair. You should be fired. read more
