If you loved Jen Han Korean restaurant in Corona, you will love this place as well! It is the same owner and very similar menu with some additions. The quality of the food is outstanding and made to order the seafood pancake is still the same delicious preparation. The Bonchon is still exceptional. I had the monk fish soup, which was a little bit bland for my taste, but I enjoyed trying it. I still love their kimchi soup. The service was exceptional. We were there late afternoon after lunch but before dinner, typically this time is between servers, but our service was fantastic. The atmosphere of the new restaurant is very comfortable and fresh. The restaurant is somewhat smaller than the old one but feels very comfortable more so than the old one. I am very happy to have it in Riverside. It is closer and easier to get to than off of McKinley. highly recommended if you enjoy real Korean food that is not Korean barbecue. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

Was SO excited to hear that a Korean restaurant had opened nearby and was EVEN MORE hyped that it was the same owners of Jinhan in Corona! The food was as good as before. The decor was gorgeous and the people working there are very attentive and kind. They checked in with us during our time to make sure we enjoyed the food. We got the tteokbokki, stone bibimbop, kimchi jigae, and the tofu soup bibimbap combo. The meal always comes with banchan as well. I really want to try the bossam next time. Finally, a different kind of restaurant in Orangecrest other than pizza and tacos. I have been here twice now and have had the opportunity to try their tofu soup with seafood and one with beef, their spicy pork and bulgogi. Word to the wise on heat levels, if you think a 5 is a medium, it is not. If you can't handle too spicy but like some spice, stick with a level 2 or 3. I tried a level 7 and almost died, but it was great. There are entrances from the front and back and tables for about 2-4 size groups. Not a place for large groups. We're a local family of 4 (two being small kids) and decided to try out the Korean spot because we love the unique flavors and have had a great experience at similar non ACE Korean restaurants. We ordered bulgogi, spicy pork, and Japchae. About $90 dollars for the 3 items. While the food tasted great we were under the impression we could re order the Banchan (small side dishes) throughout our meal. Our server walked away from me mid sentence of asking for more spicy cucumber. I was embarrassed and to be honest a little shocked that a server would walk away mid asking for something. She tried to apologize saying "Sorry we're busy and have to keep moving"... Sad if that's the mentality of servers that they can't even pause to serve you without making you feel bad. Tasty food. I won't say awful service just an awful SERVER we had. Hope they aren't all that way but wouldn't be surprised. No one wants to pay $95 and feel bad afterwards. read more

It's not bad. About 6 plates of bonchon which is normal. We ordered galbigim and the fish family dish, I forget the name. Both were solid. Kimchi pancake was a bit soggy but tasted good. This used to be fu fu's which had interesting seating and this place is interesting as well. Service was good. Very attentive unlike most korean restaurants which have the reputation of bad service. First time in an blown away. When you first wan in you can smell the food and began salivating. The food is great. My friend and I got three entrees to try and share and they were all delicious as well as are all the sides. Price is decent making this an even better place to go. The staff is all friendly. I've been wanting a good Korean spot near me for a long time, especially since I used to live in Rowland Heights. The banchan was good and the restaurant was clean. However, when they asked how spicy I wanted the soondubu, I said very spicy--twice--and there was no heat at all. It honestly tasted like it had no spice whatsoever. came here twice and ordered a few different things. the tofu soup & galbi combo, the soup was small but delicious & the galbi was a good size for the price. we also ordered kimchi fried rice, it lacked flavor honestly, the beef was a nice addition to it tho. we also tried the dumplings, the first time i came they actually seemed handmade but the second time i came (1 day later) they were definitely the frozen bibigo ones. still good but the menu advertises the dumplings as handmade. the chicken wings were whatever, could've been more a little more crunchy, too much sauce and the sauce just honestly wasn't the best, i wouldn't order it again. all the sides were great though. i loved how many they actually had. the place is clean and the service is nice. i'll definitely be back to try out some more of their dishes. read more
