For a food place inside an Asian Market this place was surprisingly better than most restaurants down in SD, it deserves its own place in my opinion. The menu is simple and humble but the flavors packed a serious punch, you can see the cooks really pay attention to detail when making your food, and they are not shy or stingy about the portions either. We got the JiamPpong and wow I never really had one this good before, you can see from my picture the portion is amazing, the soup is just tasty, I can't describe it clearly but has a smokey spicy seafood taste that makes the broth amazing. I couldn't get a picture of the Jajang Myeon coz we just wolfed that thing down, lol... some will say it's too watery I think it's just right (I've had bad ones that were literally drowning I thought it was soup), it really is once you mix it all up. Again the taste is just delish! We wouldn't hesitate coming back. My only gripe is the seating area needs a little bit of work, it's pretty small and the tables/chairs were showing it's age, but then again what would expect, it's inside an Asian market, lol. I have ordered different rolls, takoyaki, rice with squid and stir fried squid upon from Kpop Sushi multiple times. The rolls were decent to satisfy my sushi craving. Although there was a ridiculous amount of oil in the squid dishes every time I ordered, they tasted good. However, it smelled like they used package of Ramen seasoning. read more

This is a hidden gem inside the Zion Market! It's not a big food court but they have all the options you need. We got the udon noodles and soondae ramen (recommended by the cashier)- both were so good! The udon noodles weren't just noodles and broth. They give you a stick of tempura and make it jazzed up with toppings. The soondae ramen was even better! Although my milk was a bit spicy, I'm the broth was so clean and tasty that I wanted more! So many toppings and veggies in the ramen. You can taste the fullness of the broth, even the waitress said the owner boils that broth for hours to make it tasty. All of our food tasted homemade, clean, and balanced. Another plus, they give you free Korean crackers and kept giving my daughter crackers- she loved it! I started going to K-pop a couple months ago when I randomly ran into this little spot inside a grocery store near my office. This selection of specialty rolls is really good and the fish is very fresh and cold and wonderful. The Poke Salad is a steal at 8 or $9 the lettuce and vegetables are extremely fresh and the dressing is very light. The staff is very friendly and they even make me my rolls with brown rice when I request it. Overall I truly do not think you can beat the value of going hair since the roles and Sushi are very inexpensive to compared to any other place in OC and the fish is just as fresh. read more

This place is in the food court inside of Zion Korean market. The service was absolutely amazing. They were very friendly and were helpful while I am trying to make a decision. Offers many options from Korean to sushi to Japanese curry. The food came out fast; portions were large; and was tasty. I had Korean hae-dup-bobb. It was a lot of food. I'm no jjamppong expert - I don't even know how to pronounce it. I do know that the jjamppong I ordered from this place was amazing. Plenty of seafood packed into lip-smacking, savory, lava-red broth... and I slurped up every last drop of it. (they offer a spicy and a mild option - I had spicy) The veggies and seafood were deeply aromatic, and though the noodles looked like a small portion, combined with the oodles of other ingredients, it was a big meal. Review is based on DoorDash Delivery. The prices were reasonable for its quality considering that sushi is expensive. I ordered the California roll, Rainbow Roll, and the spicy sashimi bowl. The California roll tasted like the typical roll. The rainbow roll was alright because I didn't like one type of fish that looked marinated? The spicy sauce for the Sashimi bowl was good. It came with rice and miso soup which was a plus! However, I didn't like one of the fish that was in the sashimi bowl, it had a fishy smell and taste, it was still very noticeable even when mixed with the sauce.
