Tl;dr dry meat, weak electric grill that took forever to cook things, and zero additional sides that other AYCE have as standard (kimchi, etc.) The worst KBBQ I've genuinely ever have had. All of the meat was unmarinated and dry. The all you can eat (AYCE) did not include any sides. Worst of all, the grill was electric, and all of the meat took too long to cook, and wasn't able to get crispy. The beef brisket looks lab grown. I kid you not, our short rib took 15 minutes on high to cook. Worse of all, we sat underneath the AC and it started to drip from the ceilings to OUR FOOD. There was also a staff taking videos of folks in the restaurant without our consent (I get we enter a private establishment, but still ). They also asked to take a picture of your table with their camera, and the person was pushy. Wasn't worth $80 for two people.

First time at this location. Saturday night around 5:30/6 and it was about a 30 minute wait for a table of 3 for kbbq. Huge spot, long bar at the front and the music is pretty good. Food was good, even though you have to cook it yourself. Waitress and others are attentive. Bulgogi is my favorite. Hanger steak was my second fave. The spicy bulgogi was a little salty. Garlic chicken was good but needed something extra but don't worry I made my little sauce at the station in the back. My lychee martini was delicious and strong. I was surprised. Loved the sugar donuts at the small buffet thing in the back.

The wait time took FOREVER. We were told 35 mins and that turned into 2 hours. It was New Years Day--so the restaurant was packed. After getting seated however everything was smooth. Ordering the meats was no issue. I do wish there were more marinated options, but we figured out how to bring some flavors to the meats after a round. The rice was terrible though. Overcooked, dry. No softness or fluff to the grains. I wouldn't say it's the BEST KBBQ out there, but definitely works to satisfy a kbbq craving.

The food was amazing here at Kpot barbecue. I went with my dad and we definitely got our moneys worth. It was $33 per person for all you can eat barbecue with a two hour time limit. This was plenty of time for us to try the whole menu. My favorite items were the short rib And the spicy beef bulgogi. Definitely worth coming here again.

Decent spot for AYCE hotpot and KBBQ. The pricing is pretty typical of other places ($35) with the ability to add KBBQ for an additional ($5), which we did. A pro tip is to ask for a big for your jackets so it doesn't smell like hotpot after! I came on a weeknight with some friends, and we were seated pretty immediately. There's a sauce bar which I thought had a lot of options, though I also found the KBBQ grill options a bit limited. Service was good if a bit slow, particularly for replacing the KBBQ grill which makes it hard to keep cooking the items without burning. The food itself came fast though. I enjoyed my experience overall and would come back!

Amazing flavor and the staff was very attentive. I like how I can cook my own meat unlike other places I've been to where I have to wait for them to cook for me. The place is large and I'm upset that I didn't realize earlier there was a back with snacks and fruits. The different beef cut was delicious and marinated to perfection. The seafood variety was good. They have a guide teaching you how long to cook each item. Staff was nice and kept changing out the grating for us. Would definitely come back for more. They have happy hour drinks as well.

Arkar was a really great and attentive worker, he got us everything we needed in minimal amounts of time! The food was delicious as well as the ambiance! Would recommend!

Catching up with friends on a Saturday at 1pm and didn't have to wait because there were tons of seating available. I did call the day before and they only take reservations for large parties. Pricing for AYCE on the weekend was $32.99 for hot pot or Korean bbq. $5 additional if you want to do both. We chose to do both. There was a good variety of meats/seafoods/vegetables/noodles on the menu for both. Ordered on a device. The food didn't take too long to come from ordering on the device and when we got it. There was also some hot food where the saices were such as fries and nuggets. The portions of the food was just right as you don't want to over order and can order more when you finish. Servers did come by to collect finished plates and refilled our cups with water (Loved that they had lemon and lime slices in their pitcher of water, perfect and refreshing for the summer!). A few people came by and grilled the bbq meats for us but not too often. I did have to ask someone to refill our soup for hotpot but overall their service was decent. The atmosphere was nice, played kpop and pop songs. Overall, a great experience and would love to come back or go to their other locations!

Spot is good for best of both world. I was feeling hot pot and my girlfriend wanted Korean bbq. For what we got the price is definitely worth it. Place is busy so get ready to cook your own meat (i don't mind it) it's understandable. Also our server was very attentive and accommodating. Seating is comfortable and definitely a good spot for a group party.

Food- 3/5 Service- 4/5 Ambiance- 4/5 Have visited alone and also brought my grandma. Overall it's a fun tasty time! The food lacks in ratings because I've been to KBBQs and the offerings are in abundance. I've found this venue to be very bbq k pot "essential." Meaning it isn't a variety of food but it's def tasty and enough ! My first time coming and this visit, the server was super helpful. Some tables don't work or get hot so be aware ! So Otherwise I'd give them a thumbs up and I will return!

By the time we got to the restaurant, we just had to wait a couple of minutes, and we were seated. I really recommend joining the waitlist as this place gets really packed! As we were seated, the staff told us to order on the iPad and that drinks were all included, but you have to go get it yourselves, which is in the back of the restaurant in the fridge next to the sauce bar. The food came out pretty fast. We ran out of places to put the food! SO MUCH SEAFOOD! It's nonstop food! The staff was very attentive; once there was an empty plate, they took it away. And once the plate is full of leftover shell and such, they ask to replace the plate. 2 deals were going on when we were there. 1. If you pay by cash, you get - one LAANKEE (there is a LAANKEE attached to the restaurant at the front of the store) per person - one of the paid desserts from their menu 2. I was only familiar with the Edison location and didn't realize there was a much closer one that didn't require a ridiculously long road trip. True to its nautical name, Chong Qing offers some killer seafood-centered fare. You can pretty pick from all the fruits de mer for your hot pot, but I want to take a moment to praise the apps: We got some delicious raw clams, crabs and shrimp marinated in a delectable sweet and savory soy/garlic-based sauce. It was so good, I nearly lapped up my plate like a hungry dog. And you better believe I smashed that re-order button, considering it was AYCE! Their sashimi--a la Arctic Surf Clams and other chewy pieces of the crustacean variety--were also fresh and succulent. We even got complimentary Australian lobster tail (to boil in our hot pot), which was definitely a win. All in all, the pescatarian in me was doing happy mermaid dances by the end of our meal. And the cherry on top? Or should I say durio? AYCE durian. Yes, yes, I know this fruit is controversial--and in the case of my dinner, I was the only one to enjoy it while everyone else stared at me like I'd grown six extra eyes. But screw it, I was more than happy to finish my hot pot with its pungent creaminess. Even if a few pieces weren't fully de-frosted. The only thing I'd avoid is their specialty tea offerings. I got a peach/jasmine lemon tea thing, and it was flavorless. Not worth the $7.

The interior feels different from your typical hot pot restaurant and made a strong first impression. We went with the higher-end seafood package and ordered across the menu. Unfortunately, the food itself left us a little underwhelmed. The spicy broth ended up being too intense for several people at our table, while the tomato bone broth was much more enjoyable. The meats were pretty average, the vegetables were fine, and the shrimp were surprisingly small. I was also looking forward to the sushi, but it came covered in a red sauce that completely took away from it. The restaurant was also pretty tight, and where we were seated it felt especially hot. By the end of dinner, we all walked out smelling like spicy broth and grilled meat. I can definitely see why people enjoy Xiang. It is busy, energetic, and offers something different. But having tried quite a few hot pot restaurants, I expected a little more from the selection and quality, especially with the premium package. Fine for a place for group hangouts, but also not memorable.

The fact that it's all on skewers makes cooking and eating easy. It's truly such a wonderful dining experience. We came with a large party of 11 and we were more than satisfied. Everything was delicious and I love how easy it is to get more skewers on your own. They also have a large selection of drinks from soy milk to herbal teas. In the end, you also get ice cream although the flavors are pretty basic here. Note that if you pay in cash, you get free durian, which is nice and creamy.

I stopped by for the complimentary birthday meal that I've enjoyed here for the past several years. In the past, if you came in on your actual birthday, you could receive the birthday meal even if you were dining alone. I've always tipped 20%+ based on the full menu value and have also dined at your restaurants as a paying customer on many other occasions. When I arrived, a supervisor at the front told me the policy had changed and said I should have checked the website beforehand. I pulled up the website on the spot and showed her that it had not been updated to reflect the new policy. She acknowledged that the website was inaccurate, but simply shrugged. I politely explained that I had checked the website before making the trip and that it should be updated to avoid situations like this. Her demeanor then became noticeably dismissive. Being turned away on my birthday after commuting there and looking forward to dinner was unnecessarily frustrating and, frankly, felt a bit petty.
