#13 grilled kielbasa and 3 pierogi for $7.99
    Shashu B.

This place is a surprise. Really great food, served by a dedicated staff, and a unique place to have a quick lunch - a couple of communal tables inside the store, serving a menu (you need to ask for) that consists of Smokey kielbasa, light and gnocchi-like pierogi, served with delicious rye bread and sour cream. It's definitely worth the detour if you're anywhere nearby, and we will be back soon. There are fresh breads, kielbasas, various smoked pork products, frozen pierogi, cabbage rolls etc. at the deli too. Old school place with fantastic food, and ambience. The gelato was an added surprise - recommend the blackberry, but apparently many flavors are great , and sell out. Put it on your list! Joy!

Always a wonderful experience visiting the Krakow Deli! From fresh made foods to sweets and treats! An extra large assortment of everything! I'm a big Gołąbki and Pierogi fan. They make them fresh from scratch and they're absolutely pyszne (that's DELICIOUS in Polish)! They have meats and cheeses, candy, cakes, jarred and canned goods, drinks and even gifts like hats, mugs etc! It's like walking through an authentic Polish shop! Stop in and say hi to Marta and shop all of the amazing authentic Polish fare they have to offer! Always a treat!

Left- hunter's stew. Right- cabbage pierogie, galumpkie with tomato sauce, kielbasa, sweet gherkin, toast points from homemade loaf.

On an out of state trip I tried Polish food for the first time and loved it. When I returned to Rhode Island, I searched for a Polish restaurant, and this deli was the only option to come up. I finally had the time to make the trip to Woonsocket. The store is very cute and well-maintained. Their freezer section has a wide variety of pierogies, soups, and other assorted foods. The deli counter has many varieties of kielbasa, and other prepared foods and desserts. The store has two large family style dining tables. In addition to purchasing pierogies from their freezer and kielbasa from the deli, I also ordered lunch to eat there. The hunters stew was fabulous, and the combination plate with kielbasa, pierogie, golabki, rustic bread and pickles were all delicious. The service was excellent, and the two women who run the place were very kind.

Potato and cheese pierogi, rye bread, and golumpki with mushroom sauce.

I have to preface this that I love Polish food and grew up in Blackstone but have never tried the Krakow Deli. What a mistake on my part because this place is amazing! You walk into the cute little deli and it's like you're walking into the old world. They have different Eastern European foods for sale along with some of their goodies in the freezers. Then you walk up to the counter and the sweetest women are there to serve you. I ordered the golumpki, pierogi, and rye bread combo and everything was stunning. Some of the best Polish food I've ever had. I also had the latkis and they were so crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. My only suggestion is that I would put the sour cream on the side rather than right on top of them. Finally, the cinnamon roll babkas are some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Polish food or is just trying to branch out!

I couldn't believe the assortment of perogies!!

Krakow Deli has been on my list for quite awhile. We were recently at Wright's Bakery and I remembered this place and quickly found out it was just a couple miles from where we were so we put it in our gps and were shortly there. There is plenty of parking in their private lot. We went in and were surprised how big it is in here compared to the other Polish stores we visited. There is quite a bit of Polish food in here with a combination of packaged foods and store made food. We spent some time browsing and made our decision to try a couple different kinds of perogies, we picked out some sour cream cookies that were filled with apricot, prune and raspberry fillings and they were delicious. We also ordered a couple glompkies and were given the choice of red or mushroom sauce (we picked the red). Our total bill came to about $33. We noticed they had some homemade glompkie soup when we were checking out and they quickly offered us a small sample cupful and it was very good! The next day we heated up our glompkies and they were amazing.... we haven't cooked up the perogies yet, but I'm sure we'll love them. We'll definitely be back to this place!!! Update: we cooked the perogies we bought (cabbage and a meat filling one) and we hated them. The meat filling one tasted and looked like meat baby food and we just didn't like the flavor of the cabbage ones. They looked beautiful all cooked and all... but We will still be back there for all the other yummy stuff though!!

Potato and cheese pirogies, gołabek with mushroom sauce, mustard, pickles, two slices of rye. #15 on the menu I believe!

Krakow firmly has a hold on my tastebuds and bank account. Every time I come in, it feels like home. I'm not even Polish, I'm Vietnamese, and the feeling's still there. There are dinner tables (unused due to Covid), kind, very helpful Polish folks, traditional art, the whole nine yards. What they carry: Plenty of prepared goods like tinned pate and pork loaf, Eastern European beverages like kvass, deli meats such as head cheese, ham, and bacon, candy, pastries, bread. I love a good variety platter. Highly recommend ordering #15 for a bit of everything, plus some of the best pickles I've ever had and mustard. I go for the mushroom sauce for the gołabek and potato/cheese pirogies, but it's all delicious. My only semi-gripe is that food takes a little longer than some may find desirable. This isn't a huge issue for me. Krakow is a fairly small, mostly family operated business. Usually when I come in, it's two lovely Polish ladies. Their kindness vastly makes up for the moderately long wait time.

pastry of walnuts & honey, delicious!

A great place for Polish food, plenty of handmade pierogies in the freezer, all different kinds. I buy the fresh made golumpki for my parents and they love them. Plenty of bakery items too :)

The brisket was my absolute favorite--so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. When we arrived, the place was full, which honestly had me betting big that the food would live up to the hype--and it absolutely did. Even the other customers were friendly, and the staff was just as welcoming. My fiancé and I shared the two-meat platter, and thank goodness we did--it was more than enough food. We were stuffed and still had leftovers (which I'm very much looking forward to eating again). If we ever pass through this way again, I'll definitely be making him stop here. Can't wait to come back!

Was looking to buy a kielbasa, but was specifically looking for one stuffed krajana style (Polish for chunky), not ground meat style. They only make the latter. I ended up with frozen packages (frozen, due to the long drive home) of Italian sweet sausage, Italian hot sausage, and bratwurst. Each priced at $10.49 / lb. For me, a bit steep. DD got breakfast sausage. Also, what seemed to be a side of beef. It was very heavy carrying it to my vehicle. He, who wears a Rolex watch (and drives a Lincoln!) also thought the prices were steep. He rated them 3 star, which is to be expected. He has, in fact, earned his reputation as Demanding Dan. If I lived a bit closer, would be interested in trying a few other things. And fresh, not frozen. Update - next day. I had one each of the hot and sweet Italian sausage. Very, very good. Nicely spiced, seems like lower fat content than store-bought. Still pricey, though, and no fennel seeds!?!?
