I was then informed that I had to buy a dozen of the Halloween Donuts & can't just order 3. So I ordered the dozen. The lady behind me was then helped by another employee & was able to just order three Halloween donuts, when I was just told I had to order a dozen to get the Halloween donuts. When I was at the register & questioned why I had to order a dozen & the lady behind me only ordered 3, CYNTHIA who was the same lady behind the register that told the lady that was assisting me that I had to order the Dozen replied, "I don't know what's going on." I have been going to this location every 3-4 months for about 6 years. I see all the bad reviews and never understood why because i've never had a bad experience here. Howeverlast Saturday I went around 12 am and was treated with the worst customer service possible. The cashier was so rude to my father, got the orders wrong, and then there was a HAIR in my donut. This hair is thick, dark, and at LEAST 2 INCHES long. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Krispy Kreme needs to manage their place better. Warning! If you want some of the Halloween donuts, you are going to only have a dozen of those. I tried to order 6 special Halloween donuts with the rest of my plain donuts and they said no, can't do that. So I said okay fine, then can I purchase 6 Halloween donuts separately and 6 plain donuts separately. But again, no you can't do that. Then the lady directed me to the manager to ask about it. So I did and waited patiently to speak with her. She then assumes I am an online order but I said no I stood in line for 45 mins and was directed here to speak with you. I explained the situation and she also told me no I cannot order those Halloween donuts unless I am getting a dozen of those. But I explained I only want a dozen donuts with some plain glaze. How can I make this happen? She gave me no solution to that but told me youll have to go back to the end of the line and wait to order again. I said no I just came from that line and waited 45 mins. Again she assumes I am an online order person and tells me I have to go back in line if I want donuts. Again.. I say I came from that line already and was directed to you. I wont go wait again in the back of the line. She finally tells me to just reorder the donuts with the other lady. If they would have just charged me the 16.99 for the specialty Halloween donut dozen set and I only did 6 special Halloween donuts and 6 regular donuts, it would benefit the company cause half the donuts are cheaper than the specialty ones. There always seems to be a long line every time I come but it's worth the wait for the original glazed doughnut. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the cashier was a bit rude. We asked her if All the locations were going to have the original glazed doughnut but in green for St. Patrick's Day and just shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. She could have asked a manager or at least not be rude. Besides that the doughnuts are sweeter than most places but still good. It is a bit pricey it was $16 for a dozen doughnuts and a medium iced coffee. Worst place EVER. Line was over a hour long and when we got to the window in the drive through, they said that they were out of glazed and that their machine was broken. I ordered two dozens and they gave me 4 half dozen boxes. While I was ordering, they said "one second please" and it took them 10 minutes to come back. For as much as I do enjoy donuts, I'm not usually near this place as often as I'd like. It's down in Burbank, and I'm just not down that-a-way all that often. I had just finished stuffing far too many chicken wings in my stomach at Hooters. I was pretty darn full. But a lil bell rang in my brain and reminded me that there was a Krispy Kreme over there....somewhere. Still stuffed with chicken wings, I sat in the parking garage above Hooters, and I pulled out my trusty Yelp App, and asked it where Krispy Kreme was. A short drive later, I parked in their lot. I walked over and entered the place. It wasn't that crowded at all, but there was still a small line of a half dozen people or so in front of the counter. A few of their tables were occupied by happy smiling people enjoying donuts. As I walked in the store, I noticed the glass wall between the customers and the donut making machine. Donuts were being made at a fantastic rate just a few feet away. Everything was in plain view and I took a moment to watch the machine do it's thing. I then walked the length of the store up to the counters. I asked for a dozen regular donuts. The guy asked if I needed hot donuts. I thanked him, but I was going to bring them to work in the morning; so hot donuts weren't really necessary. If I had come here to buy myself donuts, I don't think I'd come here. But if I was going to bring smiles to all of my co-workers, then that's a different story. THEN I can buy myself donuts. Ya. I enable myself by giving. After careful examination of my options, I had decided upon a pumpkin spice donut and a plain Krispy Kreme Donut for myself. I also got a cold soda for the drive home. A lil caffeine to shake the 'too many Hooters chicken wings food coma' that was developing. Nice guy behind the counter handed my donuts to me with a smile, and then joyfully directed me towards the cash registers behind me. I took my treats, turned around and stepped forward a bit to a smiling lady behind a register. She asked me if I was a member of some club. I said no, paid for my donuts, and then took them home for later. After thirty minutes in the car, and after another few minutes of some random youtube videos, later eventually arrived. I don't think I can ever get enough of this place! There use to be so many locations but now they are far and fee between. But when the craving hits, we make our way to Burbank and pick up a few dozen original glazed! Just pop them in the microwave for just a few seconds, 7 secs for us, and they just melt in your mouth! Thought it would be a fun treat for the kiddos to get the green donuts since it was St. Patricks Day! Taste exactly the same as the original gazed just touched by a leprechaun! Considering this is the only chain donut shop that I know of in Los Angeles.. it is okay for when you need a donut fix. If the glaze "Hot & Fresh" sign isn't on, they aren't that good unless you wait to heat them up once you get home. Mainly because they get hard and dry when not fresh. We drove long to come here. It's the closest one to our city. My sister is a graduate this year and wanted the gradation free dozen. We were in line for an hour lines are crazy so be prepared to wait. So when we get to the drive through we ask for the free graduation donuts and they tell us they aren't honoring that promotion only Tuesday's no where did it mention that in their website. My son wanted to take his friends at school Valentine's day donuts. We arrived just before 7am. I was expecting a line but we waited a little over an hour. The line was pretty long and going kinda slow. We even made up a game guessing which customers would leave or get in the long line lol people literally came in looked at the line and walked out. This is a horrible experience. Karla your assistant manager was really unhelpful today . Usually an assistant manager is there to help solve problems and make sure everyone leaves happy . Not only was Karla rude she didn't want to honor the birthday special which is fine . But when I ask for a refund on my debit card she refuses to give me my money back and insist it's going to take 3-5 days .
