And... FINALLY! At long last, we no longer have to travel to Mountain View or Union City for Krispy Kreme donuts anymore. This location is a lot smaller the the independent ones (with drive-thrus) but I'm not complaining. They offer the same goods and I love when the "fresh now" sign is on. My favorite flavors: -LEMON FILLED GLAZED. I almost love any lemony desserts. -SUGAR. it's simple and unglazed. -GLAZED. duh, when it's fresh. We wanted coffee so got a vanilla iced coffee, ORiginal glaze iced coffee, and a strawberry lemonade. Strawberry lemonade was awful, do not waste your money. It takes like Jelly in ice, we couldn't even finish it. The OG coffee was nothing special and vanilla iced coffee was half decent but We won't be coming back. They also have paper straws which make mixing the creamer in quite difficult. read more

2 RUDE women working here on a Monday. I asked for ONE box for my costume I was finishing, and got denied. Rewind to 2 months ago, a very nice employee gave me TWO boxes without question with a big smile on her face. This time? Unprofessional. Inconsistent. I get 2 boxes before, suddenly today denied even one at the SAME store. What? I asked over and over the reason, even spoke to the manager on the phone, and the managers reason was "because I'm the manager!"...Seriously? The 2 girls reason was "....just because!" Nowhere near my favorite Krispy Kreme location, but it's near, so this is where I go when the craving hits. It's small, it's typical enough. Staff are friendly on good days, other times they're just aight. Why 2 instead of 3 stars? SUPER inconsistent for accepting deals. Sometimes they want it preloaded/printed, other times you gotta show the actual email itself. No honoring, no leeway. It's a hassle built over many, many visit. Doughnuts at Krispy Kreme are good. It's a small location. When I walked in, the key offered to help me with my order right away. We got the assorted box of a dozen and got Java Chip, Powdered Sugar, Glazed, Glazed Lemon Filled, and Chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. I don't normally eat a lot of sweets, but these are an exception because they're great. I like eating them warm. Once they get too cold or old, they start to taste nasty. Fresh. Glazed. Doughnuts. I will never eat another elsewhere. My fried carbs desire always battles my inner healthy conscience when I'm around this hood, and usually the doughnuts win out. Maybe my inner healthy conscience secretly wants these 'nuts too. I wouldn't go for the doughnuts in the case, as there is just to comparison to fresh 'nuts. Maple is nice and caramel-y, but it is less fluffy than the fresh glazed. Per the filled doughnuts, the dough is not sweetened and is quite dense. Only the filling is sweetened, but even then, loses out to the glazed. That magical belt of freshly fried dough and waterfall of sugar glaze is just so mesmerizing, as if hypnotizing me into eating doughnuts (as if I need an excuse to eat doughnuts). It was crowded in the evening after dinner time on Sunday, so expect to wait if you want doughnuts for dessert. Basically, I would only go here for fresh glazed doughnuts. I only dropped by to get my FREE Halloween donut (every year KK allows customers who dress up with a free donut, courtesy of their awesome holiday spirit!). There were two ladies up at front, and the sweet girl who helped me with my transaction was quick, efficient, and smiley. Shoutout to your gorgeous skeleton makeup too!! Hot donut light is ON! Too bad their service wasn't. I love Krispy Kreme and when that light comes on I get so mesmerized that I'm willing to forgive a lot. However, bad service is not one of them. Came here three days after they opened. When I walked in at 7pm, there was only 1 other customer there besides me. I could see a group of employees in the back looking at a screen and giggling very loudly. There were two cashiers out front and one was helping a customer and the other was making donuts. I stood around a while and no one greeted me even though they were looking right at me. Finally, I walked up to the register and could hear the employees in the back laughing very loudly. The other cashiers turned to look behind them, but no one said anything. This went on for a while. I was trying to give my order and would be interrupted with the loud laughter coming from the back. Finally, one of the cashiers yelled at them to settle down. She could have easily walked back there and told them without broadcasting it to the entire store. By this time, the store began filling up, but no one seemed to be coming to the front to help the two cashiers. Between customers, the other cashier had to go to the back and get help. I know this store is new, but they need to work these service kinks out if they expect people to come back. While there may not be another Krispy Kreme for miles around, there are other options at the Plant. If this location doesn't step up, they might go the way of other Krispy Kremes: closed. read more

Also, they were out of the regular glazed which was what the groupon was good for (2 dozen glazed) but the next day was Valentine's & it was nice because after devouring the 1st box that night when I got home, I left the box w/ the heart shaped sprinkled/red velvet donuts out for my nieces who LOVED them & thanked me when they got back from school.
