It's a 24/7 two story Krystal on Bourbon Street...how much more can I say?! And talk about knowing your audience! In all my stories about my NOLA trips over the years, a constant is always this Krystal location! As a southerner that grew up loving Krystal, seeing the bright lights on Bourbon after a night in the French Quarter seemed like square-pattied and chili-fried destiny. While the menu and offerings of this location are mostly the same as all other locations...this Krystal also has a daiquiri bar! That's right, get you a Krystal and a daiquiri! They actually call it a "sak and a dak", and I am here for it! I usually get my go-to, which is always a number 1 with cheese and chili cheese fry. Always comes in clutch and always hits the spot! Service at this location is next level. They are friendly and fun from start to finish. Cleanliness and condition are tough here, I am sure due to the crowds from Bourbon. It's honestly noticeable from entry to exit, whether eating in or getting to go. The space could use some TLC. Overall, this Krystal is the mecca of Krystal locations. If you find me on Bourbon, there is a 100% chance you will find me at this Krystal at some point during the same visit.

Please take into account that I was pretty buzzed when I ate here, but I really enjoyed it. I heard people call it the White Castle of the area, but it's 100 times better than White Castle. Very fast food and right in the heart of Bourbon Street. Come here for a quick snack.

I was hype to see that this place was open at 4am as I was hungry and buzzing. I ordered a plethora of food and skipped along on my merry way to devour my food. Before I left though, I had to use the restroom. Honestly, the smell was so bad I would have rather held it until I got to my hotel. The service was pretty good there as everyone was polite. Ordering on the screen made it easy enough to get what I wanted and check out quickly. However as this place was on Bourbon street, the crowd that hung inside was a bit creepy. So I collected my food quickly and got out of dodge. The wings themselves were super crispy. They were small but got the job done. Clearly the highlight as the burgers are so small that the bite you do take, taste like air. The hot dog was too salty. The fries were just ok. All in all, I'll be getting my late night chicken elsewhere the next time I visit.

I'm so excited to come to Bourbon St during the day and see Krystal... they're is no Krystal burger on the west coast but it brings back fond memories. Morgan met us and greeted us immediately. Service with smile. She's extremely pleasant and helpful. She's the reason this would be five stars. The menu is not TINY but it's not vast either. So it shouldn't take long to figure out what you want. This time i discovered the Tiny Pup (hot dog)... they have tater tots which i feel is a food group. Then there are single, cheese, double, double cheese, bacon cheese, chili cheese, chicken etc... lots of options. Then fries, tots, loaded tots etc. The location is kinda dated. And not all the way clean but it's bourbon street. This is the reason it's four stars... Great bad for you food after it before drinking. Go ahead and get some!!!

My boyfriend and I came here for a bite to eat. We are familiar with Krystal as it's White Castle's southern sister. We were greeted when we entered. My boyfriend had Cheese Krystal and I had the chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed. We ordered fries and tots to complete our meal. Both were crisp and delish. You can also get different types of alcohol here. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

DO NOT EAT HERE. I hopped off a long flight late at night. This was the only thing open and delivering. I read the reviews but figured what could I lose! Well clearly everything. Who ever is working here is beyond lazy. I didn't get my food for 2 hours! I ordered the shrimp po boy, Krsytal cheese, chili pup, chili cheese fries, a rootbeer, and one apple turn over. The po boy had no sauce and the shrimp looked microwaved, there wasn't a Krystal cheese in the bag, the rootbeer was watery. This is what I waited 2 hours for!!!! The chili cheese fries saved me from starving but were not great. Never again. Save your money and stomach. Go somewhere else. I hate that this was my first impression of New Orleans. Don't make my mistake.

So this place is like a White Castle but 20 times better. Those little burgers are so freaking good, they have such a huge menu you can get a variety of things. They have self-serve registers, or you can bring in with the human. The place is a little small but very spacious that you can eat and hang out. The one negative thing I would have to say is how long it takes to get your food, though they make it's one of it at once. You have an options of tater tots for fries, the tater tots are so good. They even chili cheese them

This restaurant reminds me of White Castle. The burger tastes just like it. The Cheeseburger is small, snack size. But it comes with a pickle (singular), cheese, onions and mustard. The Chili Cheese Pup delivers on its name. The food is cheap, it's open late 24/7, located conveniently at the start of Bourbon Street. Knowing it's probably the cheapest place food in the area, it's decent hangover food.

Hey! This Krystal has daqueries! And they have mega daqueries!!!

Small place, but not cramped. A little more expensive than I'm used to. The food was on point, especially for a hangover.

This past week we visited and we could both tell right away things were different. The inside of the restaurant was filthy and I mean filthy. You could see the floor under the bar and in the kitchen hadn't been cleaned in months. The fryers hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Everything just looked dirty and like no effort is put into cleaning and maintenance. We decided to eat anyway which was a mistake. We love their burgers that are cooked and steamed old school. We both ordered one. My wife ordered hers with bacon, which they charge over 3 bucks for. We both ordered our burger dressed with all the fixings. When my wife's burger came out it had no bacon and no fixings. I told the waiter and he said he would handled it. He never did as he started doing other orders. My burger had no flavor and it looked like the person that made it didn't care , which goes along with the restaurant cleanness. One thing that really turned us off was the was other guest were treated by staff. The "cook" was completely pissed off and had a horrible attitude. A group came in looking for a table and there wasn't room. He yelled at them that there wasn't room. They stood in the entrance area for a few moments and then he yelled at them that they needed to get out of the restaurant and wait outside. He told them this isn't a restroom so don't wait in line. The attitude and distain in his voice was overwhelming. A few minutes later a couple came in and found 2 seats at the bar. They decided to order food to go and was talking to the waiter. One of the 2 people ordering was standing behind the empty bar seat while they ordered. The cook yelled at this person that they needed to sit down. Both customers were stunned. The waiter told the cook they were making an order to go and the cook could be heard muttering under his breath. This little guy was nothing but attitude and seemed extremely pissed off the there. Maybe instead of being the restaurant traffic cop and total smart ass he should concentrate on getting orders straight since ours was screwed up and never fixed. Whatever charm this place had is gone along with the any effort to keep it up to clean standards.

Unfortunately, the customer service was a completely different experience. When I walked in and said I was there to pick up an order, the man and woman behind the bar looked at me strangely, whispered to each other, and then asked for my name. After confirming it, the gentleman only told me the total. No greeting, no smile, and I wasn't asked if I wanted to order a drink or anything else. When the woman handed me my food, I asked if I could have some ketchup. She responded with an attitude, saying, "There's some in the bag." I thanked her and left. When I got back to my work van, I opened the bag and found there was only one packet of ketchup. The food was excellent, but the service left me feeling very unwelcome. Based on how I was treated, I couldn't help but feel like I was being judged differently because of my ethnicity. I can't say for certain that was the reason, but that's honestly how the interaction made me feel. I hope management takes customer service seriously because everyone deserves to feel welcomed and treated with respect.

The 8oz filet mignon steak special is, dollar for dollar, the best steak I have ever had in a restaurant. Perfectly tender, marbled, and cooked and seasoned to perfection, and topped with a decadent garlic butter. I've been coming here for about 6 or 7 years now, and they are easily in my top three. The vibe? Dive bar, laid back, no fuss... but the FOOD? Don't sleep on it. Their menu is solid and I still haven't made it through everything yet. I've had the wings, which we actually got this visit but ate them so fast we didn't even get a picture. That should tell you enough right there. I've had the pizza, and my husband usually goes for a burger. Never any complaints. They've got plenty on tap and the drinks hit too. I love a good Electric Lemonade, but this time I kept it simple with an Angry Orchard. Now let's talk about what keeps me coming back... The steak. We got our old faithful, one of their signature steaks, the 10oz petite ribeye. This is exactly what made me fall in love with Turtle Bay in the first place. Normally it's around $13.95, comes with a twice stuffed potato and a slice of garlic bread. A DEAL. This time it was a little higher, but still under $15, which honestly is still more than fair with how prices are these days. And when I say it be hitting... it be hitting. Only reason this visit didn't get a full 5 stars? My steak was cooked a little over my liking. I usually go for medium, and this one leaned more done than I prefer. Not horrible, just not my usual perfection. But everything else? Still solid. The staff is always nice, always welcoming. I've never had a bad experience with them, and that matters. And I already know I'm coming back because I keep hearing the crawfish is FIRE. Yeah... I need to see that for myself. This is my happy place. Open 24/7, consistent, affordable, and just a real gem in the French Quarter. The Bay is Babe. Period.

Like most worthwhile restaurants, the menu here changes up. The specials as well as their famous sandwiches seem the way to go and I got the fried shrimp with bread and butter pickles. Exceptional--a small amount, it may have even been a starter but regardless was perfect for me. The sandwiches other diners had on their plates were large and looked delicious just glancing around at other tables. Everything comes up fast and the atmosphere is . . . just ideally New Orleans. It feels all the way "working CBD lunch" yet unhurried, a reflection of Cochon's greatness but scaled down and with utterly no pretense. There's simply a real sense of both care and expertise in everything done here no matter how simple or complex.
