Nice bubble tea shop with a great selection of bubble tea, milk tea, and other tea drinks. I had the oolong milk tea, which I liked a lot. I do personally think that the shop could look a little more lively if there were some more nice decor or paintings, including in the bathroom. The shop and the bathroom could both use more decor. Otherwise, all else was satisfactory for me!

Great service. Small and not much of an interior ambiance. Friendly staff who quickly prepared my almond milk bubble tea. I paid with the LevelUp app and presumably earned loyalty rewards. The bubble tea tasted fresh, flavorful, not too sweet, and cold. There's no dedicated parking lot. It's all street parking. I would come back.

Got myself a little Taro Milk Tea treat (yes, bubbles!)

Yum! I wandered in on a Thursday afternoon. I'd seen other cooly perspiring cups in hands as I completed other errands in the area, but I was the only customer when I entered. It was a little on the loud side, so I recommend speaking up so the order attendee can hear you through the plexiglass. The two employees behind the xounter quickly put together and sealed my taro milk tea with bubbles. It was exactly the sweet, creamy drink that I wanted. There's a menu in the window facing outside if you don't want to stand inside while you review the options. You can also order online. The pick up shelf is clearly marked and directly in front of you when you walk in. Many of the tables inside are closed for COVID safety protocols. You can pay with LevelUp.

It's been 10 minutes, and I'm DUE For another drink from Kung FU So now I'm going to rap for YOU And if it really sucks, just BOO So if you and your bf are THROUGH And you need something (someone) to DO Let me show you how my legend "GREW" And all my urban myths are TRUE Be glad your sister never KNEW What we did, or she'd want me TOO So do me like they do the DEW And I'll stick atop you like GLUE There is no taming of this SHREW I'll be the driver, you the SCREW You the river, me CANOE Or you can be Barbie's sexy SHOE Me Roger Daltrey, you the WHO You Chinatown Houston, me LOU Me dictator, you my COUP You Nepal, me KATHMANDU You 80s radio, me CUTTING CREW You a doctor's office, me the FLU You the Synagogue, me the JEW You the toilet, me the POO Wait, what Anyway Those boys will have to join the QUEUE And wait until I'm done with YOU You'll bounce like a KANGAROO Cause we're lovers, not fighters like FOO And when we're done (in a day or TWO) After I've made your kitty MEW And after I've finally WITHDREW Then it's time to go to Kung FU! WHAT What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I also love the regular milk tea with Oreo! I was asking what kind of beans they had one time. The girl was like "what is this, Mung Fu Tea?" My notes say - friendly girl and her dad, took forever, good tapioca, least sweet, most tea like, enjoyable, friendly, photos I don't perform music in the bathroom anymore. Otherwise it'd be "Sung Fu Tea." Well it wasn't the best lemon black tea I had, and had a stronger tea flavour than the others in DC, but I definitely have to upgrade from 4 stars to 5 stars because the girl and her dad were so incredibly friendly despite being slammed, and in fact some of the friendliest Boba workers in all of the DC area, so I'll definitely be back here in future. I asked them both "what is the past tense of I Bring Kung Fu Tea?" They incorrectly responded "Brung Fu Tea." And I loved every sip, and even though it took forever because they randomly got busy, it was still one of my fave Boba experiences in greater DC. So if you have nothing to do And your partner won't give you a screw I know something better And very much wetter Get Lemon Black Tea from Kung Fu!

It was almost $8 for a regular-sized matcha slush with regular boba and mango boba. I will say that the matcha flavor was spot on. Sometimes matcha flavor is drowned out by sugary sweetness or vanilla. In this case it was perfect with just a hint of sweetness. My visit to Kung Fu Tea was otherwise unremarkable. I'd say it's an OK place if you have a craving for bubble tea. FYI, parking in this area is a challenge. You're limited to a few meters here and there. You're better off reaching this Kung Fu Tea location if you're already on foot in the area or getting off at the nearby metro stop.

Thai Milk Tea with Bubbles: The milk tea was a little too milky but the bubbles were perfectly cooked (chewy and sweet).

I love a good boba tea! I ordered through the DoorDash app, the response time was fast! The tea was good but definitely strong if that's your style! The packaging was very nice and there were no spills!

Review for health conscious people: I am pretty health conscious but I have my guilty pleasures and for a while Kung Fu tea was my guilty pleasure, because let's face it, it's delicious. However, I feel that a review is necessary as their menu is extremely deceiving and I feel like it is intentionally misleading. After getting somewhat hooked, I wanted to cut down on my sugar consumption but then found that they offer "green tea with a splash of *fresh* orange juice". Which became my go-to and I felt like I could easily order this with no guilt. After a couple of times of really enjoying but feeling like it was too good to be true, I dug around quite a bit to finally find out that everything.. and I mean everything on their menu is saturated in high fructose corn syrup. And that their fresh orange juice is a combination of a a few things that are really bad. Again, their menu is extremely misleading in telling people that their orange green tea is just fresh orange juice and tea, and that the lemon green tea, is fresh lemonade, cane sugar, and tea. There needs to be more transparency to educate people of what their actually signing up for when going for these "teas". Never again.

Sesame matcha boba

Great little boba shop in the heart of downtown Clarendon. This one sells poke, too! The wait time is longer than other boba places I've been to, but Arlington is naturally more crowded all the time. I ordered the new sesame matcha boba and it was a great flavor! The sesame seeds made the texture a little different, but I still liked it. My friend asked for her black milk tea less sweet, but it was still really sweet. Apparently you can order sweetness by percentage, so be sure to be clear when ordering. Not a ton of room for a stroller but I made it work. There's also a side room area with tables where you can sit down.

I like to try and venture from what everyone normally orders when I read reviews. So, I went with the Pikachu drink and added aloe vera jelly. I did add a chicken karaage snack, too. Service was quick and there is a good amount of seating available, too. Parking is ample although it was super busy during my visit and I had to circle a couple of times. At least it's free! My Pikachu drink was sooo good! I wish I had gotten the larger one instead. I've never had a yogurt tea drink and this was a great first experience! The chicken karaage was just as delicious! And there was a LOT for the price. Actually, pricing for everything seemed pretty good! I sat inside and enjoyed the Asian pop music in the background while enjoying my order. I was so impressed that I ordered another drink to go, the Brown Sugar Tiger Milk w/o toppings. I don't like super sweet drinks so I always order 10% sweet. It was still pretty sweet even cut down! It was good but a little too sweet for my liking while the Pikachu was the right amount of sweetness at 10% sweet. This location didn't have the Ube Milk Tea but that just means that I'll have to venture to support one of their sister locations so that I can try that drink, too!

I had the pork banh mi Vietnamese coffee also the best I've had best $20 recharge I spent service…read morewas fast and food was authentic Vietnamese food with pâté and Vietnamese mayo

As someone who grew up in Southern California in a large Vietnamese community and has visited…read moreVietnam many times, I can usually tell pretty quickly when a restaurant captures authentic Vietnamese flavors. I was happy to find that the pho here really delivered. I ordered the beef pho, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and tasted very close to what I grew up eating. You can tell that care went into developing the broth, and that was definitely the highlight of my meal. That said, I do have some constructive feedback. I ordered both the beef pho and the special combination bánh mì, and after tax and tip, my total came out to around $30. For that price, I expected larger portions. The pho itself was delicious, but the noodle portion felt quite small, and I left still feeling hungry. If the restaurant increased the amount of noodles, I think the pho would easily earn 5 stars from me. Unfortunately, the special combination bánh mì was disappointing. The bread was very hard, dry, and tasted stale rather than light and crispy. A good bánh mì should have a crusty exterior while still being soft and airy inside, but this one was difficult to eat, and I found myself dipping it into the pho broth just to soften it up. I also felt that the fillings could be improved. The pork skin was quite chewy, there wasn't enough chả lụa, and I would have loved to see more pâté, which is such an important component of a traditional đặc biệt bánh mì. The fillings overall felt a bit underwhelming compared to the authentic bánh mì I grew up with. Overall, I appreciate that this restaurant offers authentic Vietnamese flavors, especially in their pho. With some adjustments to portion sizes and fresher, higher-quality bread for the bánh mì, I think this place has the potential to be outstanding.

On our first visit, they'd already run out of papaya salad despite just having opened. We ordered the So Mint Cooler, which was refreshing but a bit too sour, and a matcha latte that was just average. On our second visit, the papaya salad was a letdown, with barely any beef jerky, and the dish felt so unpolished I could probably make a better version at home. We ordered two drinks: lychee tea and volcano mango. The lychee tea was nothing special, and the volcano mango was supposed to come with a seasoned mango and tajín eatable "straw", but we got a regular one instead. When we asked about it, the staff just said they'd run out. No apology, no heads up until we asked. It felt dismissive. The staff seemed inexperienced overall. I initially assumed this was a self kiosk ordering kind of place, but the second visit made it feel more like a sit down restaurant. Either way, no one checked in beyond taking our order and dropping off the food, so it never felt like a full dining experience. Parking is easy, since it's a combined restaurant and tea shop. I don't think I'll be back.
