Always good food always great service. The restaurant is a little bit funky, but has a comfortableness to it like grandmas house a bit of a blast to the past. The pretzels are always fresh and hot and it's schnitzel is amazing a bit on the pricey side.

It really doesn't get much better than this around this town Some others are very good, but this place has been around for 40 years for very good reasons

Hands down one of the best European spots I've been to! The food is solid and comforting, especially the currywurst sampler and the pork shank with perfectly crispy skin and tender meat. The Bavarian Feast for Two is great for sharing. The self-pour wine wall and beer flights make the experience even better. Don't skip dessert--we had the table-side Bananas Foster. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

Amazing, authentic food made with love! The service is so friendly and welcoming (especially Sam & Alex). We love coming here!

Local, family-owned, consistent, excellent staff, great food every time. I've been here so many times with friends and it doesn't disappoint. Everything here is good even if you're not in a German mood, there are other choices to order. I recommend making reservations in advance.

I really went in knowing nothing about this place so I had zero expectations. Walking in, it's like a cute little old fashioned looking place with alot of knick knacks which I liked the vibe of. I do feel like the look of this place appeals to an older crowd. Our server was less than great. He just didn't seem like he wanted to be there and as first timers, he really didn't answer our questions about the food. He was very indifferent and not very friendly. When we asked if there were cocktails, he did say they have a bar so we can request whatever we had in mind but he didn't have many suggestions and overall the interaction was awkward. We did the $110 three course meal for 2 people and honestly, I don't think it was worth it. We got the spätzle for our appetizer and it was really heavy and oily. The flavor was rich but I wouldn't eat too much because you'll be full fast. I got the Shrimp and Scallops and the pasta was the best part of the dish. The shrimp was good but the Scallops were a little overcooked so it had a slight rubbery texture. I will say yhe dessert did redeem some of this meal because the bread pudding was delicious. It was sweet, warm & fresh and was the best part of the meal. Personally, I wouldn't come back because there are plenty of places that cost just as much but the food is much better and service match.

Kurt's has been on my list for a long time and when the opportunity of a date night came up I suggested this one! We came during the weekday and well, we had a bit of a feast. I thought you would need reservations, so I reserved our table. It was pretty busy for a week night so I'm glad I did reserve just in case. The ambiance is more romantic, however there are tables that can seat more. There was a whole separate room that wasn't opened when I was there, but I could see the capacity of Kurt's increase when it gets busy. So for appetizers, we got the big pretzel along with the fondue for two. The fondue was nice as there were a lot of apples that came with it. The Bavarian pretzel was a lot, just the amount. If you love pretzels, for sure get it. The beer dip was tasty. For my main I got the Jaeger schnitzel. I got this knowing that I'll be back to get their pork shank. They did have it when I was there, but I wanted to save it for my next visit. Lastly for dessert... We were so full we couldn't stuff ourselves any longer! So we actually skipped that part of the meal. Overall though, I fully enjoyed my visit to Kurt's and can definitely see myself coming back. If you're looking for a European/German experience here, check this place out.

Service was great. I loved all of the flags that went around the outside dining area & the food was good/authentic. Some things for improvement: -on the menu it shows german sweet mustard but in fact, they don't sell that so they gave us spicy mustard & honey mustard instead - which we obviously didn't even eat. -the spatzle was great but it was swimminggggg in butter (I love butter but would've liked some of it to be drained out.) -the pretzel was baked to perfection minus the amount of salt it had on it & the beer cheese that came with it.

Pretzel: The pretzel and beer cheese combination was really good. Not surprising, it was really salty after several bites. Fondue: I enjoyed this a lot. Some fondues don't have the added alcohol, but this one did. It was a good balance in flavor. Jaeger schnitzel: I'm generally indifferent towards schnitzels, but the mushroom sauce did elevate this dish. Overall, I thought that the schnitzel was a bit salty, but I enjoyed it with the mushrooms and spaetzle.

I came here for a birthday dinner date night and it was overall delicious with a nice, private ambience! The food was very rich and savory, so prepare your stomachs. Between my boyfriend and I, we split two apps, each got an entree, and split a dessert and we were so full by the end. My favorite dish of the night was the black forest spaetzle - it was super creamy and indulgent. My filet mignon edelweiss entree was also very soft and came with a lot of fun sauces. Everything else was also yummy but salty and heavy - my boyfriend had the schwabian platter which was an insane amount of meat - thick bacon and pork chop and bratwurst. Finally the black forest cake for dessert was nice and moist and sweet. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fancier german food experience!

This restaurant is the closest thing to Germany in the area. My husband has been and he said it's just like the food they had there. It's a cute restaurant and I can tell that many of the customers are regulars here. The food was pretty good. For an appetizer we got the pretzel and beer cheese and an assortment of dips. The beer cheese was pretty good! We also got the snails. I've never had snails before but my father-in-law got me to try it. It comes with some potatoes on top and the snail on the bottom. Over all it was like a mushroom with mashed potatoes. Really good! We also got this flatbread that has sausage and balsamic. It was a hit for us! For dinner I got the classic Wiener schnitzel with some sauerkraut and it was delicious. It comes with a lemon, spatzle, and lemon butter sauce. I wish there was a little more spatzles but I was glad to have enough room for dessert. My mother-in-law got the make your own skillet and said that was delicious as well. We all got dessert. I tried the apple strudel and it wasn't my favorite I will say. It's very traditional European apple strudel so if you're looking for something super sweet, it's okay. My husband got the bread pudding and that was really good! My father-in-law got the Bananas foster and to our surprise the owner came out and made it himself. I will say, he is an older gentleman. He didn't really seem too thrilled to be there. He didn't say a word to us. The only thing he did was snap at an employee because not all the fans were on and the employee couldn't tell him why every other fan was on. That was kinda awkward to watch while he was getting ready to make that. Hence why I'm giving this a four star. The wait staff was amazing and they could tell us everything about the menu, but watching the owner treat an employee like that was disheartening. The wait staff honestly looked terrified of him. Considering this is the only place I could find that isn't an hour drive to Helen or Atlanta that has great German food, I wouldn't mind coming back.

Amazing food, great service, cozy ambiance. For appetizers we ordered the jumbo pretzel and the potato pancakes. The jumbo pretzel really is jumbo! And the three mustard sauces were so good! I can't tell which one is each but i really loved one of them and liked the other two. The potato pancakes were pretty good also but it had a slightly burn taste. Entree: we got Jägerschnitzel (veal schnitzel, mushroom sauce, German pasta) and it was amazing! Full of flavor and delicious! Our friend got Schwabian Platter and he loved it. For desserts, we got the Black Forest Cake and our friend got the Chocolate Mousse. Everything was delicious! We watched the table next to us ordering the Bananas a La foster and I think it was the owner cooking it in front of them (he looks like the drawing on the menu cover).

The table was decorated with little hearts and a card to wish us a happy anniversary. Our servers were a team made up of Deija, Celia and Jackson. They were all very attentive and friendly. Deija was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and when we had any questions she was able to answer them without missing a beat. They brought out their warm rolls with a side of butter. Those were very good. We started off with an appetizer of their fritto misto. This dish was fried lightly and very delicious. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. For our entrees I ordered the double cut filet mignon with shareable mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye with the corn soufflé. My picture of the ribeye came out blurry so it is not pictured, sadly. We really enjoyed our steaks, they were phenomenal. The char, temperature and the way they were cooked were very delicious and to our liking. After we finished up our entrees we were going to ask for their dessert menu. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant as well as the food. The entire occasion was heavenly. We will definitely be back in the future.

Our serve Leon was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was super fancy but still yet very laid back. The food... THE FOOD!!! Ugh!! Was amazing. Everything we had, had wonderful flavors and it all paired so well. From the tender bone in ribeye with bacon cowboy butter to the saucy lobster Mac and cheese to the creamy lobster bisque with lobster bits. Everything was top tier. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary and muffins to go! They didn't let us pack anything, they packed it and gave you a signature Frankie's tote. First-time visit to Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth -- and wow, the food was impressive…read more We had an early 5:15 p.m. reservation through Resy and received clear confirmation and reminder communications from the restaurant. Parking was a challenge due to Valentine's Day and the sheer number of people dining out. That said, parking is often tight in Duluth because of the many restaurants, so it's wise to allow extra time. My wife and I were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival, and our server quickly came over to take our drink orders. I have to mention our server, Maddie, who was one of the most pleasant and personable people we've encountered in a long time while dining out. She was a textbook example of what makes for a great dining experience. At that point, I learned the restaurant was offering a prix fixe Valentine's Day menu, which hadn't been communicated beforehand. While not unusual for the holiday, it did catch me by surprise. Maddie handled the situation professionally when I asked to speak with a manager, and Leon came over quickly. After I explained, they were able to accommodate us by offering the items à la carte, which worked out well since we chose to skip one course and dessert. As for the food -- it was outstanding. My wife had the beet salad and said it was the best she's ever had. I ordered the wedge salad, which was very good. She chose the shrimp appetizer, while I had the stuffed mushrooms; both were excellent. We each ordered the 6-oz filet, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and green beans complemented the steak nicely, and I especially enjoyed the house-made steak sauce, which paired very well with the filet. I also had the opportunity to speak with executive chef and owner George Yu, who was engaging and shared that they cook exclusively over open flames using well seasoned cherry and oak wood from a single supplier. I was even able to thank the chef who prepared our steaks in the wood-fired kitchen. Overall, it was a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner at Noona Steak and Seafood in Duluth, GA.

Service was good, probably because my husband told them I was an elite yelper but also was early on a Saturday night and had only a few tables. They made my custom drink order well. Listened to instructions. Started with a dozen oysters, recommended by the waitress, they were ok. They small and not really flavorful. They had the typical cocktail sauce and horseradish but needed hot sauce. Served also with goldfish crackers, I get the pun but a little tacky for a fine dining establishment. We also had the shrimp with the gochijong sauce. The shrimp were nice size but again lack luster. Where's the seasoning? The gochijong sauce was sparse and was watery. Also the shrimp needed salt. We ordered the surf and turf which was good size. The steak was a little under, ordered it med rare. It was also very thin. The steak was seasoned with corse sea salt at the end. Well that produced some very salty pieces and some under seasoned pieces. Salting before cooking would have helped that and garnish with the course salt. The lobster was small but tasty. Slightly under cooked. The Kim chee fried rice was good but not enough although there were some over ripe Kim chee pieces. The star of the meal was the cheese corn. Delish! Sweet, savory and creamy. Cooked perfectly with enough crunch of the corn to offset the creaminess. It was an anniversary and was offered 3 cake choices and ordered the cheesecake. Non of the cakes are made in house, we asked. The cheesecake was creamy but had a huge crust so the ratio of the cheese mixture to the crust was off balance. BTW a very small slice. All in all I would say we won't be back. Too many other good restaurants nearby.

The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

I don't eat pork so I loved that the bacon was on the side for the brussels, which were delicious, and the chopped salad was equally as good. I don't eat shellfish either so I didn't try the fondue, but everyone around me who did, enjoyed it. The entree I had at the restaurant was the pan seared chicken which was pretty good although it could have used a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon. I also had the cacio e pepe to go and it may have been my favorite thing I've had thus far from here. I did not order any beverages other than water, but next time I think I'll try a cocktail as they looked tasty. I live an hour plus away from this location so I probably won't be returning soon, but if in the area again I would definitely eat here again.
