If you're looking for an honest and up front mechanic, please stay and listen. I requested brakes as my truck was in need of them. Turns out drum, rotars were bad. Drums, rotars, and brakes all replaced. They had to order parts and it would be delivered next day and repaired next day. I am so grateful to God and these guys that I stopped here and received the auto care I needed. I am grateful that they were here to explain and show me everything!!! I arrived the next day and truck was back n running smooth. The gentleman that worked on my truck said,"I treat each car, as if my wife was going to drive it!" I've known Joe the manager a little over a year and what people don't know is he is honest and trustworthy along with his partner Will they get things done I have a 2013 chevrolet suburban ltz and I will go to him before I go to the dealership because he let's me know what I need and how long i can go without it people leaving bad reviews because they want a hookup he can't make money like that and he has a family to support my advice don't go to him if you can't handle the truth about your vehicle and what needs to be done to it if you guys take the time to build a repore with him and his associates you will never know what blessings will come your way and stop trying to get hookups he has a family just like some of y'all i know one thing if he ever decides to get his own shop he definitely has a costumer in me one thing I respect in a man is loyalty and honesty and straight forward man to man conversation. I took my truck to this establishment to get a state inspection. They told me that I needed to have the brake fluid flushed and it would pass inspection. I told them to finish the inspection and that I did not want a flush. I have the maintenance records on my vehicle and the brake system was flushed last year. According to my maintenance manual, a brake flush and is only required every 3 years. The next day I came to get my truck inspected, a young guy came out and drove my truck around the building. When he started to drive it into the shop an older guy, the manager, rushed out and jumped into my truck and drove it around the building again. Later, he came in the waiting room and said my parking brake did not work and it would not pass the inspection. He offered to fix it for a $130.00. I told him I would take it to the dealership. He asked me if the dealer did inspections, I said I have not asked. I took my truck to a mechanic that I use for repairs and they adjusted my parking brake at the rear wheels. When I returned for the inspection, the manager was upset because I had someone else adjust the parking brake. He set my parking brake, and put my truck in drive and accelerated the engine at a high rpm and the truck dip, but not moves. He said I got ripped off and should go get my money back and refused to pass my vehicle. I took my vehicle to another state inspection location and they passed the truck. This place is out to swindle people. read more

This place is a joke!! Don't recommend. Came in for a state inspection . And not even 5 minutes after my car was pulled in the guy at the front desk comes and tells me my front brakes are out/ need changing. (I had my brakes done a year ago by the dealer ship) so I told him that and to just do the inspection. But he denied me the service and just told to go get the inspection done with the dealership too. I told him I came here cause it's closer! but he insisted I go to the dealer instead. Also they hadn't even removed my WHEELS to check the breaks or anything! How they new they were bad idk ! I think he got his feelings hurt cause I didn't let him scam me for breaks I didn't need. This place is a scam. Beware!!! Came in for a state inspection. I'm in the lobby waiting while a guy behind the desk is in there watching a movie. Another guy comes in 5 mins later to tell me my power steering is empty but it won't affect my passing the inspection so I tell him not to worry about it. He crumpled up a piece of paper and aggressively throws it in the garbage. The guy behind the desk says if you don't get your power steering fluid filled up you won't pass inspection. I said well the guy doing my inspection just said the opposite. He goes well he's not the inspector, I am. And it's gonna be $89. I said if you're doing the inspection why are you in here watching this movie? So he gets mad, goes into the shop and starts whispering to another guy at the inspection machine and they start laughing. I just said ya know what, just stop the inspection. He said well you still have to pay the $25.50. I said that's fine but I won't be paying $89 for you to scam me into filling up power steering fluid. I went across the street and got fluid for $10 at a parts store. Went to Firestone and my car passed without issue. These guys at Kwik are low life wannabe hustlers. Do not go there!!!! Total ripoff. My daughter took her car to get state inspection. They told her that she had to have her transmission fluid and spark plugs changed to pass state inspection - which is a lie. They charged her $225 to change 4 spark plugs and $120 for transmission fluid change. In total cost her over $550 for an inspection. read more

Went for an inspection guy takes less than 5 minutes pulled my car around says he can't pass it because of a brake light out. I asked where he points to my antenna on the hood of my VW and said he would offer to change it but the location was difficult to get to. I knew he was wrong but didn't want entertain him so I left and when I pulled up next door to Goodyear I noticed the guy tore up the interior on the roof trying to find how to change what he thought was a break light. Im so pissed because of course he will deny it. Goodyear passed the inspection and confirmed i was right about the antenna i should know I've had my car for 12 yrs and it runs amazing. I have a 2017 Cadillac ATS that Sewell Cadillac quoted me $4,039 to replace the rear axle differential seals, $340 to replace a tire; $444 to fix tie rod ends, and $62 for wipe blade replacements. Yes, I was a woman alone going to the dealership for a noise my brakes made when I pressed down on the brake pedal, but these were things the "multi-point inspection" revealed. On the advice of a mechanic friend, I took my car to Kwik Kar on Lakeview Parkway for a second opinion. Matt, the new manager, was frank, friendly, and shook his head when I told him my situation about needing a second opinion---he understood my dilemma. They examined my car, told me my tie rod ends were fine and yes, there was some leakage of my rear axle differential seals, estimate cost $600 to fix. I was stunned but so appreciative that Matt explained exactly what my situation was because I was deathly afraid that I'd end up flipped on I-30 because $4000 to me means a bad situation, life or death. Well, I did go back to Sewell and paid $54 for the parts and had Matt and his team replace both seals for $1200----still far less than Sewell and my serenity was restored. Matt took me home (labor was over 5 hours) and picked me up the next day to pay for and pick up my car. This place is under new management, and I am impressed with their expertise, customer service, and just all-around realness in dealing with their customers. Absolute Dumpster Fire. I pulled in for an oil change. Asked the guy if the Kwik Kar systems were networked, that I usually got my oil changed at Kwik Kar at Mockingbird in Dallas. He didn't understand, so he asked me... "What do you want?" I told him, an oil change. He told me to get out and he drove the car in the garage. Kind of abrupt, but it was early. Next thing I know he's telling me that my license plate was on a Tesla. I said I know. He then was trying to scare me, I guess and told me it was illegal. I responded, do I look that dumb? Maybe I look stupid. It occurred to me that a history of oil changes and the reason I asked about the networking thing is that he would have the brand of the last change. I went outside, an he had put some other kind of oil in the car without asking me. He told me it was the same viscosity and it didn't matter. I told him it matters to me and I was the customer. He then told me to "get the F*** out of here". I asked him who owned the shop. He said his Dad did and he had plenty of money. I was curious... I followed him into the office. Asked him again who is Dad was, he wouldn't tell me. Easy to find. The conversation escalated, he told me his Dad was an investor and he, not his Dad, was the owner. A simple deed search says this kid was not the owner. Avoid this hot head at all costs. Oil change businesses are selling trust and safety. Before I left, I went back and talked to the only employee in the place and wanted to verify there was oil in my care and no leaks. He confirmed that it was good. No other customers around. When you are selling trust, reliability and safety, you need such a person that you can trust, that is reliable and can deliver safe work. This is not the person or the business. This was my wife's car. It meant something to me. I can't imagine any profit being generated for a long term successful run with this guy that looked like he just got out of bed, irritable, rude and mouthy. read more

I took my car in for an inspection but it had rained that morning so he said he couldn't inspect it since it was too slick to do a braking test. Seemed reasonable. When I went back the next day he did the inspection but wouldn't let me pay since he wasn't able to do it the day before. I'm still young enough that I'm doing my own oil changes but when it gets too difficult for me I will probably go to these guys. Very customer-oriented! read more

I've been using this Kwik car for the past two years, and haven't had a bad experience. The guys here are friendly, knowledgeable, and have never tried to up-sell me, or provide a service that wasn't necessary. I'm in and out in under 15 minutes each time I take my car in for an oil change. They may not vacuum the interior of my car each time I roll through, but they do a thorough job, appreciate their customers, and value each persons time. They also offer $5 off for women on Wednesday's, which is pretty cool. read more

I have taken my car for a year to this place just because of their location to my house, but unfortunately these people should be out of business. They don't greet the customer, they just stare at you from the distance when you park the car on front of their hangar. Oil changes are fast, so cars are not properly drained and they look to fail you for any stupid thing on the state inspection. I have a brand new 2019 Jeep and this year(2020) was the first inspection and it failed with them. No "Good morning/afternoon", No "Sir/Ma am" or even a "thank you for your business". These staff lacks of respect to the customer and I have deal with all of them at this point. There is a Valvoline across the street behind the CSV that I wasn't aware when I first moved and my experience with them was really positive. read more
