Zero stars! They had trouble installing my battery due to were it is located and broke the block top fuse box and had multiple people around my car and even pulled up a Youtube video for help. My car started stopping and eventually died It was repaired at the dealership were I purchased it and the service department of the dealership talked to them on the phone explaining what they had to repair/install the staff said I had to talk to the owner to get my $671 back of course he refused even with all of the evidence. On August 18, 2023, the "professionals" at this Kwik Kar location installed the incorrect size battery in my vehicle, which resulted in the a/c and horn malfunctioning within a week of the installation due to improper voltage and power. I took the vehicle to be checked out at the dealer and was then informed of the incorrect/insufficient battery size and advised by the dealer to return the battery. My vehicle manufacturer recommends 27 group and not the 24 group Kwik Kar of Cedar Hill installed. When I returned the battery on August 28, 2023, Quincy, the store manager angrily and rudely stated they could not return it - - despite the Kwik Kar receipt clearly stating any issues with workmanship should be reported to the manager for a refund. The manager and alleged "regional manager," who called himself Tony, alleged no batteries could ever be returned because they are electrical, which makes zero sense as am batteries are warrantied! When I mentioned a no return policy is nowhere in writing on the receipt or visible within the store, he said "well everyone knows that's the battery policy!" Another employee said the battery could be returned but I waited too late (10 days from purchase). The inconsistencies and lies were obvious. Several other Kwik Kar owners that I contacted (both corporate and franchises) stated it is very customary to take batteries back and they do it ALL THE TIME -- especially if the incorrect size was installed. Tony, who refused to let me speak with the owner, stated the 24 and 27 batteries are basically the same. I told him I get to decide what size battery I want in my car and I requested the manufacturer recommended size. He continued to argue with me and basically said he was not returning the 10 day old battery that his staff installed without my knowledge. Bottomline: The front office staff is rude, bullies and gives women a hard time, while intentionally blocking the customer from contacting the owner, who surely has no idea how badly the staff behaves with customers. I went and had my oil changed my car takes synthetic oil and that's what I purchased on Groupon. My car is running bad seems to be miss firing the next day. I figure I'll just get a tune up. All of a sudden my car engine light comes on and and acts lose engine power on my way To get it checked out. Take it to a shop the owner said they didn't use synethic oil (which I paid for) and it messed up my cam solenoid. So I call Kwik Kar and talk to the manager and he states there's no way that the shop my cars at know what type of oil they used in my car it'll have to be tested!! I tell him sir my car was working perfectly fine until y'all did my oil change. My check engine light has never ever been on! He said bring it up there and they'll see?? What are you going to see. My car air conditioner stopped blowing cold air. Autozone told me to go to Kwik Kar to get more Freon. I was told to pull in the stall and the owner added Freon. After an hour I was told I needed an air compressor and not Freon. I had to wait to get the Freon removed. I was told it would take 3.5 hours to complete but they kept my car another whole day. I was charged 800 dollars but 700 if I gave them cash. I finally got a call the next day at almost closing that it was ready. When I picked it up the air was cold but driving home the car sounded rougher and louder. I took it back a few days to make sure of the new noise. They drove it around and instead of addressing that, I was told that I needed new struts and other stuff. I wish I had went to my favorite place, Krueger Auto in Cedar Hill. I took my car to the dealership. The dealership found that the cap was left off, and said the oil was dark. Told me about the cheap filter these places use. My engine could have been destroyed. I experienced the most horrible customer service in my ENTIRE life, and was charged erroneously for services and parts that were never rendered just to get my car back after chosing to deny services due to bogus charges and poor customer service. I feel completely disrespected, mishandled and taken advantage of by this place. DO NOT USE this place for ANY of your car needs. YOU will REGReT IT tremendously! Used a Groupon for an oil change and they told me my plug was stripped and that they had to use a special tool to remove it and of course charge me $12 for a new one. I had my car towed here bc it was the closest in my area ! I needed a serpentine belts and a compressor put on my car ! The originally told me it's would be 180 to get it fixed ! Turns out they charged me 277 but that's not it my car breaks down on my kids and I the following day same issue everything they supposedly fixed broke again ! I took my car in for an oil change on a rainy day and when they got through my floor mat was filthy. It was a rainy day and they did not put down any paper mats to keep their feet off of my very clean mat. Now it has to be washed again with soap and water to get all of the oil and dirt mixture off of it! Also when I asked him how $62.99 turned into $70, the guy told me it was all taxes. I knew that didn't sound right. Then I looked at the receipt and there was $3 for disposing of the oil. I took my car in to Kwik Kar after purchasing a coupon on Groupon. A friend notice my car was leaking oil. I took my car into Bob Stallings Hyundai only for them to discover the drain plug was not on tight no washer etc., Oil had drained out was half full and Kwik Kar used after market filters This is what I learned about after market filters " What you should know about aftermarket air filters? Aftermarket air filters usually have shallow , loosely packed pleats . It's a part of the reason why aftermarket air filters are cheap . 2. Filter Material Quality . Even if you find an aftermarket engine air filter with a large surface area, there's still the possibility that the filter material quality itself isn't good. I was informed by dealership all the oil had to be cleaned. I ctc's Jose who said he was the manager who told me to bring it back my car back up there. Why would I bring it back to the person who created the problem. Jose refused to absorb any of the cost and stated "take him to court" and that I will. If someone hadn't noticed the leak. I could have thrown a rod. Now my the oil in my car is almost gone and I'm suppose to bring it back. This was shoddy work and poor customer service. Jose court it will be! read more

They gouged me for a fuel injector service that I probably didn't even need. They made it sound real good too. They explained it, made assumptions about what type of gas I put in my car, pointed to signs hanging in their office space. They charged me $79.99 for a fuel injector service! $79.99! I could've went to Autozone and had it done for $10! Thus with the $34.99 I paid for the oil change, $2.99 in innocuous fees, and the $79.99 fuel injector I spent a grand total of $123.57 when all I needed was an oil change. There was no wait, I drove right up and was out in about 15 minutes. Kendall was the member who attended me and even gave other mechanical tips and suggestions, which was much appreciated. I had a super charger replaced, they installed a used one and when the 6 month warrant ended it went out again. They had my auto for 4 weeks trying to get it done, however every time I went there the part was just lying on the floor. Cost me over 1000.00 dollars.
