I told her, "I don't like long and skinny, I like wide at the bottom and pointed on top". I also mentioned, I don't want thick bulky 1st picture was the shape I wanted and the 2nd was the style/color. I thought this was going to be straightforward and achievable. Right away I was informed I had to get a new full set if I wanted to do ombré'. I agreed even though I only needed a fill. She began the 1st set. They were thin, skinny, and narrow. She had to take them off and start all over. Second set wasn't much of a difference. I showed her the 1st picture again. She couldn't file the shape. Christy the manager had to come and take over. I was trying to make small talk with Christy, but it was apparent that she was bothered as she ignored me. She was rushing and was rough. Meanwhile, her client patiently waited and was friendly. Christy got closer than Vee, but the encounter was uncomfortable Christy asked if I liked them and I responded replied "it's better". I told her I liked her clients shape. Some of my nails came out close to what I wanted .The 3rd picture is what I ended up with. As I paid, the receptionist Candace who approachable and welcoming asked if I liked them and I said I wasn't happy but they tried. I was honest and thought they would make it right being it was my 1st visit. I responded to everyone asking how they did. I was advised to call and talk to Christy. They saw what I saw. I called back today and Christy declined to fix them. She said I told her I loved them. I never said I loved them. Anyone who knows me know I am honest about what I like. Color was off, nails are different shapes and sizes, and the professionalism/quality was not there. I really wanted to support a business in Lake Elsinore, but this is not the place. UPDATE: RESPONSE TO OWNER I called you prior to posting a review. I gave you the opportunity to hear my concerns. You said you would not make any changes to my nails. I had to pay another salon to get them fixed after asking you if you could fix them. Not the way to treat a new local customer.

0 rating i went to go get a basic french pedicure. i was attending by a man that works there. he…read moreasked if i want a trim i just told him to file it down a little. he barely even file anything so i asked him to trim the nails but not to much because i dont want them too short. he trimmed one shorter then the other so then he had to trim doth of them short. when it came down to the color i asked him to apply two DIFFERENT COLORS to see which one i preferred, i picked the one i wanted. when he finished with one foot he went to the other one and i asked him to remove the polish from the right big toe because it looks thick he started to get upset. he said it's not thick but it looked thick which i do not like at all he removed it and he started to put a different color on. so now i have 2 different base color i told him thats not the same color. because it wasnt he kept saying it was it was, another lady that works there approached and asked me whats wrong so she can explain to him. i told her its not the same color he put the color away in the box after that he finally took the color out of the box finished with the base of the french now it came to adding the french tip. as someone who works in a nail salon doing nails. u can clearly see which one is thicker than the other . some trips are thicker than others and cricket at this point i was frustrated and just wanted to leave i was unsatisfied in how he did the job. how i was treated. i dont recommend this place and if u do go don't let the man attend you.

What should have been a simple gel pedicure ended with me being cut. I've had many pedicures over the years and have never been injured like this before. To make matters worse, the technician who started my pedicure didn't even finish it. Halfway through, I was handed off to another person to complete the service, which made the experience feel rushed and impersonal. The overall atmosphere could also use some improvement. I love kids, and I completely understand that life happens, but when I go to get a pedicure, manicure, or any other relaxing service, I expect a calm and professional environment. During my visit, children were in the salon opening and spilling nail supplies, which made the experience feel chaotic rather than relaxing. In my opinion, that isn't the level of professionalism I was expecting. I was really hoping to find a salon close to home that provided quality service, but this experience was very disappointing. Sadly, I'll have to continue my search elsewhere.

I have read the mixed opinions on these reviews and one thing that continues to come up is that they are dirty, even one reviewer wrote about how the nail techs from LA nails use the same dirty implements on different clients as a Nail technician/ Manicurist that makes me furious and their is another reason that I'm am furious my daughter got a pedicure there at LA Nails/lake Elsinore this past June /14 and the end result Cellulitis of the foot/ Staph infection, had to go to urgent care mind you she doesn't have insurance and was given 3 different type of antibiotic which in antibiotics alone was $200 , she still is going through the healing process, that's right like one of the reviewers said " I wouldn't put my feet in a pedicure bowl" well people don't, their sanitation procedures are HORRIBLE!!!!! STATE BOARD of CALIFORNIA needs to step in and pay visits to every salon and shut the business down if it doesn't meet the standard required by the state to operate, these are irresponsible so called Nail spa that don't give a crap about people's health, it is time for people to do their home work,not because a pedicure for $18 looks good or even $12 means that its good. read more

I am very pleased with this salon! The first time I was here I helped drive a friend and the second time was for myself. Both times we waited for about 15 minutes without booking and had Becky work do our nails. She was so sweet and professional and did a great job. My friend was satisfied by the time she was done, and I am definitely satisfied, so I think we'll be coming back with other friends very soon read more

Went back here the other day after not going in a really long time, they still do not do a good job, I got acrylic nails, and they were incredibly thick! I felt like I couldn't do anything with my hands... I now have removed them, couldn't take it. My daughter had a manicure, and it came out ok. so maybe only go here for a manicure, if you must :( read more

My girlfriend loved her nails for our anniversary so much. She doesn't have a yelp but she asked me to post it, she is absolutely obsessed with her nails. Ask for Becky! She is amazing. My girlfriend goes her all the time and gets different designs and shapes and all of them just looks so nice and she is always so happy read more

Always been my go to place. The ladies pay close attention to details and my fills always look great. The wait isn't so bad so I don't know what people are complaining about. Costumer service isn't bad either and the girls are professional and know what they are doing. read more

Thrilled to have found Letting Go in early March when Lorraine put me on a waiting list and got me in on a Friday when another customer cancelled. Perfect timing, too, because it was just a few days prior to me and my mother putting ourselves on "house arrest" because of the C-Virus scare. Although Lorraine is a "nail artist," I told her I only wanted something similar to what I have been doing a long time; purple base with glitter. I asked her, don't you have samples you can show me from a bottle? She says, "We don't do it that way here. I custom-make your gel colour and glitter to your specifications." I showed her some pix of my nails from the other salon, and she used that as a starting point. Now that I trust her implicitly, I will likely let her come up with her own purple colour and glitter ideas next time. It is nearly a month since I had the work done and only ONE nail is starting to chip so far. I hope I can hold out until my house arrest is over, like another month, by clipping the nails carefully. This is a small intimate salon, not crowded with people since is appointment only. Unlike most other salons, the technicians are not rushing, so plan extra time for this type of quality. Also, be prepared to pay more money here than at an assembly line salon, but it is worth every penny of it. (My last nail shop couldn't even get the colours straight cuz the samples were often in the wrong spot with the wrong number). That can't happen here because there are no samples with numbers! I can't wait to go back for my hands and feet, hopefully by late May!
