I took my 11-year-old granddaughter to Nail Me Lounge to get GelX, French tip with a polka dot design, and Kim did an excellent job. I called in the morning and made an appointment for later that day. We arrived about 20 minutes early, and she was able to take my granddaughter within five minutes. I like that we could pay for the service and tip with Zelle or credit card without penalty of charging a fee for using a credit card. They have a sign-in tablet to earn points. I think they are fair with their pricing. The salon is clean. The technicians speak Vietnamese, but communicate in English as well. I would have given a five-star review, except I observed that a nail technician dropped her nail/cuticle clippers on the floor and picked them up with her gloved hand and did not change her gloves or wash her hands, nor did she sanitize the instrument or place it in a soiled container, but proceeded to use it on her client. I am a State Board Licensed Cosmetologist, and licensed to work as a Manicurist. When it comes to safety and sanitation, if she were taking an exam to get her Manicurist License - that is an automatic fail. I plan to take my granddaughter back to Nail Me Lounge, and although I do not live in the area, perhaps when I am in town, I will get my nails done there next time, as well. read more

I haven't gotten my nails done in a few years due to being new to the area but I desperately needed my nails so I found nail me to be local with great reviews which is why I am soo sad that my experience was not the same as others yesterday. My toes are great except for my left big toe and super pricy which I was fine with after she broke it down for me but my full set are honestly horrendous. I asked for almond shape gel x thin french tip. I also wanted to match the color as closely as possible to the reference photo I had but they didn't have the color I chose which I was also ok with and ended up with another color. The ladies at Nail Me Lounge is so sweet, they know customer service. I'm very picky with how my nails are done, it took me two weeks to read reviews and review photos. I came across this nail salon and liked what I read, and decided to take a chance. I did a walk-in because I'm not good with appointments. The nail techs took care of both my daughter and I right away. They listen to what we ask for and checked with us to make sure they're delivering what we ask for. They took their time to make sure our nails are perfect. No short cuts. I have to say, they deliver in every way. I'm glad I found this nail salon. My husband was so happy with my daughter's nail that he made a short video showcasing the art design and fabulous work on the nails. First time coming in to this salon and will never come back ! Me and my friend came in today to get 2 full sets and first thing one of the ladies tell us is that we should get gel x instead of acrylic and we both kindly declined and we finally get sat and the lady starts on me first and i show her a picture of what i wanted and she said yes we can do it perfect as she starts on my hands me and my friend are having a conversation and in the middle of the conversation she tells us that we should talk less and i was completely shocked and so me and my friend were quite and then after the lady finished laying down my acrylics she told me to sit in the others chair so she can start on my friend as she starts putting the tips on her she told us that she has to leave and go pick up her daughter and asked if it's okay to go to the other lady we said yes so we got to her and she finished us up and mine and my friends nails look like disasters my acrylic looks super thick and uneven and she kept telling us that sled should do gel x and kept begging us to do it and it got to a point where it was super annoying needless to say i will never be coming back here this was my birthday set and I'm extremely disappointed read more

Will not be back! Went in with a photo of an ombre French tip.. asked for an acrylic ombre set that matched the photo, she said no I do gel x for you... it was aweful.. I said no thank you, I want acrylic please, she said no gel x better for you... NEVER ONCE mentioning it also costs $15 extra. She sponges on the white after placing an ugly pale bubble gum pink as the base. I kindly expressed that I do not like how it looks and she huffs and says ok then I make it French tip for you, it's better any way... worst looking French tip ever.. literally just a line of white... no shape or ending point. $85 for a crap look is not ok, taking advantage of a customer and doing whatever you want, also not ok. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. I also had a pedicure that was just white polish, she insisted it be white gel, that was another $45. read more

I usually have a good experience here, but today was disappointing. I asked for a gel removal, and the technician used an electric tool to file it all off instead of soaking it. She burned me multiple times, and when I pointed out the proper process, she got defensive and insisted she had soaked my nails, which she hadn't. She then angrily handed me off to another technician, but by that point, my fingers were already hurting. Now my nails are almost stained brown/black and there's bubbles. I've never dealt with this before, so my assumption is that it's related to getting my fingernails sawed off. I was the only customer there, so I don't see why there was such a rush. I went to this location about two weeks ago for a pedicure. I had an event to go to that night and all I wanted was a basic pedicure and polish change. First of all the lady was super loud and rude telling me what type of pedicure I should get because my feet were dry and she said I needed callus remover out loud in front of everybody, but Lil does she know I have all the tools at home to do myself. I kindly let her know that I wanted to stick with the pedicure that I told her and she proceeds with that. She then is rushing my service and "slices of big cut on my big toe." that's way larger than normal and is now bleeding. She says nothing and tries to put some type of topical ointment on it to try to make it better when she finishes the polish that she's rushing with. She ends up messing up two toes and having to redo them and when she redid them, she did not even put any clearcoat on top. It was rushed. I told her to fix it then she got mad when I didn't give her a tip. She really should've been lucky that I paid for my service at all. Nails were left bulky and uneven. Had to ask during my service to have the white fixed twice and it is still different for all my nails. I was charged $70 for this full set which is the most I've ever paid in this city for just a full set. Seems to have been done by someone who was just practicing because she was getting flustered and it took her almost 2 hours. My mom ended up not getting her nails done due to how long it took and the other nail tech saying she can only do pedicures only to take another walk in for a fill.
