This was our second visit to L'Antoinette. The food and service were impeccable. The French onion consommé is a must try as well as the salmon and gnocchi. They also have specials in addition to their regular menu every evening. Dessert was also wonderful--chocolate cake and brioche bread pudding with fresh whipped cream. To die for. A group of 16 of us came to this restaurant to celebrate two birthdays. We had a reservation and arrived at 6:30 - the restaurant was not busy at the time. It took a long time for us to get service and to get our orders taken. The waiter took our appetizer and entree orders at the same time and told us that both would come out together. After we pushed back, they finally agreed to space out the appetizers and entrees. We did not get our food until 8:45. They did not offer us anything to make up for the long wait time and poor service we were receiving. 20% gratuity was already included in the bill so we did not feel that the waiter was incentivized to provide good service. The manager never approached our table to acknowledge the long wait times. Overall, it was a very poor experience, at least with a large group, and the word will be spread. read more

L'Antoinette is a super French-ish new restaurant in Crabapple. Let's review our recent visits. There is plenty of parking in the adjacent garage, and the walk is short to the front door. The space is dark, warm and inviting with a large bar to the right when entering. Think date night appropriate. There are perhaps 20 tables, and the tables are nicely spaced so that there is plenty of room between you and other guests. The wine list is fairly small for a French restaurant, and on a recent visit the posted Pouilly Fuisse by the glass was not in stock yet, limiting choices further. The food is unexpectedly good, but unexpectedly different, too. For example, steak and frites.... The steak is nicely prepared and the menu claims an Epaule, or shoulder cut. Traditionally in French or Belgian brasseries this dish is a rump cut or an entrecôte, or rib cut, but I'm not being picky. The approximately 1 inch thick steak at L'Antoinette came out tasty and perfectly medium, as ordered, accompanied by large rectangles of pomme frites, or fried potatoes - very untraditional in presentation, and much heavier than expected. We prefer authentic frites, but the dish was very good. L'Antoinette has sole. The fish. And for me it's the standout entree. Typically I've seen sole pan sautéed in Europe, but here they bread and deep fry a de-boned whole cut of the fish, with curly tail still on. And it is delicious. Moist white meat inside. Crusty outside. The buerre noisette, or browned butter with lemon, was a perfect, light accompaniment. Again, fried sole may not be a traditional French presentation, but this dish is outstanding! The coq au vin scared me away on my first visit. I saw pearl onions in the preparation and it reminded me of my mother's frozen peas and pearl onions when I was a kid. But I was brave on a recent dining experience, and while chicken can be boring this entree was amazing, exceeding all expectations. Tender and juicy chicken is presented, braised in red wine along with trumpet mushrooms, haricot blanc and the aforementioned pearl onions. Even the onions were terrific. Great job, chef. Sorry, mom. Bread service is extra. They source from Theo's Brothers Bakery, the best bakery in the area, so while charging extra for bread is sadly on trend now, at least the small baguette you get here is top notch. Pro tip. Order the Moules appetizer (which is classic and terrific) and complimentary bread comes to help mop up the brothy goodness. For Miss M the best thing on the menu is the crème brûlée done in a bananas foster kind of way. She said it's the best she's ever had, and that says a lot coming from her. Service is just ok. They seem a little understaffed for a restaurant that's trying to be an experience, but the food makes up for the service. The service, however, pushes L'Antoinette towards a more casual experience rather than sophisticated one. Overall, Resto L'Antoinette is a great addition to the downtown Crabapple dining scene. It's good enough for a sexy weekend date night, but casual enough for a Tuesday evening. I wish them much success! read more

First time at L'Antoinette tonight. Very, very good! The bartender makes as great Aperol spritz! We enjoyed everything we had, particularly the oysters. We sat at the outdoor bar and the weather was perfect. Service was excellent. We will be back. read more

My husband and I decided to dine here based on the menu options... all of choices including the calamari/lobster dish, the escargot, and aged salmon were cooked to perfection! The service was excellent and the staff was very attentive. There was plenty of parking in the area as well. This is a lovely restaurant! The decor is beatufilly done, very cozy and welcoming while elegant. The food was outstanding, small but very creative menu providing choices for all types of proteins and small plates. One of our guest had a glutten allergy and was able to find many options to choose from. Service was very good, the waiter was always attentetive to our needs, explained the menu for all our guests and gave us some excellent wine recomendations to pair with our food choices! read more

We had a superior experience for dinner last night. The staff handled our large party with ease and made sure everyone was attended to. The food was delicious -- I had the sole and it was outstanding. I sampled my husband's steak and was beyond impressed. Would recommend for a great meal and cozy setting. read more

Service and ambience is 5 stars. I'm disappointed in the scope of the menu. It is very limited. My husband had the coq au vin and it was bland. We both loved the appetizers however. I would recommend cocktails and apps at their gorgeous bar until the entree menu gets better. read more

L'Antoinette has a fabulous location and delicious espresso martini!! We came for Christmas dinner as a family on 12/23 and started with the salmon and duck appetizer, which were great. Our server, Nolan, was attentive and kind. We enjoyed our main courses, especially the coq a vin. The star of the night, however, were the desserts! We got one of each but the pear/apple tart was the best. read more

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Resto L'Antoinette on 12/30/23 and enjoyed a wonderful experience. We can highly recommend the mussels, Coq Au Vin, French Onion Consomme (prepared table side with a French press for the consomme) and the bread service. The ambiance is delightful with soft background music allowing an atmosphere comfortable for conversation at your table and/or the bar. We made a reservation and were warmly greeted by David upon our arrival. Our server was Riley and she did an excellent job of caring for us. Enjoy! read more

I found a slice of heaven to satisfy my craving for French bistro food, and right in Milton! The room is perfect. Comfortable, relaxing, great bar, and I can't wait for it to warm up so we can try the outside patio. Service was impeccable, but not at all pretentious or overly fussy. Just right. The food was fantastic in every way. I can't wait to visit enough times to try everything on the menu! The wine list is small, but well curated, and many great choices by the glass, and fairly priced too. Prices reflect the quality ingredients used, but not at all over priced. The only thing French about this restaurant are the prices. Don't be fooled. This is American food at inflated prices and the American food is OK not fantastic. Service was very good however as I stated, I was expecting at least some French food there was none. read more

Wife and I had an impromptu date night and decided to try this new restaurant in our Crabapple neighborhood. We decided to sample the wine list as well as a few appetizers. We savored the steak tartar, mussels and fritto misto. The service was excellent and friendly. We finished the night by sharing a decadent banana bread pudding with caramel sauce. Can't wait to go back...and so grateful to have this caliber of restaurant so close by! read more

Nice little gem in what I guess is downtown. Fewer than 15 tables but a nice sized bar. We were greeted at one of the owners and chose to sit at the bar. Split a few appetizers, entree and dessert. Very limited menu but still had trouble choosing as all the options were excellent. Also a small wine list but again plenty to choose from. We'll definitely be back. read more

WOW! If you are in Milton/Crabapple/Alpharetta/N Roswell area, Resto L'Antoinette is a must add to your dining list! Intimate dining with beautiful decor, amazing food and fabulous service - definitely a GREAT upscale "modern french" addition to the usual tavern/sports bar restaurants in the area. We had the pleasure of dining there for the first time Saturday night and could not have been more pleased. We started with a selection of appetizers; mussels with amazing broth and extraordinary bread to dip, fabulous salmon and steak tartare - all exceptional. For the main, we enjoyed the grilled shoulder steak (delicious and tender as butter!) and 3 specials of the evening - a fabulous veal chop with an amazing mushroom sauce, rib eye with same mushroom sauce and an amazing grilled halibut with a terrific light curry sauce...all were delicious! And we shared AMAZING deserts - you can't go wrong with any. Wine list was affordable, wait staff (Lindsay and Connor) were fabulous, manager David was a terrific host and HUGE complements to Chef Jeffrey - everything was exceptional! Thanks to all.
