FYI, Al Pastor comes w/ pineapples, but you can easily request it off if you prefer it without. the onions, cilantro, & radishes on the side complement the meats so well & i appreciate that they also double the tortillas, as they are generous with the portions they add. lastly, you have to get the orange sauce, definitely a welcome addition to any order & it has a bit of a spicy kick. only thing is that i wish they had some seating, but i tend to just eat my meals in the car or to-go my orders. definitely check this place out if in the Sunnyvale area!

No complaints here. Solid spot!

They gave me a spicy salsa with it and i also ordered the horchata. The burrito was soo good and huuuge tho i did finish it in two separate sittings. The spicy salsa pairs well with it, plenty of meat and grilled onions and jalepenos and pico de gallo inside The horchata is the perfect color and tastyyy. Sweettt but so good! Recommend!

I'm not sure if I completely missed it, but I couldn't find the salsa bar that so many other reviews mention. I checked both the indoor seating area and around the food truck itself, so maybe I was just blind that day. The sauces themselves were honestly really good though, maybe even a little too good because I feel like I drowned out a lot of the actual meat flavor in both the taco and burrito. The orange sauce has a really nice spicy kick that I enjoyed a lot, and the green sauce tasted super fresh and flavorful. They also gave extra grilled onions on the side, which seriously elevated the whole meal for me. Service was pretty quick and everything came out hot and fresh, which I appreciated. I did have a little bit of difficulty communicating with the cashier since there was a slight language barrier and my Spanish is pretty limited, but we still managed to get everything sorted out without too much trouble! I would definitely come again another day for lunch!

I recommend taking the food "for here" if you have some time to spare so you can experiment with their salsas, which are the stars of the show. Just be careful and try not to load the tacos up as much as I did, because the salsas tend toward spicy (my favorite). Don't miss out on their pickled carrots, onions, and jalapeños. All tacos come with grilled onions and lime, which are excellent additions. I tried the Al pastor, asada, carnitas, and chicharrón. My favorite were the carnitas, which were well seasoned and tender. The Al pastor had a good balance of sweetness from the pineapple. The asada was solid. The chicharrón was kind of gelatinous and I didn't enjoy the texture but that's more a stylistic choice than me thinking they were bad.

Lupita's is an eatery serving authentic Mexican cuisine, located in an unnamed shopping center on El Camino Real in Santa Clara. Luckily, I was able to find a spot to park in the tiny lot. I visited before they expanded as a panadería. At that time, the venue was small, a single, clean & cozy dining room with hardwood flooring, blue painted walls, wooden tables & chairs, and decorative ceiling tiles. Maximum occupancy was likely about 80 persons. I purchased for to-go, so didn't receive any table service after placing 2 A LA CARTE orders of Flautas (3, $8.50) + One Flauta (1, $2.99) at the counter. I requested that each flauta be cut in half and all the toppings packed separately in different containers. My requests were happily granted with a warm smile and the Flautas, filled with shredded chicken, were fried to a perfectly golden crisp. Too bad that I live too far from Lupita's to frequent. I would love to return to dine in, especially now that they double as a taquería and panadería.
