If you are looking for a cute spot to vibe at with great music, this is it! I have been here twice and both times I have enjoyed myself. The hookah flavors are limited to mint and love but, $20 is pretty unbeatable. They have a good amount of seating but the place cant get crowded. Last time we went, the female waitress was AMAZING. She put us in a booth in the back even though we were only 3 because we did not want the high top table by the door (and other patrons were not leaving) and we truly appreciated it. The food is good but some dishes are better than others. For example, this is not the place to order calamari. They have a happy hour menu that has great options. Let's start off with the Pros/Cons: sadly I have more Cons. Pros: The only real pro of this establishment is the music. It's definitely a 10/10, different DJ's which all had different vibes going on, they play all genres of music which is a plus. Last Pro, would be the nachos. My friend ordered their ground beef nachos and they were delicious. Cons: This place gets 2/5 stars from me for the attitude I received from two servers when I didn't like my dish and asked for it to be made with the opposite sauce which was barbecue instead of buffalo. The buffalo sauce was very tangy, strong in taste. None of us liked that flavoring. The wings came plain instead with barbecue and ranch on the side which was a nice gesture to not have anymore redos. My server didn't speak English, thank God my friend was with me that did speak Spanish because then the night would've been real difficult. My last con would be the drinks, they are overly strong, not everyone wants a glass of tequila with a splash of juice. If I order a cocktail I would like it to be fruity, tasty, easy to drink. I really don't know why I wasted my time at this establishment. From the moment we walked in I knew it would be a crappy experience. Our waiter took 20 minutes to take our dinner orders. The whole time she was flirting at the bar, or sitting in the back on her phone. When we tried to get her attention, she completely acted as if she didn't see us. Once we received our food, it was completely burnt and borderline inedible. We ordered the chicken fajitas, which was so burnt it blended in with the cast iron pan it was served in. We requested to have this made over, and was served to us in half the time the original order was prepared, which makes me skeptical. Take your money elsewhere people! read more

Finally a nice burger spot in this location. For some reason every business that try to survive on this corner has failed. In the past few years their has been so many different business owners and all of them would close really fast. Angry burgers is here to stay i love the name and the logo from outside. The burgundy colors is awesome and the theme is outstanding. Everything in this place makes you feel like your money is spent the right way. Its easy to get to this place, You can take the 1 train and get off in 191 ST, Or you can take the a train and get of in the same stop, It's pretty much the same walking distance if you take either trains. You can also take the 7 or 100 bus line, It would leave you right in front of the place. Awesome music and friendly bartenders. The beer selection is very surprising. They have a bit of everything. The menu is nice and easy, Just a cute place overall. The staff is very welcoming, This is a place were you would want to try I'm glad these guys know how to serve their clients right. I came to this place for happy hour a couple of months ago with my boyfriend and wasn't to pleased. They had 2x1 drinks but they were too sweet. Tasted like syrup. The food on the other hand was OK. I ordered the chicharrón de pollo with tostones. The chicken was really good but the tostones were a bit soggy. As if they weren't fried completely. Not sure if I'd come back for happy hour. Nice place for a Friday night out with some friends. On the smaller side, so there might be a bit of wait if you're planning to go with a big party. The food here is good. Had the lobster Mac and cheese and it was pretty good, really cheesy, but had little to no lobster. I had originally thought they might of gave me the plain one by accident until I came across a string of lobster. Get the regular Mac, it's cheaper and essentially the same thing. We also had the calamari, mofongito and guac. The calamari was fine, the steak mofongito has a sweet twist and the guac is kinda how everyone else reviews it to be. Okay so I'm going to have to give this place a 3 start for many reasons. One main reason being that the waiter did not come around at all !!!! My friends ordered their food which I'm glad they really enjoyed but I never got to order food and just changed my mind since the waiter never came around after. Also my drink which was basically a shot of Tito was 10$ and tasted like cheap vodka I was definetly swindled on that since I never ordered actual food. I like its location in the Heights on Broadway near West 190th Street. That said it is very much a typical Dominican joint with so-so food and drinks on its menu. Unfriendly, bothersome employee or owner kept bugging me as I sat outdoors reading and comprehending the menu. I finally said to the tall man, 'hey, I guess you don't want me here?' Enjoyed this place last night. It's still cute. The layout has not changed at all from the way the previous restaurant at that location looked. The service was outstanding! As soon as I came in, I was greeted, seated, and given some popcorn to munch on. I had a glass of wine to start, as part of their happy hour which ended at 7pm. I did not get to try their burgers, as I was not in the mood for beef and there was no turkey burger on the menu. They should definitely consider adding one soon. Yes, they also have a veggie burger, a salmon burger and a crab burger but I was a little skeptical about trying them, especially after reading an awful review about their salmon burger. Until I read a review that says it's good, I probably won't try it. I tried their brandy crab dip that comes with pita chips, and I must say it was extremely tasty. I really liked it. I just wish they would have offered more pita chips in order to finish the dip. I also tried the fish and chips and it was not bad at all. The fish was not fried crispy how I like, however it was still good. One thing that caught my attention is the fact I was not given a cocktail menu, or maybe there is none. I didn't ask although I should have. It would be nice to know if they sell sangrias (although another yelper said they do), margaritas, mojitos etc. Angry burger should definitely want to entice their customers to buy cocktails aside from beer and wine. The first thing I did when I was given the bill was check if they added gratuity, and they didn't! Yay! That was certainly a plus for me. I detest when businesses do this, and they tend to do this a lot for parties of 2 in Washington Heights. They get brownie points for that lol. I've only been here during the afternoon so I haven't seen its full potential but it's a nice vibe. The frozen margaritas (my favorite) are pretty good priced around $5 during their happy hour. I wish the music would've been livelier both times I've visited, but then again, there wasn't really that many people when I went and it was still early in the day. Went here for a small holiday brunch with some friends on a Saturday afternoon . It was pretty empty when we were there but it was also nice that it wasn't packed . The one-star reviews are all correct. Slow service: We waited almost two hours for our food. There are only three items from which to choose in each pre fix section of the brunch menu. There is no coffee. Only mimosa and a Jack Daniels mixed drink. Really. They refused to offer us anything else. My wife ordered a burger, and she received pancakes. Once we told them this was incorrect, they took another 30 minutes to replace the burger, which took so long my wife left with our baby daughter, who had to nap. When I approached the waitress about our bill and asked her to not include the burger, she became argumentative and told me she couldn't remove the burger without her manager's approval. When I asked to speak with her manager, she told me I could wait to talk to the manager who didn't get in until 4pm (this was at 2pm on a Sunday). When I suggested she call her manager on the phone, she told me I was being rude. Our group was about 10 people, so I went back and gathered my things to leave. The bill came out and they'd removed the burger from the bill. Clearly, she didn't need her manager's approval to remove the item that never came. As I left, I approached the waitress and thanked her for removing the item, but she wouldn't look up from her phone on which she was texting. Long story short: Don't go here for the food. Looks like it's a hopping place for nightlife, and I'd probably care less if I were wasted. However, this is not a restaurant. It's certainly not run like one, and the food below average. read more

Sat outside with some friends and we each ordered a margarita from the lady that came out to take our order (we had just ate at Locksmith across the street -bomb food/drinks, so we just wanted to check out this spot and have a drink there). On the scanned menu I saw the margs priced at $13.25 when ordering it, but one of my friends says it was priced $16.25. Either way, somehow she billed us $103.66 for 5 margaritas. We didn't realize until way after having left but either she charged an extra or included the tip on that total- yet she also hand-wrote on the receipt the tip was to be given cash, so we figured it was not included on the total and left her a cash tip. Conveniently she did not bring back the receipt when she came back for the CC sign off, for us to see what was included and what not. If at least the margaritas had been good I wouldn't have minded doubling tipping this lady "by mistake" or having been charged for an extra drink "by mistake", but the tequila they use is definitely cheap. And most important we don't appreciate dishonesty. Bottom line, make sure you double check your bill before singing off a CC charge in this place. read more
