Aguadito de pollo (cilantro chicken soup with rice), lomo saltado, house salad and passion fruit juice
    Neva W.

Few things bring us more joy than supporting an outstanding small business! During our extended honeymoon in Palm Springs, we discovered Inka. The service was phenomenal and the food is delicious. The fresh passion fruit juice was the cherry on top. Highly recommend the aguadito de pollo and lomo saltado. The waiter brought some fresh hot green sauce and chimichurri and I put that on everything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a cute family run business with good vibes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back next time we are in town.

My family and I came here on Christmas Day after an online order elsewhere had been cancelled. We were starving and were just happy to find somewhere open that would seat the 6 of us! We were seated immediately and our server was awesome! We ordered the lomo saltado, the arroz chaufa con pollo, and arroz con pollo. Everything was SO good!!! They brought a chimichurri and hot sauce to the table- try both. Delicious. I basically inhaled my food as well as whatever else my other family members didn't eat. If you haven't tried this spot, you need to!! The lomo saltado was awesome especially with the chimichurri added to the beef. 10/10 would recommend.

    Lomo salads ( onion saltado)

I was excited to try this Peruvian restaurant, but unfortunately I was disappointed. I ordered the lomo saltado, and for almost $30, I expected a much better portion. The plate had mostly onions and tomatoes, with only about six small pieces of beef. There was very little food overall, and it felt extremely overpriced for what was served. While the flavor was decent, the portion size and amount of meat did not justify the price. I hope they improve the portions because authentic Peruvian food deserves better representation.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Listen, we live in Los Angeles. We stayed out here to work for Coachella Weekend. We came for dinner last night, we came back AGAIN for dinner tonight. Our server, Mario, was absolutely charming and very attentive and led us into the right direction on both visits on deciding what to order. Night 1 Hers: Pescado a Ajo A fried sea bass topped with a roasted garlic and cilantro wine sauce on top of grilled potatos and white rice. It was so incredibly delicious and perfectly cooked and for a person who LOVES garlic it was heaven in each bite. His: Pollo alo Pobre Grilled chicken breast served with french fries, sweet plantains, fried eggs and white rice. Night #2 Causa Acevechada Mashed potatoes seasoned with lemon juice and yellow pepper, served with fish, sliced red onions, and avocado ** not only delicious with lime, and creamy mashed potatoes, but perfect bites of fish and yummy avocado. Perfectly balanced and light for warm weather. A must!!! Dish #2 Tallarin a la Huancaina con Lomo Saltado.... Strip of filet mignon sauteed with red onions, tomatoes, soy sauce, vinegar and cilantro. Mixet in fettuccini and Huancaina sauce, a traditional Peruvian sauce made with white cheese , yellow pepper, milk and salt ** talk about comfort food on a plate, it barely survived two people, the fettuccine was cooked perfect, the filet mignon, super tender, 1000% flavorsss. Heaven in every bite. All the negative reviews on here, I'm not understanding... because our service was beyond phenomenal with Mario. Our water glasses were never empty, constant refills, continual check-ins. The music was so fun, the seating and lighting was immediate and comfortable! We will definitely be back, we found our new favorite Peruvian spot.

Second time year in two years (two visits) Place did not let us down, maybe even better this time. Both times we opted for dishes with pasta and happy with them all. Nice service and both times we went on weekdays so it was a bit quiet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not sure what it is like on a busy weekend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be back for sure.

Ordered the Tallarin Saltado de Carne and the Pollo à la Pobre. Portions were big. Food was delicious. Steak was great (not chewy or overcooked) and there was plenty of meat in both dishes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly service and good looking restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is so delicious! We came here for a team dinner. We got the ceviche appetizer and another meat appetizer, the ceviche was so good! I ordered the lomo saltado and the strawberry pisco sour. Yall... the food was delicious! Would recommend and probably might be back for dinner before we head out. I'm

Food: This place was absolutely incredible! I was blown away by my dish, the Tallarin Saltado de Carne. The filet mignon was perfectly well made while the sauce for the noodles and vegetables was exactly as it should taste like, a tangy almost soy saucy flavor. I had been on the hunt for a Peruvian restaurant that makes authentically tasting food, and this is it! I will definitely be back here to try more of their delicious plates! 5/5 Ambiance: [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a Saturday night so they had live music which made sitting outside even more of a lovely atmosphere as the front door let sounds of the music out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 5/5 Service: The service was amazing. Staff would check in often to refill water and was very attentive throughout. Loved their friendliness as well. 5/5

Maracuya / Passionfruit juice was nice

I finally got to try Peruvian food & had such a nice early dinner! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was plenty of seating indoors & out front, but was still too hot to sit outside (and very humid + misters).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm sure it'll be nice in the coming months. Food: - I ordered the Tallarin Verde con Pollo which was a chicken pesto fettuccine dish. The chicken was a good portion & juicy. The pasta was more than plenty (saving some for later). - My dad got the seafood fried rice (shrimp + calamari), which looked great. I almost got the same without calamari (which has whole pieces). The calamari is too obvious for me, so I get squirmy haha. - Drinks: Maracuya aka Passionfruit juice, my favorite juice!! Service was kind, polite, and calm. We were seated quickly, food came at a decent amount of time after, and server checked on us just a bit. Would be nice to try more things in the future because I definitely saw some other options I was considering.

So many restaurants in Downtown Palm Springs were crowded and required reservations, so we stumbled upon Inka Peruvian Cuisine and were very happy that we found it! I loved their Lomo Saltado. The steak was cooked to my liking and the sauce was so flavorful. Steak, fries, and rice are the best combination and this meal definitely satisfied my cravings.

Inka Peruvian Cuisine During our weekend visit to Palm Springs, we tried this restaurant for the first time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was clean, beautiful, and had excellent service, especially from Mario.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] OUR WATER IS SUPERB!!! WAS AMAZING!! Great waiter, excellent service. Thank you, Mario, we will be returning and hope to continue receiving excellent service!! FOOD: wonderful. If you are new to Peruvian food, stick to the typical dishes like "lomo Saltado" so you can get a good taste of what the flavor is like. Our food was good, really yummy, and full of flavor. SEAFOOD: incredibly wonderful, with an abundance of flavor that was both intense and fresh. STEAK: the steak was snot very delicious I don't think this is the best spot for steaks; my partner ordered a steak, which was undercooked and frozen within. So don't order steak here. All other dishes were fantastic. DRINKS: There is a wide assortment of drinks, including alcohol, and there is a large bar. PRICE: Well, it's Palm Springs, so the costs are not cheap, but they're affordable compared to other areas. Overall, GREAT RESTARUANT AUTHENTIC PERUVIAN FOOD, THE FLAVOR IS JUST THE BEST, AND STICK TO THE TRADITIONAL PLATES, YOU WILL LOVE IT..!! I WILL RETURN, VERY NICE PLACE FOR A GREAT DINNER AND DRINKS. 100% suggest this restaurant. SUGGESTION: To the owner, please have some bread on the table; it will make a tremendous impact A basket of warm bread isn't just for steakhouses; it might be something to add to your menu, or we could order a basket of bread and buy it. Kindly add some bread so customers have a choice to order it.

Don't forget to drink El leche del Tigre!
    Johnny S.

So many great things to say about this restaurant but the main thing is that the cooks are Peruvian. That makes a huge difference when comparing Peruvian restaurants and the authenticity of the ingredients used to make certain dishes as there are many substitutes your can use for certain dishes. I definitely recommend Inka Peruvian Cuisine if you're in Palm Springs.

We shared a bunch of dishes, which is definitely the way to experience the menu. The cocktails (not pictured) were fantastic--whether you're in the mood for a timeless classic or something a little more whimsical, there's something for everyone. The escargot was beautifully prepared and made even better by the perfectly char-grilled baguette that came alongside it. The steak tartare was an absolute flavor bomb with great seasoning, especially paired with the house-made potato chips. It leaned a touch salty, but in a way that made it the perfect appetizer and somehow had us ordering another round of cocktails. The grilled artichokes were simple, smoky, and delicious. The red curry mussels were served with that same incredible bread and an aromatic, deeply flavorful broth that we didn't want to leave behind. The smoked pork chop was another standout--beautifully charred on the outside while staying perfectly juicy inside. Beyond the food, the service was fabulous, attentive, but not rushed. The atmosphere is quintessential Palm Springs: stylish, colorful, well-lit and a lively environment overall. It made for a memorable birthday celebration, and everyone in our group left happy. We'll absolutely be back.

Reservations are notoriously hard to get, but we got lucky with a last-minute walk-in and were seated after 15-20 min wait. There's plenty of parking, and if you do have to wait, they have a cute little covered outdoor seating area with chairs and tables where you can relax. We sat on the patio, which was surprisingly cool and comfortable, so don't let the Palm Springs heat scare you away. The whole restaurant has such a sexy, colorful, candlelit vibe that somehow feels both lively and intimate. We kept the drinks simple and ordered Hugo Spritzes, which were refreshing and perfectly made for a hot afternoon. What we ordered: * Caramelized Onion Tart (Puff pastry, chive, Comté) - This was recommended by our server and I can see why. It reminded me of French onion soup wrapped in a flaky puff pastry. Rich, savory, and definitely shareable since it is a bit on the heavier side. * Red Thai Curry Mussels (PEI mussels, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, red chile, coconut milk) - WOW. This was hands down my favorite dish. The broth was incredible, rich and packed with flavor without feeling too heavy. I was worried the lemongrass might overpower everything, but it was perfectly balanced. It comes with toasted bread and trust me, you'll want every last drop of that broth. I'd honestly come back just for this dish. * Steak Frites - The steak was cooked perfectly medium and was delicious. The fries were crispy and seasoned well, making it a classic done right. * Broccolini - Simple but really good with a nice char that added great flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The atmosphere is one of the best parts..beautiful, moody, and full of personality..but the food absolutely held its own. Service was friendly, the patio was comfortable, and now I completely understand why it's one of Palm Springs' hardest reservations to get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

I've heard a lot of things about this place but have never been. Same concept with other speakeasy…read moreas in hidden doors, special word, a knock and so on. Well this one, located in the Arena area of Palm Springs. Theres no name or signs anywhere. You just have to know where to look. Try opening doors and see which one opens. We were walking back to the car when I noticed the doors. As l had heard so much about it but didn't know where it was. Well lucky me, I opened the door with the first try. I had an idea on where it was but didn't know where. That's where the 4 stars come in. As I had the door open, I could hear from the bar area a gentleman yelling out shut the door. Ok, I get the dark hidden concept but yelling out like that, kind of rude. Do you not want people in. It was about 11pm when we walked in. You enter and it's a dark hallway straight to the bar. That'll be what you see right when you walk in. Place is covered in a dark damask wallpaper and only light are small fixtures. So dark and demure. Bar area is the main attraction with all the seating. There's a few hi tops along the wall as well as some seating in the back area. I'm not sure how big the place is as we only went straight to the bar and sat down. The menu is printed to resemble vintage newspaper. The dark mysterious room with tufted seats and dim lights is what this place is all about. But of course you can't leave out the drinks. Centered of the bar wall, there's Udo Kier watching you. Anyways, down to the drinks. Printed on the newspaper was a perfect touch. I went with the pisco sour and we had the bartender make something else with mescal. An updated smoke and mirror I believe. Drinks were excellent which we expected. The whole place is really dark and mysterious which was a nice touch. It wasn't that busy when we arrived Friday night. A couple of people in the back area which we definitely could hear...lol... There was no list to get in as we just walked in. The only downfall with the rating, the rude remark when we walked in with shutting the door all the way from the bar area. Yes we heard it from outside. There were two bartenders working , but we did chat with one of them and she was a sweetheart. Informed us that they too will be closed down for the summer holiday but will be renovating. Places out here closes at least a month for summer holidays and with the slow season due to the heat. First impression of this place, besides the rude remark was we really liked it. The drinks were great and tasty. It's not super big but more intimate. Can get a little loud as people are talking over each other. Could be the alcohol.... It's someplace I would visit again with people who I know will appreciate it.

I love this dark little getaway. The style is spot on - the dark velvet damask wall paper, the…read moreintimate table lighting, and the "newspaper" acting as the cocktail menu is speakeasy cool. The bartender was super helpful and made me a "Smoke & Mirror" (mezcal base) is hands-down the very best cocktail EVER!!!!

I forgot his name but the bartender was very nice and you could tell he likes his job. We got there and ordered a drink, and we're lucky enough to get a free order of some delicious bread sticks. The drink was very tasty for a decent price, so I would come back for more drinks.

It caught our attention as we had stayed in two different Kimpton Hotels in Seattle prior. We wanted to grab a drink at the Window Bar (not knowing that was its actual name, but the conversation we had with the bartender about that window shining too much light at certain parts of the morning definitely gave me a chuckle in hindsight). We happened to be a bit early since he had not been able to finish setting up shop yet. We went ahead and waited until he was ready without rushing him because we ourselves weren't in any rush at all. Surrounded by a ton of nice interesting artwork, it was a pure joy to enjoy a drink or two in this environment. The bar can be found at the corner on the other side of the hotel concierge in plain sight from such a big space for a lobby, directly left upon entrance through the front. Since it was slow in the morning, we were able to chat it up with the bartender and even explore a bit of experimentation in the form of a particular top secret cocktail that every mixologist knows. I definitely exercised my etiquette and reading the conditions to even suggest it. He couldn't be any nicer about our time with him. So yeah, Christopher H. from 9/9/18, I don't know what you're talking about. I make it a point to visit the bar at any Kimpton location nowadays. I always seem to have a good time. But then again, I can only speak for myself. Parking: Street, unless you're a guest at the hotel. FYI: - Despite the hours on Yelp saying this place is open from 4-10pm, they might open earlier, as we joined in at around 11am or noon. But don't hold me to it. If there's somebody at the bar, you'll need to simply ask if it is open yet.
