Best garlic boiled crab legs in Houston. They were succulent and full of garlic cloves. I'm glad I came here.

Quality service as they seated our group of 13 well and never got annoyed or upset. Crawfish was above average and the corn was great. Not amazing but definitely would be willing to go again! read more

Ordered extra spicy crawfish, 5lbs. Added and paid for extra corn and potatoes. Came home and took the corn and potatoes out and weighed it on my food scale and it came out to 3lbs. They weigh with the corn and potatoes I suppose. Over priced for small crawfish and there wasn't any spice. Also asked for butter dipping sauce. Was charged extra for it but they never gave it to me. Not worth the price tag. Go somewhere else. Bland and flavourless. And your paying for something you're not getting. read more

Amazing! I went once on a friend's rec and we ordered the five spice basil chicken wings, crawfish pho, and beignet fries. the wings were out of this world. i eat a lot of wings and these were the best i have ever had in my life. perfectly crisp, amazingly spiced, and HUGE. the pho was unique and fun. the beignet fries were awesome and fresh with condensed milk (i think) that made them better than cafe du monde in new orleans. was so good went back the next day with a diff group and we ordered those items plus cajun curry, garlic noodles, and spicy garlic wings. the curry was super yummy and creative conceptually. the garlic noodles were an explosion of umami with tablespoons of fried garlic. the wings were as expected also impeccably seasoned and cooked. overall one of my fav restaurants in the moment because of a creative menu, good execution, and bold flavors. read more

I went on Friday night with my kids thinking that this was going to be great. We waited in line for a while outside and when we finally got into the restaurant one of the employees told me that they only had frozen crawfish. I was not happy about this at all. I've been to many places since January and the crawfish is fresh, very small though. We get to the counter and I order 6 lbs of crawfish. 3 lbs medium spice cajun and the other 3lbs medium spice garlic. The crawfish was 6.99/lb which I think is kinda pricey for frozen crawfish. I also ordered 6 spicy garlic wings. We received our order and the crawfish was not good at all. It was not seasoned and there was no medium spice to any of the orders. My daughter did not eat them after trying the crawfish. The wings were so good. I will go back for them, but I was not impressed by the crawfish at all. I was very disappointed after reading all of the reviews and being a crawfish connoisseur. read more

I wasn't impressed with this place at all. First of all, it's impossible to find parking and by the time we got in the restaurant, most of the tables were already filled up! When it came time to order our crawfish, they told us they ran out of Cajun seasoning. How the heck does a Crawfish joint run out of seasoning? Anyways, we got out crawfish and a lot of them just looked so sad - small, limp and/or discolored. If you want good crawfish, go to Crawfish and Biegnets! read more

Got food poisoning after eating here yesterday. Not to mention, the crawfish are frozen and taste like mud.

I had 6 spicy garlic wings again for lunch and they were awesome! The flavor was on point...as always! Hit the spot.

So i waited to go there twice to get a fair review. I got 3 pound of crawfish 1 pound of shrimp. 2 cajun extra spicy and one garlic butter. The spice on the cajun is peeeeerrrrfect! however, the more pounds you order the more likely they will include frozen crawfish. I was so dissappointed. The flavor couldnt mask the texture of the not fresh crawfish. Shrimp were a bit overcooked but decent. Wont be back read more

Crawfish season was kind of over but I had some people coming from out of town and really wanted them to try crawfish! LA crawfish was the only place with boiled crawfish and we hesitantly placed an order of garlic butter crawfish over the phone. Lo and behold the crawfish was really really yummy! It was a bit spicy (the only three options were medium, spicy or hot) so if you are not fond of spicy, prepare yourself by using a lot of the ranch dipping sauce and drinking some milk. read more

I used to think LA was best for crawfish but it feels unpredictable these days. In my most recent trip, the crawfish for really small and some even mushy. So much work for so little reward. Also the butters tasted sour-- all in all, it's no longer my favorite... read more

I went there yesterday with friends for a reunion. The food was alright but I got food poisoned from the raw oysters.

Good and relatively cheap crawfish that are flavorful and are of good size. I love the garlic butter spicy crawfish. And their seasoned fries are the bomb! The environment is fun, especially if this is your first time. read more

I usually go to Chinatown for crawfish but decided to try this place out on a whim. I expected it to be more expensive than the spots off Bellaire bc of the location but was pleasantly surprised that they're $2/lbs less for fresh crawfish. I like that you order your food at the register then sit down with a table number. The line to the cashier was out the door to the parking lot but it moved pretty quickly. We were in line for maybe 20 min on a Sunday evening (which I was told is their busiest time). I got all three flavors, Cajun, Garlic Butter, and Hot and Sour all in medium. The medium was just the right amount of spice. Not too spicy and not too bland. Of the three flavors the only one I really liked was the Cajun. It was absolutely delish. I think the Garlic Butter and Hot and Sour lacked flavor and both almost tasted like they had just been boiled in butter and water. They're also BYOB which is pretty great. The food came out pretty fast and the service was friendly. I'm pretty sure this is my new go to Crawfish spot. read more

The best crawfish I've had from a restaurant in Houston! This is my new favorite spot! Staff isn't very attentive/helpful - but it's an order at the counter place so after the first few minutes it doesn't affect you. read more

Love this spot. Friendly service, quick. Clean establishment. The seasonings are better than any other LA Crawfish Ive been to. Not a crawfish fan. I get the king crab and shrimp. So good. read more

The servers are always nice. The crawfish pho is revolutionary! The wings are great too. Every time I come it's consistently good and friendly. Highly recommend! read more

The Cajun curry is my favorite dish. The crawfish are always big and taste. I'm not sure if the crawfish are imported from China, because all the local places seem to say their is a shortage this season. Anyway, LA crawfish are large and tasty. Only gave them 3 stars because the wait is long to get a table. Please expand your seating! read more

I came here for the first time . I ordered the King Crab, They gave me only 2 legs , which was not the complete order of a pound of crab. My friend and I noticed and I asked for my money back. They tried to convince me that is was a pound of King Crab, but since my friend and I eat King Crab every weekend, we knew and told that , that it definitely was not a pound. They sent the crab back to the kitchen and I waited 15-18 minutes,..Finally the manager saw it and told me that they accidentally weighed the crab while it was frozen and they gave me more to make it a equal pound, that was a nice conclusion to their mistake of not measuring the crab correctly, or maybe they were trying to cut cost,. Anyways, the King Crab was very delicious and the sauce was soo good, and I love the Byob ! read more

Went tonight. Average prices. Nice heat. Had snow crab and shrimp. The service was horrible you have to ask for everything or get it yourself. LA Fisherman even has better service. Gloves nor bibs were offered. Paper towels are not on each table. Unorganized.. I say to go only at this location.. I took off one star for service. They get 3 stars because the food wasn't bad. read more

I hate to give a bad review on this place again, but the manager was so nice about my last review and ask me to come back. I came in tonight and was greeted and ordered the cajun flavored super spicey. I must say, that was the good part. They were very flavored...but, the crawfish were so small, it was like the end of January or first of February. They were cooked way too much. There was no actual meaty texture, but like mashed particles. The shells seemed to be affected by the long cook, as it was soft and didn't break right. I had to fight to get the crawfish meat out of the small crawfish, it did not slide out easily. Also, I noticed the big black vein, which tells me they were not purged long enough or at all. I still have a dirty flavor in my mouth as I write this. The last thing, they did not have bibs, and I was in a hurry and got the oily juices on my dress shirt. Stupid of me to think that would not happen. A few years back, I really enjoyed coming to the one off of i-10 in the Asian grocery store, but I just can't keep coming for these prices and such small crawfish. I hope this place listens to its customers. It can only get better. You have nailed the flavor though :-) read more

The first week they open i was somewhat impressed, since then I've been back 4 more times each time i was progressively more disappointed. Today the craw-fish was strangely soft shelled, and the gumbo had way to many bones. read more

I think you people are on crack cocaine, this place is a horrible representation of both cajun and vietnamese food. Not worth waiting in line for. Be real people are drawned to this cuz of byob, not for the food. For poboys just go to cajun stop bbs or the boot. For asian cajun just go to wild cajun. read more

I like this place, its not exactly like being back home in hawaii, but its extremely close :). I gave them 4 stars because I think there maybe a little msg in the pho, I got a head ache after. The cajan seasoning is a little salty as well, but over it was agood experience. The staff was very friendly as well. read more

If I could zero stars for customer service of this place I would. Food was ok but didn't have many of the items on the menu. Also, employee mentioned that they do not have fresh seafood on Mondays and Tuesdays so don't go there on these days of the week. read more

Friend and I came here yesterday evening as I'm trying to hit up the top crawfish places according to 365 things to do in Houston. big mistake! The crawfish here was bad. Beyond bad. It must've been old frozen crawfish because the crawfish was black. It was over cooked and mushy. Couldn't even pinch the tail without it dissolving . The best part of the meal was my coke. $25 wasted. Friend and I didn't even bother finishing our food. We left all full 3 pounds and went to BBs cafe in the heights to get some real crawfish! read more

Garlic butter crawfish and the lemon pepper wings are AMAZING! BYOB hell yes. Line can get long. But it's worth it. Sometimes it's a cluster cuss but drink in line while you wait. read more

I loved the crawfish!!!! Omg soooo good. I ate here once and now I'm hooked. I read reviews to mix the garlic butter with Cajun and that was the best decision ever! I got extra spicy (bit too spicy) lol next time I'll probably get spicy. The potatoes, sausage, and corn is great too! read more

This is our favorite crawfish place in town and we are frequent customers usually ordering at least 20lbs of crawfish and sometimes crab The product is excellent. Everything we have tried here is good. However, as a frequent customer I am getting very frustrated with the lack of parking in this strip center. Now days you are circling for a parking space for 15-20 mins then you are waiting in line for another 20 mins. I don't mind so much the waiting for a table as that is how all good places in Houston are, but the parking I find unusually difficult and getting to be unacceptable. I'm almost to the point of not wanting to come here any more just because of the parking and the line out the door that is just about any day and any hour. Also it would be helpful to post a sign on the door that "To Go" orders can be picked up at register by entering through the exit door. Right now your waiting in the line out the door only to find once you get to the front of the line inside a sign telling to go orders to proceed to register. You cannot see this sign from the line out the door . I waited in the line while my to go order was waiting for me at the register getting cold. Cold crawfish are no Bueno! I wish them much success and hope that they can soon find a bigger location with much better parking. read more

6.99 per lb for crawfish, potatoes and sausage and corn extra and you get choices of the flavors Cajun, garlic butter, or hot and sour. Then you can choose the spicy level. I chose medium for my first batch and went to spicy next. The strange part of this place was having the tails all over your table. They give you a tablecloth but no tin or bucket for the discards. I requested an aluminum pan and liked that better. This is a place that if you don't request it you won't get it. Customer service is not the highest. I also tried the snow crab legs in garlic butter flavor --awesome, boiled shrimp was a little tough. Seasoned Fries not great. Wings were available in several flavors. My friends enjoyed them. Overall Cons: The place is small!!! Groups of more than 4-6 you may be sitting on laps. Also Parking is a pain: strip center parking, you may have to cruise around to wait for someone to leave. Bathroom was unacceptable. Despicable. Pros: Overall the food was good. I would go back but call in my order first. B.y.ob except hard liquor, crawfish was seasoned well, all the extras are self serve: Ranch, spicy seasoning, hot butter, hot sauce, garlic butter, ketchup, limes etc. Fountain drinks available. Next time I will try the pho. It smelled and looked great! Originally written in April 2015 read more

Let me start off by saying the service was great. The crawfish was not. The food comes frozen. Why use frozen? Right now they do use fresh crawfish but the rest of the sides do come frozen. I know this because I asked the employee who took our order and I saw the boxes of frozen spuds near the restrooms. They cook the crawfish hours and hours in advance. Although the wait was short, the crawfish were tiny, they came out soft, and over cooked. There are far to many great places in Houston to eat crawfish that are cooked to order. I can't imagine eating them during off season when they too come frozen. I was hoping for a better experience since I work and live near Greenway. read more

Great food, Great service, Great location. Hidden Gem in Greenway Plaza

My family went to LA Crawfish a few days ago. We loved it. Since we had never been before, we had no idea what to expect. Basically, this is 'get in line and order' kind of place. You order your food from the front desk and they bring it to you. Not a waiters and white table cloths kind of establishment. The food (crawfish, crabs, corn on the cob, etc.) was great. I loved the Cajun style crawfish. Others preferred the crawfish with garlic butter. As an appetizer we ordered a couple of baskets of french fries. Believe it or not, the french fries are some of the best in Houston. This is not a pretentious, upscale kind of place. If you expecting something like the old Magnolia Bar and Grill you will be disappointed. However, the food is great and the prices are quite reasonable. Of course, the location is quite convenient (in the Galleria area). read more

SO amazing.. I always go for the garlic butter crawfish SPICY!!! I love the crawfish empanadas and garlic wings!! This place is my fav crawfish destination by far!! It's always packed and has a line, but you get seated and get good food. The have a system they work to make sure customers don't wait too long and feel at home. read more

Ok so the wings were ok. The crawfish was not so good. They tasted over cooked. There is hardly any seating. The service was not good. THE MEN BATHROOM was dirty and needed attention. I'm not going back here... It's like a whole in the wall type place. I'll stick to hanks crawfish on the north side. read more

I went recently with a group of co-workers on a Thursday night. There were patrons, but so many that the line was long or no seating available. The food is delicious! I got boiled shrimp, potatoes, and sausage. I loved it all. The beignets were tasty as well. Customer service was excellent. I definitely plan on returning. read more
