The crawfish pho here is soooo gooooood! The portions are big and the prices reasonable. Love the vibe and the new ownership. They made it a point to personally ask us how everything was. Friendly staff. I will be back!

MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH. BIG JUICY SHRIMP AND NICE THICK CRAB LEGS. Honestly you can't go wrong with seafood. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the shell just peels off so easily! The king crab legs were spicy but they had so much meat inside! The sauce we chose was the regular and regular spicy and it was juicy and sweet but I prefer a more thicker sauce? It was kinda watery and I wished there was more garlic. Also regular spicy was actually spicy for me! They have a little robot that serves you the food which is really cute! They have lots of tables and lots of space and you have to set up your own paper for the seafood. The lemon pepper chicken wings were 7/10. They were fried nicely but I wasn't really getting any lemon pepper seasoning at all. Their sweet tea 8/10. It was good but idk it was missing something.. Overall I would come again! Very pricey but worth the shrimp and crab legs!

I've been to LA Crawfish in Houston and the other locations. They've never disappointed and this location was not an exception. Food was amazing! We ordered the gumbo, pho, crawfish bites, and the wings. My favorite surprisingly was the wings! Very crispy, fresh, and well seasoned (lemon pepper was our pick). Gumbo and Pho was pretty good, perfect for cooler weather! My least favorite was the crawfish bites out of what we ordered, but it was still delicious and fresh. Love how the food comes steaming hot and fresh! Will definitely recommend and come back.

This is my 4x eating here and I really enjoyed it! I'm a crawfish freak, and I love seafood! The crawfish tails with your choice of seasoning. The crawfish pho with a nice add of spicy, and the crawfish empanadas are killer. (These are a hot commodity so they don't always have them) The atmosphere is a take out type, like order and choose a seat. Cover the table with paper and throw it all away after you make yourself a mess. lol Prices aren't bad and apparently this is a chain...definitely worthy of a shot though. 9/10

Seafood Sunday with the Fam! Entering the establishment it looks pretty nice. This place has seating but you seat yourself. When ordering food, the cashier was pretty nonchalant with a kind of hurry up and order type of attitude. Wasn't really helpful at all. When we got our crawfish, they were really small. I was disappointed. The meat was smaller than salad shrimp. The fried rice was pretty decent and the chicken wings were good. Wouldn't recommend for crawfish or service...

I had the spicy beef pho and it was amazing! The service was great! The manager was really sweet. They played really good music. It was just super chill and we will definitely be back!

La special there is barely any meat and this is only 3 pieces of meat I saw but it's all fat

Can I order fresh oysters to go?

Hi Chelle. We shuck our fresh oysters minutes before serving them to you. Because they are served raw, we do not provide raw oysters for to go.

The menu is exciting and the concept is definitely there--but unfortunately, my dining experience didn't quite live up to it. I ordered the pecan-crusted trout, which had a nice texture but lacked flavor and seasoning. The dirty rice was also underwhelming, with very little depth or seasoning, and the calamari was a bit rubbery. Overall, the food just didn't hit the mark for me. Service was also a bit inconsistent. During dinner, I found myself having to get up to grab my own salt and pepper, as well as my own place setting, which took away from the experience. That said, I did have a much better interaction the day before when my wife and I stopped by for a glass of champagne at the bar--the bartender was lovely and welcoming. On a positive note, the location is beautiful--right along the River Walk, which makes for a great ambiance and setting. I'd consider giving it another try, but hoping for more consistency in both food and service next time.

We didn't realize this place was a cousin of Shiro and owned by the same guy until we saw some similarities in their style, layout and menu but nevertheless, the food was still absolutely amazing. Even though the ambiance had some similarities, I'm glad their food options were distinguished because otherwise could have just gone downtown. You cannot go wrong with any of their food options. Highly recommend doing family style so you can get a taste of everything and all the different flavors. We started with the gyoza and calamari which were to die for and were not greasy at all. Pork ssam, wagyu, miso pasta and octopus all brought a little bit of their own element and flare to your palate that it's hard to describe unless you try it. Wagyu was just melt in your mouth delicious. Pork ssam and octopus had their crunchy texture and umami flavors. The miso pasta added a light refreshing touch to balance everything out but don't let it fool ya, the noodles will expand in your stomach. We topped it off with their yuzu cake. Our only disappointment was they were out of their other desserts but nevertheless everyone of us left full and happy. Would come here again.

When I first read about Yozora, I honestly thought it sounded a bit pretentious. Fascinating, but…read morepretentious. Because the idea of music being an actual integral part of the dining experience--not just some kind of background noise--felt a little precious for my taste. I'm glad to admit I was wrong. So let's start with the ambiance and the vibe of Yozora. It's in a fairly non-descript kind of center; not bad but not specially memorable. But the space itself is open and has an air of restrained sophistication. And then there's that hi-fi set up. The music at Yozora really is part of the experience, but it's not intrusive in the way that you'd think. Most of what my dining companion and I heard was 50s and 60s jazz, and it was perfect for the occasion. Sushi and Coltrane are a great mix, and even though we were not far from the hi-fi system, I could hear every word of our conversation, without the need for either of us to raise a voice. Somehow, it's like the music operates on a different frequency from regular table chatter. Suffice to say, the music enhanced the mood and really set a scene for Yozora's chefs to tell some stories. And that, they do really well. We started out with seasonal tempura and miso masu ceviche--ocean trout marinated in miso, soy, and lime juice--that was sublime. But funnily enough, the real star small plate was a truffle creamy miso soup that was earthy and slightly sweet at the same time and was silky in texture. From there, we ordered a series of crudo and battera, each unique in its own way. It was wonderful stuff, accompanied by a rice lager. The kitchen at Yozora is not shy about experimenting with non-traditional flavors and ingredients. Sometimes it works really well; sometimes, not as well, but it's never bad, and the servers actually ask for feedback for the kitchen, which is something I rarely see. Yozora honestly seems to be most concerned with creating a great dining experience, and it does that, from the chefs to the line cooks to the servers (who are helpful and attentive without hovering). The music, the mood, and the menu add up to a memorable experience.

We've been wanting to try something different from the usual, and this place absolutely delivered. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted promptly and treated with genuine kindness. Our waitress was polite, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire visit. To drink, we ordered a large hibiscus tea served in a mason jar. You can immediately tell it's made in-house -- incredibly fresh, with a subtle hint of lime. Easily one of the best hibiscus teas I've had, and far better than the powdered versions many places use. I wouldn't even hesitate to pay for refills. We also started with a Modelo (canned), crudo shrimp (2 pieces), Japanese peanuts, chamoy, and a sauce at the bottom of the plate that was unbelievably good -- likely one of their ceviche sauces. Whatever it was, it was packed with flavor. For entrees, my spouse ordered the Pork Belly AguaChile, and it was phenomenal. The pork belly was crispy, tender, and moist all at once, loaded with flavor. It came with a generous portion of very fresh guacamole, topped with julienned red onions and serrano peppers, plus four corn tortillas and a fresh salsa verde with the perfect amount of heat. My spouse isn't big on tortillas, so I happily made a few tacos myself -- no regrets. I ordered the Ceviche La Mamona, which included tender octopus, melt-in-your-mouth ahi tuna, perfectly cooked shrimp, avocado, onion, cucumber, tomato, and a black sauce that tied everything together beautifully. This was, without question, the best ceviche I've ever had. I've never been to Mexico, but this is exactly how I imagine it should taste -- incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. They also serve it with crackers, tostadas, and two creamy salsas: one habanero and one jalapeño/serrano. Honestly, the ceviche alone could have been a full meal. If you're looking for generous portions, outstanding freshness, excellent service, and a truly memorable seafood experience, AguaChiles is the place. Next time, I'm coming back for the whole octopus, super tostada mixta, oyster preparado, queso flameado, fried oysters, and possibly a molcajete. I love food, and every meal here felt like an adventure.
