It was cold, snowy and late and thought a bowl of Pho would be perfect. I'm so glad this place was still open and near my house. The young man working the register, actually doing everything was extremely helpful, kind and very hardworking. He made some menu suggestions, even though I've been there before he told us about some new items on the menu and what were popular amongst customers. Well, I went the opposite and chose the hot and sour Pho with shrimp. I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I don't believe it is made with a beef base, but I could be wrong. The broth didn't seem as heavy but it was flavorful and very aromatic, I love the taste and smell of fresh cilantro. I added basil, bean sprouts, siracha, lime and hoison and ate every bit of it. I usually cannot finish a bowl of Pho. The bowl was a nice size with plenty of perfectly cooked noodles, more shrimp would have done me well, but I was satisfied overall. The only thing I would change is the cheap plastic Asian style spoons they give you. They don't hold much because they're so flimsy and small, just a terrible idea. That same gentleman who worked the counter came by to check on us, fill our drinks and clear items from our table. On the bottom of the receipt if you make a Yelp or Google review you get a free order of Beignets, he put that order in for me and packed it to go. They were still piping hot and good when I got home. Overall, a great experience food and service wise. Oh and my BF ordered a shrimp po-boy and waffle fries and he said it was really good. He ate too fast for me to snap a picture. He said it reminded him of the po-boys back home in Biloxi, Mississippi. We will be returning again! read more

I loveeeeee this place during crawfish season! I always get the Cajun mild crawfish. I love the tasty seasoning and delicious seasoning. Crawfish is cooked perfectly. The shrimp is good here too! I came from a seafood family whom ate a lot of fresh seafood. This place is good. I haven't tried their pho. I only come for the raw oyster, crawfish, shrimp, sausage, and potatoes (when in season). It's been a while since I've been here but since I was craving some gumbo after an appointment this was the most convenient spot on the way home. I ordered 2 gumbo, Cajun boiled shrimp, pho broth, garlic noodles. All of these are yummy and you can't go wrong. The gumbo is not a deep dark roux if that's your preference but it has good flavor with sausage, crab leg, okra, shrimp. I've bought several 8 Oz to go before and added to it for at home gumbo experience. My only feedback this round was my shrimp was a little mushy when I got home which means potentially over cooked. Please work on the smell walking in this place. It's terrible and can be a turn off but thank goodness the food is good. I know other crab spots do not have this odor coming in. read more

So, this was a tough one for me. I've had food here tons of times but never really had any issues. This recent time I went in with the intent to use the yelp 10% and they told me, after I ordered, that it's impossible because "there is no button for it" and they cannot give discounts. I asked why they even have the discount and no answer was provided. I let it go, paid for my order and left. I get home, I open everything up (everything looks fine at this point) and then my gf and I are excited to tear into some fried crap. The crap is definitely NOT softshell. We were able to get, maybe, a few bites of crab out of the whole thing because you can't really break open a fried hardshell crab and get the meat out. Overall, the noodles were good, the curry was good, and that's pretty typical, but the service and the crab (especially since we paid a fair amount for it) rubbed me wrong. However, one thing I hate about this place is that when you order crab legs...you literally only get crab. No potatoes, corn, sausage or anything. BUT, the place fills up fast on the weekends in the evening, so make sure you get there in order to get a seat, or you're going to be ordering take out instead. Oysters were, to be generous, meh, and the only thing Korean about this is a bit of dilute kochujang drizzled on them. When we walked in, we noticed you order your food at the register and they bring your food to the table you're at. We ordered three lbs of Cajun crawfish, a pound of garlic butter shrimp and a bowl of crawfish pho. For that and two sodas, the price came up to $60. All the condiments, straws, forks, etc were at one area that you grabbed on your own. It would be nice to have waitstaff as this is a very messy meal to eat. I thought the pho broth was okay, it wasn't bad. But for $8.99 a bowl, I wouldn't order it again. The crawfish was big and live but the sauce was okay. 1st time here and wow!!!!!!!!! Since I got to ordering I was impressed. The girl up front was super sweet and answered all my questions about the menu. Bam! Great find in a weird little strip center but don't let the location keep you from stopping in. They only have one register but actually keeps the tables turning while you place your order. You grab some butcher paper and find a place to sit with the Number they give you after you order. Then they deliver steaming bags of goodness. We got 4lbs of Mudbugs and 1pound of Shrimp Heads on ! (Should of got 2. So good.) Flavors we got garlic and Cajun Med. both excellent.. it's BYOB so stop at the gas station across the street and bring some beer or pack in your own.
