This helps their service staff so customers could have less questions
    Rio R.

Been here twice just this October. Went back because of the wings with the tamarind sauce and the beignets sticks. Love the shrimp po' boy a lot. It's served warm with the generous serving of crunchy and fresh tasting shrimps. Love the sauce/dressing they put on this sandwich, just the right amount of tanginess and kick of heat. Service is saved by the cute and interesting robot. They have a sign on the counter that they are understaffed. We noticed they have been understaffed since the COVID pandemic. Not really sure why they were never got the chance to get more servers. But the lady in the counter is always very warm, patient and attentive. Just feel bad for her since she have a lot of stuff to do--from answering the phone, picking-up the automated orders from a machine to taking orders and payments from hungry customers like us. That's a lot of stuff to juggle around for--most likely--a meager pay. Good thing this place is not so huge so less area for their service crew to clean-up between dining customers.

These are not caramelized onions. They are burnt green onion segments.

Yeah, no. The entire family regretted not staying home and making grilled cheese sandwiches. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the place was relatively clean and our orders came out at a decent rate. The staff member taking our orders played with his long hair so much it made me cringe. Then I saw they had those robot waiters and I calmed a little. Speaking of the robots, when there's only two tables seated on a Tuesday evening, it makes more sense for the staff member to just walk the orders out, but, again, poor hygiene allowed me to cope. The meal wasn't worth the price. We ordered the "chickaronnes" seasoned with spicy garlic and they came seasoned with frying oil. When we asked for seasoning we were told it had some on there but there was no indication in appearance OR flavor of it. We ended up sending it back and getting a refund. The "awesome garlic noodle" dish wasn't even average. The bowl that I received, when compared to the images on their online menu is laughable. One pitiful crawfish with minuscule pieces of crawfish tails and unidentifiable black strips of something that I can only assume were "caramelized" onions irritated me so badly that I swore this place off for good. The portion for the price was even more irritating. The rest of the meal- oyster po' boys and a shrimp and oyster basket- was devoid of seasoning and the oysters tasted old, according to my kids and hubby. The only decent thing on the table were the Arnold Palmers. Next time, we'll stick with grilled cheese sandwiches at home.

The pho's are pretty good especially the seafood ones. The cheesy seafood rolls and crawfish empanadas were however very tragic.

Tee Pham had invited and met us @gongchasatx for bubble tea a few weeks ago. He extended the invite for us to check out @lacrawfishsanantonio Culebra location and so we headed there for dinner tonight. When I looked at the menu, I was most excited to try the oysters and the chickarrones and both did not disappoint. The oysters were served 3 different ways - Korean style, Japanese Ponzu topped with red masago and Thai Green Chili. The Japanese and Korean ones were my favorites. The Chickarrones are chicken cracklings that are just so crunchy and comes in several flavors. We had the chicken wings in 2 different flavors - Sweet & Sour (Dad's favorite) and Thai Tamarind. Both are finger licking good! What's unique is the Pho Crawfish Cajun. Dad loved the noodles, crawfish and pho combo. Tee treated us to the seafood boil, which had crab, shrimp, crawfish, potatoes, sausages and corn. Way too much food for us to finish. There's enough leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. Everything was so fresh and tasty! Another Dad favorite was the beignets! Dad kept eating them! Dad loves his sweets! Dad was mesmerized to see the robot serving our food. @lacrawfishsanantonio first used the robots! If you haven't checked them out, plan on it soon! The Michelada is spicy and yummy!

$40 for a bag of overpriced crab and 1 hard boiled egg...........

This place is a scam. I ordered it on Uber Eats and for $40 you get 1.5 crab claws and have to pay extra for anything other than that. Complete rip off where potatoes, sausage, corn, or eggs are an added cost for an overpriced hunk of crap. Do not recommend.

Thankfully the hosts found me and my party a table. Our server was bright, communicative, and genuinely attentive. The grits blew my mind with it's rich butter and creamy texture while still have the grain texture. The fried tomatoes were met with a cornmeal fried crispy crunch and a juicy almost like it was marinated in lemon juice for a bit. The bacon was pretty good like a thick chunky sweet bacon strip. I personally like it a bit thinner and more crispy. I like that they offer orange juice and mango juice. My 2nd visit I knew better to get a reservation but it was completely booked when I looked to make a reservation the morning of. It was a Saturday morning. I walked in hoping anyways at 11am. They surprisingly had seats available outside this Texas summer lol. The meat pies were okay a little too greasy. I may be biased on Irish pub style meat pies. The nachos with boudin sauce and a lemon sour cream was out of this world with flavor. It what bean dip wishes it could be. I was so full I couldn't finish it, but I went for that dip. Our server cést comme ci comme ca this time. It like she was just there to get through the day that barely started. I was served a dirty water glass with a lipstick stain on it. My server rarely came by and I had to ask another server to help. Honestly I only tipped the girl server out of manners. I would not accept her as my server ever again.

I had my family join me for brunch, and unfortunately, it left us with questions. The biggest question was, "Where was the favor?" I knew I wouldn't like the chicory coffee, yet there was another option available that I enjoyed more that was a decaf. The child's plate was one of the worst kid's meal values I've seen in a while. It was $10 for one tender and a beignet. The tender was small and left my child wanting more, so I paid $7 for an extra tender. Please consider a plate that has two tenders and fruit or potatoes for older kids since this was sized for a toddler. The $10 Doggy Meal looked like it could have provided that option since it came with grilled chicken, sweet potato, and steamed rice. The adult plates had enough food for an actual meal, so we shared our plates with my child who only wanted more chicken and potatoes at that point. The Bayou BLT was okay, yet nothing to rave about. My husband wasn't impressed with the Blue Crab Omelette, and my aunt said her Catfish St. Charles was very bland. We all had an order of beignets that were tough and chewy. My husband and I have had freshly baked and powdered beignets at Cafe Du Moude, so these tiny versions were a tough sell. What did have flavor? The Bananas Foster pancakes, which was the better dessert option. While the restaurant itself was cute, expect table service to be long. We constantly waited for waitstaff to return to refill coffee, bring napkins, or furnish a needed utensil. Also, the parking will be tight. We were lucky to get spots adjacent to the restaurant rather than offsite, yet you will be watched like a hawk when you attempt to leave. People want those spots. If you want the feel of brunch with okay-ish food at expensive prices, come to NOLA the restaurant. If you're expecting to relive the actual taste of NOLA the city, start booking your next getaway for the real deal.
