There is a reason why Pho Kim Long is (in my opinion) one of the best pho places in SATX! They have been so consistent for years, I remember my first time coming in 2017, it still hits the same. SO GOOD, even the chinese dishes are incredible, high quality dishes that are always yummy. PH6 is my go to, but I always try new items every time I dine here. If you haven't tried it, ASAP yall! Service is fast, it can get busy and might have to wait but it's worth it.

17 Dec 2025 Today was the perfect day for soup: gray, drizzly and a little cold. I ordered PH5 (shredded chicken, noodles, onions, delicious broth). The husband went with the brisket version. As usual the soups are accompanied by the plate of limes, jalapeños, sprouts, cilantro and basil. I add all of these and add siracha and hoisin sauce. Perfecto. Delicious food and excellent service. Go there b

    PHO WITH BRISKET

Needed a pho fix, and this place had a good amount of reviews. My hubby and I decided to take a drive and try it. We ordered: fried rolls, PH 11: pho w/brisket and my hubby ordered PH12: pho with brisket, rare steak, and tendon, and a wonton soup (for my daughter). Pros: -food was good. I love their wonton soup more than the pho if I'm being honest. -pricing is reasonable -portions are great -A lot of food options and variety in their menu. They even have bubble (boba) tea. Cons: -Parking is VERY limited. My husband made his own parking spot on the grass area next to the back entrance to restaurant (I don't recommend lol). -service was slow and I was a bit annoyed because we were served after someone else that arrived after us. It is what it is though. -I ordered a Thai tea to drink and I didn't get it until after our meal came out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall good experience. Ambiance is casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

PHO WITH RARE STEAK, VEGETARIAN SPRING ROLL VERMICELLI

For takeout it's a solid 4 out of 5. I did dine-in years ago and remember I didn't necessarily like the pho as much. The noodles were the perfect texture when the soup was poured in, and the rare steak in the pho was cooked just right. There were plenty of bean sprouts, cilantro, onions, and scallions. The soup itself was good, but slightly over seasoned for my liking. There was hoisin sauce but no sriracha unfortunately. The vegetarian spring roll had vermicelli and tofu, which was a little disappointing because there could have been other veggies added in there. I'll have to dine in again and try some of their other menu items to see if this rating holds.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in downtown San Antonio! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small spot, little parking and crowded seating but the food is amazing![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I believe they close too early but it's their style‍.I had the chicken pad Thai, crab Rangoon and Vietnamese spring rolls. It was all very delicious! Before I've had their special combination fried rice and it was awesome as well! A must try! Don't sleep on this place

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Didn't know this place would be so busy but what do I expect for noon on a Friday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the combination pho. Broth is perfect. Full of meat and the portion is the perfect size.

To start the parking situation sucks, small spots and not enough. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself looks like your old school noodle spot....authentic![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was pretty good the pho broth was very simple and tasty just like it should be and the meat was cut perfectly not to big not to small. The service was very friendly and quick. The Vietnamese fried spring rolls were delicious and I love that it came with lettuce.

I'll preface by saying the food is so good. I love the pho and fried shrimp/chicken rolls. I've been coming for years and seen 2-3 new owners in that time. I don't know what's changed but I haven't been in for a few months. I paid $8.61 for the fried shrimp rolls. It has 4 rolls in total. They seem much smaller and had 1 shrimp in the entire roll. It just seems different from how they use to be made and I'm not sure they're worth getting anymore.

My first time having Vietnamese food (in San Antonio), and -- as an Htown girl who has all sorts of Vietnamese fare options -- I gotta say this experience exceeded my expectations. I got the chicken banh mi -- amazing lemongrass flavor and wonderful crunch to the greens. My colleague got pho, perfect for the rainy day we dropped in. The place was really busy during lunch, so plan on waiting for a table.

Been here several times and the food is always outstanding. I always liked rank a restaurant by their bathrooms. And surprisingly cleanliness second to how hot the water gets on the faucet. I will tell you that it was instantly too hot to use and it made me smile and confirms this as one of the top restaurants in its cuisine. The services is standard and you can expect friendly and fast service. A must try if you are in the area.

Ok ok ok ok, I've had Pho Kim Long #2 in Las Vegas and was screaming when I saw there was a location in SATX. I immediately ordered a Lyft and made the 15 min drive from downtown. IT WAS WORTH IT. Came in for dinner at 6:15 pm on a Monday night and I luckily got a table, but within 15 min THAT PLACE WAS PACKED WITH A LINE OF PEOPLE WAITING FOR A TABLE. So beware lol. Once we ordered our food, it was out within 10 minutes. I went with the #13, Shrimp Pho. It was only $13.95 and the portion was huge! The shrimp in the pho was of high quality and very fresh. The broth was amazing and flavorful. Perfect for a cold night like for this storm passing by currently. Honestly my pho was a 10/10. My wife ordered some cream cheese wontons and those also were amazing! Another 10/10. Overall, I highly reccomend this place if you love Vietnamese food. It was worth the drive and the money. You will not regret swinging by. Thanks Pho Kim Long for the great food and hospitality!

After telling the waiter my day was going good he noticed me fighting for my life, head down on the table, and made a point to ask if I was okay again to which I admitted having a massive headache. He brought extra water and suggested soda to relieve the headache and later brought small lollipops. After my tea, pho, and candy, I felt a lot better. Not the first time I received above and beyond customer service experience here and certainly won't be the last. Thank you Peter!

The restaurant appeared clean and well maintained. Service was prompt and friendly, although attentiveness tapered off once the meal was served. It seemed like the staff had shifted their focus toward preparing for the evening dinner crowd. After reading several recommendations, I ordered the Saigon Special since it included grilled pork, chicken, shrimp, and a Vietnamese egg roll. It seemed like a great way to sample several of their specialties. I also started with the fresh Vietnamese spring rolls. The spring rolls were enormous and easily large enough to share. The Saigon Special was equally generous, with a substantial portion of vermicelli noodles underneath the grilled meats. Everything tasted fresh, and each protein was cooked well, but none of the individual components really stood out. The meal leaned more toward generous portions and good value than bold or memorable. Overall, it was an enjoyable lunch with friendly service and excellent portion sizes. While I wasn't blown away by the flavors, I appreciated the freshness and value. I'd definitely come back for the pho, which I remember having a flavorful broth and a generous portion of meat on my previous visit. With several good Vietnamese restaurants in the area, though, I'll probably continue trying other spots before making this one a regular stop.

All things in my mind brought this down from a 5 star to a 4. Clean up the tables is definitely something the restaurant has control over. We sat down, and the acetone smell dissipated so either I was use to it or they turned down a shared ventilation system. The food though was the big surprise! It was excellent. We ordered the Special House Bun with beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and a crispy egg roll. All the proteins were cooked perfectly. The real winner was the lemongrass Banh mi with once again perfectly proportioned ingredients. We also ordered the fresh spring roll, which never came but wasn't missed except that they did try to charge us for but did remove them. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.
