Finally got around to trying this place out and regret not going sooner! It's a small(ish) place so there was a small wait on a cold day but well well worth the wait! Once we got sat we placed our orders and had food in front of us in 15ish minutes? It was great. The wings were delicious, you could throw the sauce on a tire and I'd eat it. The bowls were so refreshing and delicious and the pho was perfect. I can't wait to go back! Give this place a try, be aware the parkings tight, don't get overwhelmed or thrown off find the parking get inside and be ready for some amazing food from amazing people! Side note: everytime the older Vietnamese women came to clear our plates as we finished she told us good job for fishing our food and tbh it felt so warming and homey without thought

17 Dec 2025 Today was the perfect day for soup: gray, drizzly and a little cold. I ordered PH5 (shredded chicken, noodles, onions, delicious broth). The husband went with the brisket version. As usual the soups are accompanied by the plate of limes, jalapeños, sprouts, cilantro and basil. I add all of these and add siracha and hoisin sauce. Perfecto. Delicious food and excellent service. Go there b

There is a reason why Pho Kim Long is (in my opinion) one of the best pho places in SATX! They have been so consistent for years, I remember my first time coming in 2017, it still hits the same. SO GOOD, even the chinese dishes are incredible, high quality dishes that are always yummy. PH6 is my go to, but I always try new items every time I dine here. If you haven't tried it, ASAP yall! Service is fast, it can get busy and might have to wait but it's worth it.

    PHO WITH BRISKET

Needed a pho fix, and this place had a good amount of reviews. My hubby and I decided to take a drive and try it. We ordered: fried rolls, PH 11: pho w/brisket and my hubby ordered PH12: pho with brisket, rare steak, and tendon, and a wonton soup (for my daughter). Pros: -food was good. I love their wonton soup more than the pho if I'm being honest. -pricing is reasonable -portions are great -A lot of food options and variety in their menu. They even have bubble (boba) tea. Cons: -Parking is VERY limited. My husband made his own parking spot on the grass area next to the back entrance to restaurant (I don't recommend lol). -service was slow and I was a bit annoyed because we were served after someone else that arrived after us. It is what it is though. -I ordered a Thai tea to drink and I didn't get it until after our meal came out. Overall good experience. Ambiance is casual.

PHO WITH RARE STEAK, VEGETARIAN SPRING ROLL VERMICELLI

For takeout it's a solid 4 out of 5. I did dine-in years ago and remember I didn't necessarily like the pho as much. The noodles were the perfect texture when the soup was poured in, and the rare steak in the pho was cooked just right. There were plenty of bean sprouts, cilantro, onions, and scallions. The soup itself was good, but slightly over seasoned for my liking. There was hoisin sauce but no sriracha unfortunately. The vegetarian spring roll had vermicelli and tofu, which was a little disappointing because there could have been other veggies added in there. I'll have to dine in again and try some of their other menu items to see if this rating holds.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in downtown San Antonio! Small spot, little parking and crowded seating but the food is amazing! I believe they close too early but it's their style‍.I had the chicken pad Thai, crab Rangoon and Vietnamese spring rolls. It was all very delicious! Before I've had their special combination fried rice and it was awesome as well! A must try! Don't sleep on this place

Didn't know this place would be so busy but what do I expect for noon on a Friday. I got the combination pho. Broth is perfect. Full of meat and the portion is the perfect size.

To start the parking situation sucks, small spots and not enough. The place itself looks like your old school noodle spot....authentic! The food was pretty good the pho broth was very simple and tasty just like it should be and the meat was cut perfectly not to big not to small. The service was very friendly and quick. The Vietnamese fried spring rolls were delicious and I love that it came with lettuce.

    Chicken banh mi

My first time having Vietnamese food (in San Antonio), and -- as an Htown girl who has all sorts of Vietnamese fare options -- I gotta say this experience exceeded my expectations. I got the chicken banh mi -- amazing lemongrass flavor and wonderful crunch to the greens. My colleague got pho, perfect for the rainy day we dropped in. The place was really busy during lunch, so plan on waiting for a table.

Been here several times and the food is always outstanding. I always liked rank a restaurant by their bathrooms. And surprisingly cleanliness second to how hot the water gets on the faucet. I will tell you that it was instantly too hot to use and it made me smile and confirms this as one of the top restaurants in its cuisine. The services is standard and you can expect friendly and fast service. A must try if you are in the area.

I'm glad they had room for us but, it's still safe to make reservations. We did not know they are a tapas style restaurant, but that didn't deter us. And we were pleasantly surprised at the size of their "tapas". What we ordered was enough for two people to share. Dumplings - 9/10 Gulf Shrimp & Noodles - 10/10 Blistered Green Beans - 10/10 Ramen - 9/10 Service was great. It's a casual atmosphere, but perfect for an intimate date night.

A bit messy to eat but I would get this again. Udon noodle with pork belly: noodles were kind of irregular in lengths. I really liked the sauce with it but it felt like it was missing something. Light dish. Tc double cheese burger: very strong flavors, somewhat sweet. Dense/heavy dish . Our waiter was quick and friendly. The restaurant lighting was dimmed and gave a more intimate /bar environment. I think the ac was broken here because it was very warm and they had fans going on around the room. I think this place would be good for someone who is prefers an American fusion cuisine that leans heavily on the western style dishes. The fusion elements were cute but I still left unsatisfied but still full. We did not park. We walked here right from the river walk. Not a bad place to go if you arrive in town after 9 pm.
