We've lived in the city for 6 years and I have no idea how I have never been here. This is probably our regular Mexican restaurant moving forward because it's so convenient and the prices are very fair for the area. We met some friends here who had already been there for awhile. And yet, the servers were still eager to help and take care of us. We had great service the whole evening. Food was SUPER quick to come out, and your typical mexican food. I love a good combo and birria tacos. Drinks were great, and you can upgrade to top shelf for just a few extra bucks. Definitely a great spot to hit your mexican food craving! read more

Loved it! I went here for lunch with my friend and we both brought our dogs. We sat outside and while they were bringing us menus, they also brought water cups for the dogs! This was my first time dining outside with my pup and since it was hot, I appreciated them doing that. I wanted something light and with protein, so I got the lunch chicken and steak fajitas and a medium guava and mango margarita. They gave us chips, salsa, and water to start. The chips were fresh and crisp, while the salsa had a nice kick of spice but it wasn't over the top. The margaritas were refreshing and I liked that we could mix the flavors. They weren't too busy, so it wasn't long until our food came. My fajitas had a good ratio of each meat and the accompaniments (rice, beans, and salad) were quite tasty as well. I was honestly surprised to find good Mexican food in St. Louis, but here we are writing a grand review for La Crazy Margarita. So let's start there, their pina colada margarita was absolutely phenomenal. It quenched thirst I didn't even realize I had. Had it not been 11am, I would've knocked back a few! I had the lunch special that included a hard shell taco and enchilada and both were delicious. The hard shell taco was quite authentic for being hard shell and the flavor profiles reminded me of my aunt's cooking when I was little. The salsa isn't too spicy which I appreciated. I tried the Burritos Verdes with chicken, and I really enjoyed. The refried beans were rich and delicious, and the burritos, while simple, were filling and flavorful. I will say that the chicken inside could have used a bit more moisture, perhaps sauce, as it was all that was inside, but it had a good spice to it and the verde sauce made the tortillas really soft (which I tend to like). The staff was hustling, and we waited a couple of minutes for a table which is okay- we understood they were trying their best! We were seated towards the back, and I noticed all of the fun drinks around when we were being seated. Lots of room and tables, they even have a big back room which I feel like would be good for big groups. I ended up ordering a watermelon margarita and a chicken quesadilla. The margarita was good, it was definitely on the more super sweet side. My quesadilla was super good- what's not to love about chicken, cheese, and a tortilla. Chips were fresh and so was the salsa. Never came to the table except to bring the food, and never cleared the table when we were done. Restaurant itself was in poor condition. Had a wonderful experience at La Crazy Margarita. The restaurant is decorated with lots of bright colors. I went for my birthday and they were able to quickly seat 7 of us. They provided chips and salsa for the table, which were yummy. Five of us ordered the Crazy Margarita which was fun, brightly colored and packed with flavor. You get to choose two different frozen flavors for your margarita and it comes adorned with fruit and tajin on the rim. Highly recommend getting mango and raspberry together. I'm baffled as to why this place isn't packed. Maybe people just don't know about it yet. The service is lightening fast and the people are super friendly. The ambiance is laid back, and the music is good. The chimichanga was terrific, and the refried beans were possibly the best I've ever had. Normally refried beans aren't a standout dish, but the cheese on top was perfect. The only downside was that they weren't serving alcohol when I came in, so I couldn't get a margarita.
