My husband's favorite place to eat! This time I was with my Peruvian friend. I was wondering if she approves this place. She wanted to try several things. So, we ordered the seafood sampler. It came with fried shrimp, fried fish chunk, fried calamari, and fish ceviche. In the middle of the plate, there was mayo to enjoy with food. She also wanted to try seafood soup. Even though both of us were hungry, we could barely finished the food. It was plenty. All foods were delicious as always. My Peruvian friend was impressed too. She even took some food to go. Due to everything happening, the prices went up a few dollars. But I think it's still reasonable and worth it.

Stopped by for the drive thru. The line was relatively quick and the food was good for "fast food". I ordered both chicken and steak and they were both a bit dry by the time I got home to eat, so maybe something worth considering if you're planning on getting food to go. I've had dine in previously and it wasn't as dry.

First off, I should have written this review about two weeks ago but I didn't have the energy to. Writing reviews is a lot of work, I see why I'm not an Elite. I thought I was cut out but I'm not. Anyhoooo, let's get into this review. On this day, I wanted to eat something semi healthy so I chose La Granja. I feel like La Granja is way better than Pollo Tropical any day. When I go to this restaurant, which is not often, I always end up ordering the half chicken combo. It includes, half a chicken obviously, black beans, white rice, sweet plantains and a drink. I think it cost me around $13, I'm not sure exactly but it's around that price range. This plate is enough to make two full meals out of. The chicken wasn't dry, the black beans had flavor and even the white rice had a bit of a flavor as well. This location has a drive through for those who are like me, too lazy to go inside to order. As for the workers inside, the drive thru lady looked like she did not want to be there at all, no greetings or a smile on her face. All and all, I would return because the food is good. Until next time , Dueces!

Great place for a quick meal. I had the 1/2 chicken meal with rice, beans and bananas. The husband had grilled steak and the daughter had the noodles with beef. All was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Huge portions - could have gotten two dishes and shared. Restaurant was very clean and bathrooms in great condition. Helpful staff

Not that location but the one further down Nmb these people need to get there business clean Roach in my ice smh Roach punch

    Rotisserie Chicken

I stopped by this place because the reviews were good, however this has to be the worse Peruvian rotisserie chicken place I've had! The chicken was extremely dry and flavorless. Aside from that the chicken was greasy, rotisserie chicken should not be greasy. Save your time and go elsewhere.

Do not expect a clean restaurant or nice people, but it serves the purpose of a fast beans rice and chicken lunch.

Good mix of Peruvian dishes... the Lomo Saltado and ceviche are excellent! The only bad thing is the parking space, will get crowded.

I'm an omakase lover so I know fresh fish when I taste it. Barra Callao is as fresh as it gets. And their small intimate space with the chefs counter makes for a lovely experience that is fun yet relaxed. We looked over the menu and basically wanted everything so we just told the chef to start sending us dishes until we tapped out. And that is what he did. I wish I could say I had a favorite dish but they were all delicious. You really can't go wrong. I'm already going back next week to try the rest of the menu. They don't know it yet, but I'm about to be one of their new regulars.

We did ride share to the restaurant, arrived 20 minutes early and were melting when they opened the door. Staff came to the door at 4:45 and said they were setting up but didn't offer to let us wait inside. Food was very good but hard to enjoy your meal drenched in sweat. Very disappointing after looking forward to the experience all week. Understood this was not a traditional restaurant but the experience could easily have been better. Definitely need to explain the opening policy or provide a waiting area out of the weather.

As an appetizer ordered the Tiradito de Pulpo al Olivo (boiled octopus for tenderness, then thinly sliced, served over avocado and topped with a creamy sauce made from kalamata olives, mayonnaise and olive oil). It was a plentiful and good looking dish, enough for at least two. Then, for the main dish, I ordered the Jalea Mixta. A veritable mountain of perfectly deep fried crunchy seafood including mussels, octopus, fish, squid and shrimp. It's a very large serving. My wife and I are good eaters and yet could not finish it. (Pro tip: order the salsa criolla on the side so that it does not ruin the crunchiness of the dish). The wine if choice was the Pampa Merlot, from Argentina. The restaurant features a well stocked bar and decent (although not extensive wine selection).

You can bring a group here since there will be space! They offer traditional Peruvian food including ceviche and chaufa. Two of my favorite dishes! The ceviche came out with the chaufa which we asked for it to come out first but that's okay. The ceviche was spicy and loaded with chunks of white fish. The chaufa was also a large portion and flavorful! The service was good, I deducted a star since it took awhile to get the food even though they were not busy. We asked for the ceviche to come out as an appetizer but instead waited 25 minutes for both items to come out. They do offer a Peruvian buffet that I'm very interested in so I plan to come back to try that!

All the foods were freshly prepared, and arrived relatively fast to our table, so we all We're able to start eating and enjoying our food together. They also have a lunch menu! It is a reduced portion of their menu as it includes only 5 choices, but the choices are good enough that they are a great sampler of the food and the portion size is abundant! We all took some home for dinner! This time we did not taste their desserts, but I have such a craving for the chocolate cake that looked delicious, that I'm sure I'll be back soon! I ordered the tenderloin over the huancaina risotto and it was a huge portion (not a lunch menu item). The sauce was a bit salty so I did not take it "to go", just the delicious risotto and the tenderloin chunks. Three friends ordered the "trio" sampler with ceviche, fried calamari and some risotto; a couple friends ordered the sautéed chicken with white rice and French fries that looked spectacular, and a couple other friends ordered the fettuccini in huancaina sauce with the breaded chicken filet that was a humongous dish and very yummy! Finally one friend ordered a Maki Sushi roll that was beautifully plated, and another ordered the seafood risotto that was also very yummy. Everything smelled and looked like something I would've loved to have... so juat Enjoy and come back for more! Don't forget to check the last page for those lunch specials!
