I had a really disappointing experience at La Mesa RV and wasted a lot of time. Came in to look at a specific coach and narrowed down exactly the model we needed and everything. Unfortunately they didn't have any in stock, ok fine. So we looked elsewhere and found the exact model we wanted new for a good price, etc. Our salesman (Anthony DeMarco) follows up and says he can get order us that exact model for the same price as the other dealer. I figured it was worth it since la Mesa was more convenient and Anthony had been helpful thus far. This is where I went wrong. I jumped through all the hoops of filling out the credit application and getting written confirmation of the cost, rate and monthly payments so I figured all was great! I was so excited! Well later that day his sales manager calls to tell me that the deal is no good. It's basically too good of a deal and he won't honor it. I was completely dumbfounded. We had it in writing! They are very shady and untrustworthy. Then I proceeded to get calls from other customer service folks, but none could explain what happened or make it right. La Mesa RV Center sold me a 2023 "rolling brick". Nothing works properly and the RV caught fire. The dealership has taken none of responsibility, and the fire happened on their property. Bought a slightly used Class B van from Phoenix La Mesa. It has been 6 weeks and still no license plates. I contacted the AZMVD. I was told La Mesa never submitted paperwork. They charged me $2800 in taxes and license but no record of me buying the rig? I have called them and left messages for John but he does not call me back. I purchased a very low mileage Winnebago Travato travel van the end of July 25. Worked with Gabe in Mesa and then with Mark the Sales Mgr. in Phoenix since the van had a paint issue. Both were great to work with. I quickly got the paint issue taken care of. But on my first trip I discovered other issues. 3 of the 4 tires were causing significant vibration (out-of-round) and 3 of the 4 large side windows that Winnebago installs had dropped about a half inch and leaked. The van was out of warranty but after getting a case number from Winnebago on the windows and discussions with James the Pre-delivery Mgr., Dominic the Service Mgr. and eventually Holly the Lead Service Advisor all was resolved at no extra cost to me. They paid to replace all 4 defective tires and had their Service Dept. remove, shim and re-seal all 4 windows (per Winnebago 'good-faith' coverage). I was initially very disappointed but La Mesa RV managers and Winnebago did all they could to fix the issue and make me a very satisfied customer. read more

Disappointing Experience with Service and price gouging ! I dropped off my 2019 Storyteller van on Tuesday, July 23, expecting a few hours for a diagnosis. By Friday, I had no update, so I called and left a message for my service rep. I finally got a response on the following Tuesday, where I was informed that they only update clients once a week to make things easier for their workload--not exactly a commitment to customer service. Three weeks later, they finally communicated with Volta and diagnosed the issue. I was informed that I needed a new inverter and received a jaw-dropping quote of $10,500. When I expressed how unreasonable this was, they "reduced" it to $8,000. After doing my research, I found that the part from Volta costs only $3,200. When I brought this up, I was told that even if I purchased the part myself, La Mesa would still charge me the full $8,000. I ended up buying the part directly from Volta, but it took another two weeks just to have it installed after the part arrived on October 4. When I raised these concerns with management, I was told they always charge a minimum of 80% markup on parts, regardless of the cost to the customer. I am extremely disappointed in the entire process and their approach to customer service and pricing. I would not recommend anyone to do business here. read more

If we could do negative numbers, we would. In October we traded RVs because our RV was damaged in New Mexico and we had to get back to TN. Due to a show they were having that weekend, we were treated like peons because we didn't want a huge Diesel. We had a half ass walk through and now our hot water tank has frozen/ruptured and needs to be replaced because we were told it was waterless and didn't need winterized. We were told getting a license plate would be easy - they do out of state trades all the time. We are still trying to get that accomplished and it is NOT easy. We are STILL trying to get that accomplished. We absolutely will NEVER deal with them again and highly advise people to go elsewhere. They have not returned our calls asking for help in getting the license plate issue resolved. read more

called LaMesa RV asked if we can pick up the RV early they said yes so headed down and having to pay $187.00 for replacement of our couch that should have been free from day one. The guy said it was for supplies and tax after the billed our extended warranty company $500.00 so, paid i then got in the RV and started driving it home while Bobby was in the other car. I heard this noise from the back of the RV. I stopped at a light and turned well the cushion was on the floor near the bathroom door. I then parked in front of the driveway and went inside to look and yes, the pillow was on the ground and then the couch to the bed part was like we pulled it open. So, then Bobby pulled up and said what's going on and told him tge pillow was on the ground the couch opened up (bed part) and had to close it. He said ok let's take it for a ride so, we went out and during our drive we heard a noise Bobby turned around and said oh great the pillow is on the ground again, and the couch opened up so, I went back inside after we had to stop to again to put pillow on the couch where it was supposed to be and closed the couch (see picture). This absolutely ridiculous now we have a couch that won't stay shut. I hope another of people see this and don't buy from like i said idiots at LaMesa RV. If I call them they will want it back for another month no we will figure something out done done done with LaMesa RV. my wife and I purchased a 2022 tiffin allegrobus 45opp from them last year and it has had several problems that were supposed to have been fixed before we took delivery of the coach Ian Johnson the general sales manager got involved and has been a nightmare to work with using vulgar language yelling at me slamming his hands down telling me it's not their problem it's mine and all the care about is sales. Now he blocks my calls and refuses to make things right they have had my unit in their custody for over 7 months of the year I've owned it every time the try and fix something they break or damage something else they refuse to give us our money back so we can get another unit that hopefully doesn't have these issues they continue to work on it and pick up the bill cause its their problem but don't want to compensate us for our 7 months of loss usage they had a company move it to another location to try and fix the problem and that company damaged more things inside the motorhome and slept in our bed left their pillow and blankets in our bed lamesa didnt have it cleaned and sanitized my wife and I spent a day cleaning it and hired a company to steam clean all the surfaces it has been the wiret decision we have ever made to by an rv from lamesa phoenix location. read more

We purchased a slightly used RV at their show at State Farm Stadium. During the delivery process at the dealership a few days later, we were told that they just did an oil change on it. Once we got it home I noticed that it had an old dirty oil filter. Of course, they pointed fingers at their different departments. Finally, the service person said that they could do an oil change but they are booked for weeks out. These guys are super friendly at the shows but once you buy they don't give a sh$t about you. The only 5 star ratings is for their sales department. The service department is the worst. We have owned our Entegra for a year now. We have had to bring it in every time we use it 5 times now. Every time we need to get something fixed they tell us they have to get it OK'd from Entegra. Then they tell us after having it for three to four weeks the warranty was denied. So they don't fix it. I have sent our service rep several videos of the problems but I think it's too much work for him to go to bat for us. We have found a small dealer in Phoenix that has a 3.9 rating not a 2.1 rating that said they will get everything taken care of without a problem. National Indoor RV Center. La Mesa RV in Phoenix gave me a once in my lifetime experience that I will never ever forget. It was serious business made simple by the best crew, starting with Brenda, my saleswoman extraordinaire, Scott , the sales manager, Craig, Brenda's stunt double, and Michelle, in finance, with whom I could have spent the afternoon with, just talking. These are just the first crew in my crew of crews that earned honorable mention for their work. It was Brenda however, that started the ball rolling. She answered my call, told me that the 2023 Winnebago Micro Minnie I wanted was on the lot in Phoenix and it was at a priced lower, with upgrades, than the exact same model we were about to purchase elsewhere. The best part was that it took less that two hours for Scott to call, congratulating me, and letting me know that Carmen in the delivery department would soon be calling to set up my deliver date and time. That happened way sooner than expect AND he put any concerns of mine to rest while I had to wait for my schedule to clear. And it did! Mary and I picked her up today! But wait! There are a few more people that were involved in my extraordinary experience. Within a few minutes upon our arrival from our epic journey from our home in San Leandro, Ken, orientation Guru, met us in the lobby and quickly escorted us to see what we had been waiting so long to see. Our brand new rig! That thing can't disappoint! It's so cool got chills when I laid eyes on it. Ken was the perfect delivery person. We had watched every YouTube ON YouTube about our rig. But all of those were just a warm up for the real deal walk through with Ken. Ken took us to an unexpected and highly delightful NEXT LEVEL of explanation, demonstration, and our favorite part about Ken, he made it FUN!!!! It's supposed to be and Ken, I can't tell you how much your delivery meant to us and me especially. You too your time and showed me details I would had to figure out the difficult way. You are a true service professional and I know a thing or ten about service. Carmen (man, I hope I spelled that right), you're next. You hooked me up with a crew of good mechanics who readied my new truck for the trailer. Jacob, had my trailer stabilizer kit installed in short order, put our new plate on, and that was it! Sounds simple? It was! It was my all time favorite ever experience anywhere. Why? Well, they facilitated the next chapter of my wife and my life's next chapter and nothing on planet Earth could possibly be more exciting that this! They broke my key, they broke my control monitor , and they marked up my floor This has been the first year of hell dealing with them Once this work is done, if ever, I will never go back here And as I plan my retirement and think of upgrading my RV I will never purchase from them again. Mildred in the Tucson store, who schedules rigs for repairs, needs to go. She kept talking over me and over me while I'm trying to explain to her, that we want everything fixed at one time instead of making the long trip there twice. Brand new rig with issues. She was rude and hung up on me. I have reported her to their corporate office through email but I will be calling them about her, tomorrow. In my day, i would have gotten fired for treating a customer the way she did me, not to mention her hanging upon me. This should not be tolerated! read more

In May of 2024, they sold me a 2024 Winnebago Revel they represented as being "New". After taking delivery I discovered numerous areas under the vehicle where equipment was previously installed and then removed. They showed me a picture of Revel they had at another location that had all sorts of accessories mounted up possibly for shows or whatever. I returned a few days later and they told me that unit was gone but offered me the one I eventually bought for $10,000 less. Since taking delivery I have had nothing but problems with the battery and/or the inverter. Specifically, the coach A/C will not run after 10 of 15 minutes of use and shuts down, When the unit is running, the A/C works just fine. I have been told after three attempts to get it repaired under warranty that the system isn't designed to handle the kind of heat we experience in Phoenix. Yesterday, 5/2/2025 I tried to run the A/C while it was 92 in Phoenix and again, it shut down after 10 to 15 minutes of use. My thoughts are if it can't handle 92 degrees what is the point of having an A/C ? In addition to the above, a hood hinge had to be replaced due to improper closing technique. I did not notice this immediately but discovered the hood was misaligned from pictures I took of it while it was still on the lot. That cost me around $300 to get fixed. Also, I had to get a front end alignment because it was tracking horribly going to and from Flagstaff and this was not covered under warranty costing me around $900 at Arrowhead Mercedes. I had to have the awning repaired as well as a leak under the sink which were covered under warranty. Those repairs were done by RV Renovators in Mesa, AZ. I think they sold me a Demo unit as being new because of all the areas where I found evidence of equipment being installed and then removed before I took delivery. My thoughts are that the unit they sold me was the same one they showed me pictures of earlier with all the accessory lights and bumper installed. If they were using it as a demo and they turned all that equipment on at the same time, could ii have damaged the electrical system ? The hood hinge was caused by improper closing per the body shop, they said they see that often on Sprinters. The front-end alignment, who knows but I shouldn't have had to pay for it. Im going to bring this somewhere for a fourth attempt to get the electrical system up to par so it does what it is supposed to. Does anybody know a good Consumer Fraud or Lemon Law attorney? All this said, if you do decide to do business with La Mesa, I highly recommend getting a thorough inspection of your unit even if new before you accept it. Sold our RV to La Mesa RV on 3/27/25. They "asked" if they could use our AZ plate to drive it to California and that upon arrival they would remove and return the plate to us the next day. They proceeded to utilize the plate throughout northern California for over a month, racking up tolls, that have now come back on us. It is now 6/9/25 (2-1/2 months later) of trying to get our plates back and tolls paid. We're now getting 2nd notices of non-payment for multiple tolls. They (Jerry Jensen, (Operations Manager), Greg (did the buy transaction) and Tom (drove it to CA)) "promise" a lot and DO NOT DELIVER. They blamed their "delivery guy".... THEIR employee...and stated "we don't do that". They take ZERO accountability. Will NEVER do business again with this company. read more

I don't even know what to say besides, first don't buy a Class B Entegra Ethos LI as it's filled with problems . Air conditioner is pretty awful. Now for sales, they will pretty much tell you what you want to hear to get you to buy, ask more questions and I'm sure their noses will start looking like Pinocchio. It's what they don't say that screws you. Don't waste your money on any of the extras. Special services and what not unless you take the time in the financing office read everything they are trying to convince you. I seriously don't know how the people who work here can sleep at night. Do your homework there's a reason they are getting 1 star reviews. Now for service, my rig has been in twice for the air conditioner and the last time it took 5 weeks to get a new one put in after waiting for 4 weeks to diagnose. They will sell you a broken RV and not repair it, even if you report all the defects and damages immediately. Our RV was sold brand new to someone from their dealership and they traded it back in to them and then we bought it. We went on a trip and couldn't get the Murphy bed up without dismantling the entire system, turns out they didn't even screw the mechanism back into the sides and wall! The screws were all over the floor, rolling around! This is the only dealership that's ever touched this RV... Pam was great but she didn't take care of us when these issues came up... we are young and would have been customers for life! $130,000 purchase and they couldn't even put it back together properly... read more

La Mesa is the worst at supporting what they sell. They put all the effort and customer service into selling you the rig, but then absolutely fail at supporting you after the sale. Our rig is still under warranty, but we've only been able to get it in once in the entire year we've had it. The repairs they did were of poor quality, and must be repaired again. Once again, La Mesa has done us wrong. Do not go to this place. We purchased our RV and a screen on one of the windows was missing. We were told it's ordered and when we tried to follow up, they either put it on another RV or told us they couldn't find it. Multiple times we've had discussions about the missing screen. Now we're reminding them again and they've told us it's too late. Clearly there is documentation of the missing screen. We've paid for it! Where is it? Do not buy here or go here. They will have you sign and make promises. Oh sure, we'll get you the missing screen that you paid for. Service is horrible. Over the last week we have called over 20 times and had the phone just hand up. Called the switchboard and left a message and were told we would get a return call- 2 days later- nothing.
