This is the one of the best if not the best pizzas I have ever found Or come across in Miami. I came here with two of my tenants who quickly became my friends over some beers and some tapa portions and pizza. In the end we each had our pizza having ordered three. The rigatoni was too al-dente even by traditional Italian standards. The rosemary bread was unimpressive and also salty. On the plus side, the mushroom and white sauce pizza was pretty good. Prices were a bit high even by Miami standards (a bottle of water for $12 had me shook, I didn't even realize water wasn't complimentary until the bill came). I thought it strange that when I asked to have the pizza cut, having tried with the little serrated steak knife that they provide, that our server Andreina said we don't do that. Especially for the pizza that was covered with prosciutto which the little serrated knife could not cut so it just made a mess of the pizza. Aren't I the customer paying $250 for dinner for 4? Best pizza in Miami. Having seen story after story about La Natural we decided to give it a try. First it is important to note that this place gets busy, so it is highly recommended to get a reservation. When you walk in you are transported to the Mediterranean; the decor and environment make it a perfect place to share a meal (although it can get loud). But the real hero is the food, we tried a variety of dishes during our visit, some of the "plates" were out of this world, while others were just ok.... But the pizza is amazing, the dough is the perfectly balanced, and the tomato sauce is to die for. Additionally, they have multiple combinations available so it is easy for anyone to find a tasty dish. The only downside of the experience is that the service was a bit spotty. This is our second time coming to this restaurant and I'm still in love with the burrata pizza I crave it all the time but just do to a busy schedule I don't get to eat it as much but it's definitely worth it! Absolutely adore this place. Do yourself a favor and ask to taste the two orange wines available by glass on the menu. I personally prefer the Bauer BARIG. It has a subtle nutty finish, and is somewhat reminiscent of a good craft. My favorites -- 1. Papaya & Kumquat (Sweet, Bitter, Salty) 2. Japanese sweet potato (Buttery, Crunchy goodness) 3. Coppa & Sundried Tomato Jam (Savory) I really enjoy the flavor profile of the sourdough bread and appreciate all it's fluffy wonder. However, it's really missing a dipping side. If this was paired with a baba ganoush (with some creme fraiche as the secret ingredient)... it'd be a game changer. I wasn't the biggest fan of the rigatoni as it was way too spicy for me, even though I typically eat pastas with some heat. In terms of the ambiance, it's dim-lit and resembles a European tavern. I had high expectations for this meal. All of these expectations were not met, and furthermore, I feel as though I have been scammed and taken advantage of. As a Miami local, I'm aware at the prices of most fine dining restaurants. I consider myself quite a foodie. Well, I thought I had seen it all but boy was I wrong. First of all, I clearly asked the waiter to give me all my dishes one at a time so could thoroughly enjoy eat individual plate. Idk about you, but most fine dining establishments would never give you all your dishes at once. That is simply overwhelming to the palette. So basically, our table was just completely full of a bunch of dishes at once. Here is the ultimate kicker. We ordered the spicy rigatoni, and once it arrived we asked the waiter for cheese. The waiter returned and told us that in order to provide us with Parmesan cheese to go on top of our pasta it would be a $9 charge. We were astounded by this information. In what world is Parmesan for a pasta dish that is already 26$ extra??? Never in all my years have I seen this. I am so glad I found this place. The pizza is literally life changing and I seriously mean this whole heartedly. Literally is the BEST pizza I've ever had in Miami. Living in Italy for almost 20 years, im extremely picky when it comes to Italian food in general and even more so when it comes to pizza. The dough is exceptional, and the tomato sauce just heavenly. I truly feel it's possible to have a 5 star experience here, but ours fell way short for a few reasons. Let's start with the positives: there are some gems to be found on the menu, but there are some coal lumps too. Try the white Sichuan pizza or the pineapple plate, they're both unique and delicious. Skip the leeks and brussel sprout salad; they're unimaginative and feel like someone trying a recipe for the first time. Now for the bad: the worst part of our experience is a toss up between the hair in my brussel sprout salad and our wine glasses constantly being empty. We ordered dessert but it never arrived - we sat with nothing on the table for 22 minutes (yea I counted) before anyone checked on us again. The owner was there chatting with friends, but we weren't granted the elite status required to get our wine glasses filled from the bottle we bought, but was kept behind the bar. We had to live vicariously through his friends getting service while he held court. I appreciate trying to keep the table clean, but it only works if you are actually getting the refills of your wine. The wine list itself is well put together and full of excellent wines, but you'll enjoy them more at home, without the markup and having to hope for a refill. I'm sad I can't recommend this place. The space is nice, there's some good food, but skip it if your looking for a a date spot or a place to hang with friends. They have a lot of growing up to do, but the kid has potential. Warning - Poor management and bad service. We were regular customers but need to share the experience we just had because it was the worst customer service experience of my entire life. We made a dinner reservation, separated by two tables. We understood the two tables would be separated but still close to each other. When we arrived the host was not accommodating at all. We were forced to sit far away in two separate tables when there was an extra table available in between us that could have been moved to accommodate the entire group together. When we asked to speak to the owner, they said, "I don't care if you never come back." The owner said that about his own regular customers... I was looking forward to try this place. It's in the up and coming neighborhood of little River. I live 2 min from the place and I would say it's rather still coming than "up". The door was locked when we got there at 8.30pm they opened it when they saw us at the door. Not sure if that was a glitch or a safety measure. The place is nicely done. The stucco walls and the build in benches along the walls give it an "out of the US" feel. The decor is very simple and they have a nice selection of wines. On beers they only have 2 Japanese ones. They are yummy. We ordered a little bit of everything. The Japanese sweet potato is just half a potato for $22. I wouldn't consider it a "plate" rather a side and therefore incredibly overpriced. This little piece of nightshade would have to speak Japanese to live up to its price tag. The staff looks nice but is not very knowledgeable. Our server corrected me when I ordered loosely the Papaya with fish roe ( bottarga) telling me it's shaved fish not roe. Maybe the kitchen wants to give the staff a run down on what things are. The sage pasta sounded amazing, so we got two for the table. Both extremely salty. We had to return them and they brought them out very late as they had to cook them again. We were told that the chefs tried our salty pasta and agreed but the apology did not reflect on the bill. The passion fruit panda cotta was delicious and the size is big enough to share. The ambience was nice, calm. Can't recall hearing any music. Just regular chatter from the tables. The place was full on a Wednesday night and the crowd mainly locals, foodies and according in the cars parked outside on the wealthier side. I took of 1 star for service and 1 star for price / value / location ratio. I remember gratuity being something you paid in accordance to the service received but when a tip of 20% is automatically added to your bill I would say you are paying wages. If you read one review about this place, read this one. It's a similar story to the many one-star reviews for La Natural. I reserved a table for two over a week in advance for my friend's 25th birthday, she flew in from another state to visit me and we chose La Natural as the spot to have her birthday dinner. We arrive at 8 pm sharp, time of our reservation, and are told our table won't be ready for another 15 minutes, with no emotion or apology from their hostess/waitress. This was very annoying, but it was only the beginning of the disaster that is La Natural. After nearly 15 minutes passed of sitting on a bench at the entrance of the restaurant, the hostess bluntly told us we would have to wait an additional 20 minutes, or we could go sit outside. As other reviewers point out, their outside patio is a few picnic tables with wooden crates for seats. Laughable, unacceptable. I said no, we would not sit outside, as we made a reservation in advance for the dining room, and it clearly said dining room on my reservation. She told me that reservations can be asked to be seated outside, and I told her there's no way we're sitting by the train tracks on the bleak patio while paying a premium for their food. We waited 35 minutes to be seated at our table. Waitress brought us samples of the wine, and when we decided we didn't want to order a glass, she whisked our glasses away with the samples still in them. It is so clear this team has never been trained in fine dining, but they are trained in being pretentious with a bad attitude, unwarranted for an average restaurant when true upscale restaurants treat each customer with respect and care. I was then informed they were sold out of their one and only item on the dessert menu, sold out at 8:35 pm. It was my friends 25th birthday dinner. I asked if they would comp one of the items off our order, since they were out of dessert and made us wait 35 minutes for our reserved table. The waitress/hostess just said no, and that we could write a review so here I am! La Natural is trying to be an upscale, gastronomic restaurant but the management is poor and cheap, they do not know how to run a business and their food tastes average, like an okay home-cooked meal if that. La Natural has such a great potential to be a wonderful restaurant. They have one of the best pizza in Miami but the pizza can be somewhat inconsistent. We dined here a few times and the same pizza we ordered came out somewhat different at different times. Also, the service can be good but it can also be aloof. It has such a nice atmosphere but they have strong fans blowing everywhere so it is hard to avoid any seats without the strong fan blowing at you during the entire diner. They have nice air conditioning so I don't understand why they have to have the strong fans everywhere. Perhaps a manager onsite can take care of some of these issues as we have not seen any "adult" in the dining room area. read more

A cozy local restaurant located in Little River. I like the design of this restaurant, it has a minimalist earthy touch to it. We had lunch here on a Sunday and the service was great. We ordered a salad, pizza, and chocolate cake. The food was organic and fresh. They even grow some of the vegetables in their garden. The salad was simple but so delicious. Another five star review for another 5 star visit. We were originally a party of 4 then a party of 5, they accommodated us nicely but I recommend giving them a heads up if you can! I appreciate the help! The oyster mushrooms were delicious as ever, and the pizza was to die for once again. I cannot stress enough how chewy and fluffy the dough is. This was the most disappointing pizza I've had in a long time, and one of the more expensive ones too. Way too heavy on the sauce, which tasted like tomato paste, and the cheese was very sparse too. We shared a mortadella and pecorino plate to start which was meh, nothing special. The decor is nice, but be warned there is no sound absorption, so it's very loud. La natural is a non-tipping restaurant which means they jack up the prices so they can pay the staff higher wages. That's fine, but imagine my surprise when they slapped an additional TWENTY percent service charge on because there's a party of 6. According to the owner, "that's their policy." They just charged a double tip for lousy service. (It took 20 minutes to get an order in). She defends the policy by saying it's disclosed when the reservation is made, but at that time you do not know it's a non-tipping restaurant and the prices are purposefully inflated. And TWENTY percent? The service was poor, not superior. I essentially was taken for 40% here with the double tip. By the way, if you're not a party of 6 they print the check with a tip line (not additional tip), even though it's "non-tipping." Please be careful at this place, they're devious. read more
