Cute bakery with plenty of seats. Came here for a quick lunch, got the lunch combo with la pan bagnat and the onion soup, both were decent. Hubby got an Apple flake pastry and it was delicious. Coffee was a bit watery.

Very nice ambiance! Servers were very sweet. Coffee is fairly good, not very sweet. Loved the cute pastry/dessert selection! Came later in the day so not too much left, but taste was great. Would love to come her for brunch or for coffee + yapping with friends

Found this delightful bakery near my hotel. Luckily got there a little early. It quickly became very popular. It's a beautiful bakery and you can hear many of the employees speaking in French. Definitely added to the ambience. The food and service was excellent. I had a cappuccino and breakfast sandwich. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Quite the authentic French experience. Everything is made fresh and patrons have full visibility of the kitchen and the process. Great spot for brunch, breakfast and grab an adult beverage as wines are also available. Definitely enjoyed the quick 5 min stop as I took mine to go

I stopped by La Parisienne French Bakery on a Saturday afternoon. It was packed! Even though they have plenty of seating, it is clearly a very popular spot. The selection is huge, ranging from savory lunch options (sandwiches, soups, salads) to classic French pastries like Paris-Brest and Canelés. I tried two items: Canelé: The flavor was excellent, but the texture was a miss for me. The crust was hard rather than crispy, making it difficult to bite into (maybe because it was cold). Opera Cake: The layering was beautiful, but I found the sponge a bit too wet. It was soaked too heavily in the coffee syrup for my personal taste. However, I will give it another try next time for other pastries and cakes.

Yogurt parfait with strawberries and granola

This bakery has a distinctive French aesthetic with the decor and types of assorted baked goods. Primarily sells pastries, tarts, croissants, and coffee drinks. I was with a small group of friends searching for breakfast and landed here. I hoped to find something to appeal to my personal taste (not a fan of bread) so that we could dine together and was able to order a small yogurt parfait to tide me over. This parfait was one of the few breakfast alternatives to bread products on the menu. Other members of our party had similar comments. Service was quite slow with multiple employees on hand. It was raining outside and there is limited indoor seating in a fairly crowded space. Lingering and relaxing did not feel like an option. Walls serve as a gallery display for some photographic art depicting local scenes and these are also available for purchase with the prices prominently posted.

This was a quaint little coffee shop perfect for an afternoon break from our sightseeing. It was within a 10 minute walk from the Space Needle. There were a few tables for dine in as well as a couple outdoor tables. We placed our order at the counter and they brought our coffees and pastries to us. The pastries were delicious and the coffees were flavorful.

You know a place is legit when everyone here speaks French. We got the Pain Au Chocolat Hazelnut, berries tart, two sandwiches, and a yuzu cake. The line was out the door but it was cold out and my husband said that of all people, I should be able to wait inside since I was carrying our child so the lady in front got the hint and helped move the line inside. The pastries were SO good. The sandwiches we had warmed up for our drive which was our mistake because they were hard by the time we ate them. I ordered a chicken one per the bakery's recommendation and I'm glad I listened. I thought it works be too plain or boring but it's so delicious.

How does one describe a creamy dollop of French cuisine served in a chic location that should practically charge for smells. The patties are light and flaky, the owner when I used to see her was so welcoming and so French you almost feel bad for not studying French in school more. La Parisienne is a gem that survives because its essence is pure undiluted French that warms the heart. They found Carmel sauce for me and it's such a treat to eat here.

    Lemon and Hazelnut Tarts

Delicious tarts! My family had the Lemon Tart and Hazelnut Tart. It's one of Seattle's popular cafes and cake shops. Pricy but a nice spot to enjoy its cakes and coffees. Only credit cards are accepted with a surcharge. A turn off on that one.

Delicious croissants, desserts and sandwiches. We tried the croissants, a smoked salmon sandwich with avocado, the chicken sandwich with Brie, macarons, and a lemon meringue dessert! They were fabulous and the owner is really kind, very welcoming to our kids and speaking to some of the staff on French. One of the highlights for food this week!

This beautiful French bakery offers some of most delectable and attractive pastries I've seen in Seattle. The croissants and other baked goods seemed authentic. Although I've had better Kouign Amman (especially at Ballard's Picolinos bakery. The sandwiches are nice warm petit baguettes with good fillings. The coffees were great, as well. The interior of the bakery is beautifully done, reminds one of being in Paris. The pastry cases are attractive and inviting, filled with an enticing variety of desserts. The walls are lined with baskets of bread and baguettes. The restaurant spills out onto the sidewalk, which adds to its Paris bistrot appeal. Service is professional and efficient. It's a great addition to Seattle's culinary scene. The lines were long and restaurant goers seem to enjoy their breakfast here.

Really love this place's bakery so it's very much worth the wait in line on a Sunday morning if you're wondering. Their croissants are my favorite but I also like the sandwiches and quiche. The service is hit or miss. I've been here before and had outright dismissive or rude staff and I've had really lovely and warm staff. If it's busy, it's totally worth it. The tables are tiny and few, but they do have some outdoor tables even in winter if you want to sit outside or have your dog. Only service dogs allowed inside.

Eschew Wifi-enabled tech-absorption in favor of real conversations, long-form thoughts exchanged with multiple intelligences called for in real human connection, or the simple joy of imagination and day dreaming. I love their decorative little tables facing the quiet Capitol Hill side-street itself not particularly attractive -- but which offers a pause for a bite and a sip without the capitalist rushtime nipping at your heels. I've had their stellar and inventive-flavored macarons, but their cakes are no slouches either. The rose pistachio coffee cake was delectable. I make this place a destination because if I am lucky I can get one of those bay-window tables for a vegetarian quiche or Spanish tortilla washed down by coffee. I noticed the use of fresh herbs and the sense of a good ingredients and home-touch hand with their plates, as opposed to the commonplace, harried, sloppy kitchen production. Their drip coffee was too acidic for my taste (I prefer nutty balanced, chocolatey flavor). Next time I would get a latte. A higgledy-piggledy antique-style bathroom in the back is another sign of a time-hewn, characterful place. The brickwork in their narrow back patio is inviting but on a recent Sunday morning had been snagged for a private party. Finally a note to the artful wall tributes to heroic workers martyrs from U.S. history. The cafe elevates the spirit of care for the working person, which is noteworthy. Counter to the loudest mouthpieces of the modern era that would erase these assassinated/ crushed heroes that fought for the wellbeing and life of working people, you know that it is these heroes' spirit of courage that continues to outshine the capitalist drivel and machine mind of the majority.

I was pleasantly surprised (and amused) to find their macarons with custom printing at the "REVIVE I-5" booth at the University Street Fair. I was amused enough to write a separate review for them. The quality of the artwork and print colors are fantastic and vibrant with the rainbow colors. Please see photo. If I was interested in custom macarons, I would most definitely order some from Macadons. The flavor in this case is a simple vanilla, which has its charms, though I typically buy other flavors. The shell doesn't have the characteristic slight crispy, which is understandable since these are not fresh from the store. The inside is a very creamy filling that squished out on the sides as I bite down. Everyone has their own texture preferences. I personally like it less creamy. I normally buy their ice cream macarons, but these are still very good. The individual boxes make them great for small gifts.

I had a friend gathering to go to the same night, and wanted to bring some desserts so this place came to mind. For it being very wet and rainy, this place feels like a nice relief from all that with the bright lighting and the cafe-like feel of the place. There's a grassy wall near the back for photo ops, and there are some tables, window seating and front couch seating. They don't only sell macarons here; there's also coffee, tea, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. I got a baker's dozen, which comes with 12 randomly assorted regular-sized macarons in a small container. This particular one came with three limited flavors: red velvet, cran-orange and a pear-like flavor. They were marked separately on a card provided with the box that shows all their regular offerings of macaron flavors. This came to $36 compared to $40 for the same number of macarons if you wanted to choose specifically which flavors you wanted instead. I also got myself a Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich; each one is prepackaged and $8. Both people working at the counter were extremely helpful in helping me decide what to get, and explaining the differences between both sets. Flavor wise, I was not disappointed: - My Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich hit the spot! The macarons did not come apart too easily and I could still maintain the shape of the sandwich throughout. Ice cream consistency is great, and the Thai tea flavor is not too strong. The whole thing is not too sweet by itself either, and this goes for all of their macarons in general. From other visits to their stand during conventions, I recommend their Cap'n Crunch berry, lemon, peach and durian flavors for ice cream sandwiches. - One of my friends and I loved the Vietnamese coffee flavored macaron. Taste is strong like phin-brewed coffee and it didn't have much sweet of a taste, something that would not have done well for this flavor. - The cran-orange and blueberry flavors were our other favorites; both had tastes that reminded me a lot of their respective flavors. - The box also had dark chocolate, vanilla, ube, Thai tea, pistachio and salted caramel flavors. All were decent and tasty. What I like about this place is that the taste for all of their macarons is exactly as advertised and never bogged down by the flavor that macaron shells are usually full of. I can't eat too many of these at once since they can be too sweet over time, so I would save these for a group setting where you can share these. By themselves, they are a great way to get your sweet tooth the love it needs!
