This was my first time going to La Pecora Bianca and I ordered off their lunch restaurant week menu($30 for an app and entree). Went on a Friday and it was pretty busy so I would definitely recommend getting a reservation for here. For apps we got the Whipped Ricotta, Farro Salad, and Meatballs. I would rank them in that order too!! The whipped ricotta had a honey chili flavor that paired perfectly with each other. The Farro Salad is definitely one of the best salads I've tried. The combo of the different ingredients surprised me (like grapes) but it added a nice sweetness to the salad. The apps were delicious but the entrees weren't so good. The rigatoni and gramigna pasta was too hard and wasn't cooked enough so it was hard to eat. There wasn't really any flavor to the gramigna. Overall the restaurant is nice with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. I really liked the apps but was disappointed by the actual entrees.

The atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, making it a great place for brunch, lunch, dinner, or a casual meal while exploring the neighborhood. We visited here on a Thursday evening and sat in the side patio. Its location in the heart of SoHo also makes it a convenient stop while shopping or sightseeing. We loved the fresh, simple approach to Italian food and the comfortable dining experience. The menu features handmade pasta, salads, pizzas, cocktails, and a well-curated wine list, with plenty of options for different tastes and dietary preferences. The service is decent and a bit slower during their busy hours.
I made reservations for a Sunday afternoon the day before and had no trouble finding availability. The restaurant is quite spacious, with plenty of indoor seating. There's some outdoor seating as well, though it feels like it's practically on the sidewalk. The food was good overall--not the best I've had, but definitely enjoyable. The cauliflower with aioli was the standout dish, with excellent flavor and seasoning. The pasta was tasty, but it was a bit too oily for my preference.
My friend made a reservation for the four of us and the good thing about this place is that they will see you even if you're full party isn't there. One of our friends gluten-free so it was very nice that they were able to offer that option without cross contamination and without charging extra for that pasta. Our service was very nice and attentive. I wasn't fond of the fact that they don't have refills for their drinks, such as iced tea; maybe it was as close on the menu and I didn't see it, but I was indeed surprise when I was charged for two iced teas because I got a refill. The pasta was not my favorite. The sauce was a bit bland for my taste and so was the shrimp. The pasta itself was al dente and very well cooked. I wouldn't come back here again, mostly because of the taste of the food itself. Again, attention was very nice, but it's just not even close to the best pasta place you can find in the city.
Despite the fact that I normally obsessively plan every morsel of food we consume whenever we go on any sort of trip or frankly step out of the boundary of our property, our visit here was unusually spontaneous. We were "walking around and looking at the buildings", which is my mom's favorite hobby, with the dogs and needed place that not only would allow the dogs but also had heating lamps. This place crossed our path and had both. Bingo. I ate complete trash the night before and wanted something a little lighter and kinder on the waistline. I was pleased to see some salads on the menu. I went with the kale one, it had carrots and ricotta and a very refreshing dressing that was applied with just the right amount of dressing:ingredient ratio. I ate it in its entirety and felt good about myself afterwards. My mom ordered the brussels sprouts salad which also caught my eye. I had a forkful. Also very enjoyable. GF ordered the burrata for us to share and the scrambled eggs with a lovely hunk of sourdough, arugula, and bacon we gave to the dogs. I would ask her how it was but she is not answering my text messages promptly and I will not wait for a reply. The burrata, which I sampled of course, was delicious, as burrata tends to be. They do a sweet flavor combo with figs and probably balsamic something, I think there were pistachios. I tend to prefer a savory profile with my cheeses but given how common these sweet dishes are I guess I have an unpopular opinion. I got a cocktail that was delicious and strong enough that I (haven't taken a nap in literal years) felt compelled to nap when we arrived home from the city. Service was also excellent. Can't complain.

We only came for a sweet treat, but enjoyed our visit here! We stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and the space was still bustling with people and energy. We got seated outside and it was pleasant enough under the canopy. Table was super small so I wouldn't expect eating a huge meal here, but for us, we shared one dish and it was fine. The tiramisu was huge. We didn't expect it to be that big and it took a lot to finish it, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Good size, tasty, and such a cute design over the top. I would gladly return just for the tiramisu honestly - thanks, La Pecora Bianca!
I've definitely heard mixed reviews on this place, but I honestly had an incredible experience. The service was speedy, which was especially impressive considering how busy the restaurant was. The atmosphere of the store was lively and bustling. It was decorated beautifully, with warm lighting and plenty of seating. The food was delicious and great quality. I enjoyed how rich the meatballs were, paired with crispy pieces of bread and a thick pomodoro sauce. All the pastas I tried were well-done, with flavorful sauces and chewy noodles. I particularly enjoyed the rigatoni with burrata. The burrata added a nice, creamy addition. I thought the broccolini was another solid dish, with freshness from a touch of lemon. I really enjoyed the food here and would absolutely come back!
I came here back in August for my birthday. My co workers had been here before but it was my first time. I had such an amazing time. The food was delicious, the drinks were yummy, and waiter was soooo funny. I wish I remember their name. I can't wait to go back!!
My cousin came into town and wanted to try the sheep tiramisu. For a chain Italian restaurant, the food wasn't bad. Service was friendly and attentive. The food came out fairly quickly. The pasta was fine, and the veal was decently cooked. The zucchini fries came with a nice marinara sauce. The tiramisu was light and not too sweet. If you're in the area and want to try an Instagram fad for dessert, this would be the place for you.
pretty good pasta for a chain! we made a reservation so we didn't have to wait for a weekend lunch/brunch. def suggest doing that. the gramigna has sausage and broccolini, both of which i love, so it was great. my big complaint with italian places is that that pasta is sometimes too salty. this was not that salty and pretty yummy! would come back to try the tiramisu
Pasta was pretty good as well as the tiramisu. Besides that it was fairly average and very expensive. Place is very cute!
Came for restaurant week and it was so delicious! I was in between getting the rigatoni or gramigna and ultimately I decided to get the gramigna since my SIL was going to get the rigatoni anyways. That way, we could try both. I'm so happy I did. I really liked the pasta that they used, the texture was really nice. The flavor of the sausage was also really good. The rigatoni was also delicious, can never go wrong with such a classic pasta dish. My SIL said she would come back for the rigatoni and that's a good sign bc she loves Italian food! Meatballs & little gem Caesar were the perfect starters. I like how the meatballs came w bread bc you can dip it in the sauce. Sooooo flavorful!!! The lettuce in the salad weren't cut up into small pieces and surprisingly, I actually liked it like that! Of course had to order a side of fries and they were perfectly seasoned and shaped just the way I like (I love when my fries are skinny and crispy) Cannolis were okay. Not usually a fan of them Overall, very delicious food. And I would come back! My waiter was really nice as well and the food came out in a timely manner

I was told to come here and try the Riggatoni and it was a GREAT recommendation. You can also have them add burrata on top, so that's a no brained. We got the cacio e Pepe fritters as an appetizer and they were also delicious. Not too hard to get a reservation either. read more

I can't say enough great things about this place. My sister and I was shopping in soho and randomly came across this place and decided it was time for a lunch break. The aesthetics of the place were bright, clean and super cute vibes. It was a quiet Tuesday afternoon. The staff were super nice and friendly ! We asked for recommendations for drinks and food and they did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection and truffle fries were good as always, anything with truffle is undeniably chefs kiss. The rigatoni surprised me the most. I was hesitant to order it bc I didn't want anything too heavy but it wasn't what I thought in the least. It was cooked to perfection. The pasta wasn't heavy on the sauce which Is how I prefer my pasta and burrata complimented the dish so well. The lavender spirtz was also tasty. I ordered a second one bc I enjoyed it so much. This has been my 3rd time coming here within the last 2 months and I have loved it more every single time! I came here for brunch for the first time and the brunch menu was perfect because they still offered their entire regular menu as well. I came here with my girlfriend and cousin and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. We began by all getting drinks: mimosa, lavender spritz, and aperol spritz! To start, we ordered the famous Zucchini "Fries" which were to die for, it came with some cold marinara sauce. For the main meal, we got the Brioche French Toast, Rigatoni, Cacio E Pepe Eggs Benedict, and breakfast potato. The French toast was one of the best I have ever had anywhere before. This place was an absolute hit with all my friends! The atmosphere is perfect for a date night, evening with friends, or I even saw some families dining! The interior design was very impressive with mood lighting and expert color palette. The rigatoni was cooked to a perfect al dente! I ordered it with burrata not realizing it already came with little pillows of the soft cheese. We also liked the zucchini fries which were more like fried slices of zucchini! Hosts were not that welcoming and bathroom was so dirty. Also, the host asked if we had a reservation with an unpleasant look and there was only one table seated in the entire restaurant... thought that was funny. Also waiters seemed to be annoyed when we just wanted water & no cocktails.. food was okay, the fries were the best, pasta was extremely oily..I got a terrible stomachache afterwards. Not sure if I will be going back. I don't give less stars because I don't want to ruin anyones rating, just wanted to bring awareness. read more
La Pecora Bianca is such a cute restaurant i stumbled into while in midtown across the street from Bryant Park - we had a french 75 to drink and built up an appetite to try the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe and the Whipped Ricotta - OMG wow some of the best food i've had! Perhaps we just had bad luck with the pasta but 2/3 of our pasta dishes were incredibly salty and difficult to finish. The spaghetti and tagliatelle dishes were incredibly salty but the rigatoni dish was delicious. We also ordered the zucchini fries which was probably our favorite thing that we got. It was light and had great texture and I enjoyed the balance with the saltier Parmesan on top. The vibe and interior of La Pechora Bianca makes a nice spot to go on a date or to checkout with friends, I just wished my pasta wasn't so salty. read more
Unfortunately, like many restaurants, this place is a bit short staffed at the moment. Our server tried his best and I appreciate that, but do expect a little longer wait to get your food/check. The food, as always, was phenomenal but the drinks were extremely bland and common (even if they claimed to have fancy flavors) - definitely not worth the $15. Skip those and opt for more pasta instead. read more

I am shocked that I haven't been here up until this weekend... this may be one of my favorite Italian places now! The ambiance is so cute. I love how they keep the doors wide open and the sage green accents everywhere. The bread was so good, it is warm & already prebuttered. Our apps were zucchini fries (unreal), cacio e pepe fritters, and burrata. We were with a big group so we got lots of types of pasta. Every single one didn't miss. The gramigna, gargenelli, tagliatelle, spaghetti, (with or without burrata). The portion sizes were perfect too. I will be coming back here soon!!! read more

All right I've been traveling a lot and I'm not even sure where this place was crazy right it's probably a month and a half ago I think it was in New York City and the food was really good... We definitely New York City and everything was absolutely delicious, don't really remember when I have but I do know I enjoyed it and my group of six had a wonderful time:-) read more

This place is so cute!! The hosts, servers, and ambience is awesome! The food was amazing and the portions are just perfect! The whipped ricotta was my favorite! This experience was truly 10/10. We made a reservation for midday, and were seated on time. Initially we were seated in the back by the kitchen, but we asked to be moved more towards the front, and they happily let us move! The staff was so nice and accommodating, very patient, not pushy at all, gave excellent recommendations, and were all around extremely helpful. The food. Wow. My friend and I looked at each other at least every 5 minutes and kept saying, "everything is SO good". Truly, no complaints about anything we ordered. We went at brunch time, so we split the rigatoni, egg sandwich, herb French fries, and both ordered a glass of red wine. The fries were incredible and cooked/seasoned perfectly. The egg sandwich was amazing, it had a nice little sauce and it comes with prosciutto (I'm a vegetarian, so they let us get that on the side), and my friend who, as a rule, doesn't tend to like prosciutto said it was amazing (so that's how you know it was good). The sandwich also came with a little side of arugula salad, and the vinaigrette on that was great as well. The rigatoni was incredible as well, I've been in such a pasta mood lately, and this absolutely hit the spot! They have an option to add burrata on the pasta, so I know exactly what I'm ordering next time! The inside was so cute, such a fun vibe - if it had been nice out I would have loved to sit outside, but there's always next time, and there will absolutely be a next time. I can't believe I waited so long to try this spot. I can already tell that this will be a go to spot for me from now on. read more
We came here for a early dinner and it was a very cute and fun experience. I love the ambiance of this place and I also love the open layout. I got the rigatoni and it was super delicious and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I asked if I could get chicken added to it but it came on the side which I thought was a little weird. La Pecora Bianca is a nice Italian restaurant that is a good medium between causal and fancy. There are a lot of tables both indoor and outdoor. I ordered the tagliatelle which took longer to come out than I expected. The pasta had a nice texture and was able to pick up the sauce very well, the sauce was flavorful but erred slightly on the salty side. Overall a delicious meal and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a moderately priced Italian meal. read more

I think this might be my favorite vodka sauce I've found so far in NYC. This place is a staple for a date night or night out with friends! The vibes inside are always fun and high energy, plus the staff are so friendly (our table was not ready for our reservation when we showed up so the manager set us up at the bar with heavy pours of rose while we waited)!!
