I have been wanting to try this place due to the great things that u have heard about the food,I finally decided to give it a go and try it,I had it @ a friends house we decided to pick it up,I must say the food was delicious!!! Not to long ago after trying this place and I must say the food was delicious better then most Italian places that are local!! However after that my husband and I wanted take out Italian so I had suggested this place,the reason for the 3 stars is because we had ordered about $70 in food dinners and appetizers,the price was not the issue,I called to order and I specifically asked the girl on the phone to repeat my order 2x which she did,my husband got home and there were no salads and bread to go with dinners,I had even checked the menu to see what the diners came with,they usually come with bread and salad which it was supposed to!! Solid place. Good for lunch or a quick dinner. The one dish I love and must order when I go there is the Calamari Arrabbiata. It has great flavor, and the right amount of spice. I always ask for a side of blue cheese to dip into. They bring out a gravy boat of blue cheese and it makes a great dish. read more

Went back here tonight for a quick dinner for four. Arrived at around 8:20 and was seated right away. A plus, but surprising as I remember the place being busier. Our waiter Lenny who obviously loves his job was a pleasure. The little hollow bread "pillows" are amazing. We ordered fried calamari to start which was a disappointingly small portion, but the fra-diavlo sauce was good. I had the pecan salad and a margarita bar pizza. Both were wonderful. My wife had the chicken marsala. My son and his girlfriend had a steak salad and chicken Francese. Apart from some beverage issues at the beginning of our meal we all enjoyed it very much. read more

It's like your parents say sometimes you get what you pay for. In this case it's true, you pay a bit more per specialty slice here but yumm is it good. My personal favorite is the chicken marsala. LaPiazza Merrick N.Y. Is a good place but, they nickel and dime you to death. I was going to order a pie for a friend and they wanted quarter mushroom and quarter pepperoni. Now it says half pizza topping $2.75 so I was not pleasantly surprised when it was more than it should be. I asked why is it so much. They said it was two toppings. I said yes but on one half of the pie. It's $2.75 for half a pizza. I asked to talk to the manager on 2-22-19 at around 2:30-2:45. He proceeds to tell me and I quote. "the work is more tedious". This is NOT acceptable This guy ain't moving a chair he's putting toppings on a pizza. An extra full charge for quarter topping..... um hell no.
