Overall we all really enjoyed our food and drinks here. We tried the ceviche (delicious), sashimi, Caesar salad (a must), shrimp and tuna steak. Also had the tamarind margarita which was great! I loved the vibe when we walked in, but they put us in a back room that wasn't quite the aesthetic as the front. Mix of hanging real and fake plants and a huge tv on the wall playing music from the Pokémon Movie soundtrack. Our waiter was over the top friendly, really trying to push items on us. We tipped a 23% tip, but his demeanor completely changed after we paid. Barely said a word to us and when we were walking out and said another "thank you", he just barely smiled; no words. That was what put a sour taste in our mouth about the experience. I will try again and hope for a better experience next time.
La comida está riquísima y el servicio está de lo máximo. Comimos pizza y papas fritas. Sus aderezos también muy ricos. El ambiente estuvo muy bonito para un Martes.
Hello or Hola everyone In 2024 I visited Cabo San Lucas in November there were so many restaurants. I felt my head spinning. I was scrolling down Yelp and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Do not be fooled by the beautiful exterior of the adobe thick walls and the bell which captures a slight history between Spain conquering Mexico. The interior or dining room was spacious displaying the sense of being inside of a Mexican home with a slight modern twist. When you enter you are welcomed by the open kitchen as well as chairs to sit and dine in front. The staff were similar to being a family all were friendly and emphasized the word of love in serving and cooking dishes. Food made and served from the heart is always delicious. I went there twice.
The food and service are amazing! We shared the octopus and ceviche de tun plus amazing beer and cocktails. Eliacid gave us phenomenal recommendations from beer to food and all of it was delicious! We have to come back to do shots and bang the drum behind the bar!!
On the main strip but worth the walk or drive. Same owners as the office but off the beach. The food was awesome and the service was amazing. I've been a Michelin star restaurant and the service was better here. We started with a tuna sashimi starter. Delicious. We then had a pizza (which is better than most places in SoCal) with el pastor chicken and pineapple. I'd get it again We had the red snapper baked with garlic to finish off our massive lunch. All worth it. A few specialty drinks and it was perfect. We are going back to try more food.
When you come to Cabo often you alway look for something different, some other place to eat, a place where you can have something other then Mexican food. Well look no further. After eating at all the usual places I was told about La Pintada it was a breath of fresh air. The chicken and fig salad was amazing and the tortilla soup was probably the best I've ever had in Cabo. The service was top notch... very attentive. Their drink menu is all authentic specialty drinks and super yummy with fresh fruit. This is a complete hidden gem right on the main drag of Cabo. This is a 4.8 out of 5. La Pintada is not inexpensive but well worth it. Must go and try!!!
This place was PHENOMENAL! We had gotten the recommendation to come here from the pool server we had at our resort. We had told him we hadn't really had anything that "wow'd" us while we were her and he suggested here. They are part of a chain of other well known restaurants in the area, one of which was Edith's(which was also recommended by a fellow flight passenger, but we were unable to get a reservation during our short visit). You are greeted by someone outside to which they open the door for you. Welcome air conditioning! I'm not sure what my problem was during our trip but I thought I was going to self combust from the heat so any and all air conditioning situations we encountered were very well received! Ambiance is lovely, it's a mix of a few styles and nicely done. Our server Eliacid was very welcoming and gave us several recommendations in addition to showing us the tray that contained the visual examples of what was available. We had drank all day at the pool so we were wanted non-alcoholic and opted for the Candelaria drink-mango, passion fruit, mineral water, agave, and ice. Delicious!! The absolute perfect amount of sweetness and my favorite, bubbles. We didn't get any apps as we had a late lunch so we just ordered our entrees. The man ordered his Arrachera, and I got the Fish Tacos. Now here's where I was like "Say what?". These fish tacos where sea bass tacos. Yes people, sea bass! These babies were by far THE BEST fish tacos I have ever had. My husband was really tripping that I said that because I just don't Willy nilly the title of BEST like that. I had taken a picture of them but in my excitement of just the presentation, which in and of itself was excellent. Three tacos are served on a wooden board with three little baby mugs that contain, limes, pico, or a cabbage slaw(undressed). The tacos come topped with hierbabuena, cherry tomatoes, arugula, cream, guacamole, and salsa. Oh but wait, they are done on homemade flour tortillas, Lordy take the wheel. I'm not usually a fan of flour, except for quesadillas but this culmination of ingredients were freaking MAGIC! Hubs thought his steak was fantastic also. It came served on a layer of green sauce, a grilled nopal, the steak, and topped of with a quesadilla. That one I got a picture of -major eye roll here. Served with a side of beans and pico. We were told that the corn tamal for dessert was out of this world but sadly I was so stuffed I could not eat anything else. We will absolutely be back here the next time we come and will be our first recommendation to our friends on where to dine! Thank you Pintada!
I am so bummed to not be giving this a better review! I was super excited to dine here for lunch. We arrived a few minutes after they opened on a Wednesday. We were thrilled to see oysters on the appetizer menu and excited to try some new beers. We ordered the oysters and were told they didn't have any. Then we ordered beer and he said they were out of every beer except two. Bummer to go to a brewery with not many beer options. The food was really good but it's overpriced. The service was very friendly. Just overall bummed out about menu options not being available. It was quiet and only a couple other tables while we were there. Overall, wouldn't really recommend.

Had to come back and do a double take... Just as good as first time. The service is friendly and helpful while not intrusive. The food is fresh with big flavor. Ask for what you want... Tonight we wanted to try some bigger flavor and they did not disappoint. The variety is huge from octopus to prime rib tacos. Great place to take it easy while enjoying food and friends. read more

Being beer lovers from Seattle we found this place in our hunt for decent beer in Cabo few years ago. Last night we sat at the bar for IPAs and dinner. The decor here is fantastic with bright red taps, slab wood table tops, and high ceiling that features wine bottles. The service is great. Full bar with hand crafted cocktails but we love the beer. I had a juicy grilled burger and hubby had the lamb that was mild and tender. If you are looking for really good beer and excellent food it's worth finding this place! read more

It is with great disappointment that I write this review. We have visited La Pintada each year for over 10 years and it was always one of our favorite restaurants. We dined there on 9/20/22 and ordered the Red Snapper "Hualchinango" and received a beautiful plate full of fish (approximately 3/4 of a pound of fish) for 635 pesos (about $32). Three days later, 9/23/22, we return to La Pintada and ordered the same Red Snapper plate - however, our server tells us that it will cost us 1200 pesos (about $60), not the price on the menu - because it is approximately twice as large of fish (instead of 500g, 950g). We agree, thinking that it will be twice the fish of our last order, ... it arrives and it is exactly the same size as the previous order. Now, looking at the two receipts, I find that they overcharged us for the first fish entree. We were charged 884 pesos on 9/20/22 (about $44) instead of menu price of 635 pesos (about $32). Highly disappointed as for years, this was one of our favorite restaurants in Cabo. read more
We had lunch here with a few friends and I must say the service and food was absolutely amazing!!!!! I will definitely return when I visit Cabo again! If you are looking for delicious food, an awesome variety of beer and excellent customer service then you location is a must visit!!!!! read more

After a day in the hot sun at the beautiful Lover's Beach we were looking for a place to eat and try some of the local craft beer. We were directed to this place by one of the locals. He didn't steer us wrong! Our waiter Robert was very attentive. For Mexico, where the traditional beers are Corona or Pacifico, this place had a good variety to choose from. My husband came for the beer, I came for the food and I wasn't disappointed. The complimentary homemade bread and chimichuri sauce was amazing!! Oregano, olives and tomato baked into the bread. Yum!!! We only wanted a snack so we ordered the piglet tostaditas...which were full of flavor and delicious. We will definitely be back! Give this place a try. read more

This place is amazing! It is a sister restaurant of Edith's in Cabo which is excellent so I knew it would be good. The service was excellent, Efrain was our main server and of course Roberto the manager, top notch! The oysters are to die for, the red snapper is wonderful, you can get it prepared four ways, The Seabass of course is always good and the steak was amazing. And of course don't forget dessert. Each of us ordered something different and it was all spectacular! I would highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to visit again when I come back in a couple months. read more

Excellent food and beer. We had the Peruvian ceviche (made with the catch of the day, Sea Bass), Tuna Tartar, a Greek salad and beer. Our meal was delicious, as always. Wednesdays are 2x1 beers-- no restrictions. They poured my husband's second one in a to go cup. read more

La Pintada came as a pleasant surprise for me. It wasn't a place I researched weeks prior and had on my list...in fact, we walked by it and it had such a cool looking exterior that I had to yelp it and learn more. I was so glad we discovered this place! The ambiance was very cool, glass bottles as a skylight technique on the ceiling and painted animal skulls. We got there and it was 2 for 1 of their beers (they are a brewery) - enjoying an Oatmeal Stout, Porter and I believe my hubby had a Dubbel. They started us off with a nice pesto and bread and a chicken mole tostada - delicious! We ordered a special they had with the freshest seafood - caught that day! It had half an octopus, fresh fish (sorry, can't remember which one) and shrimp. It came with a potato and some veggies. After that and the beer we were pretty full but they brought us the most beautiful dessert bite - I think it was a date rolled in coconut but it was on the cutest little serving...chair?! All in all I wish we had gone back, we loved it here and felt right at home! read more

An unexpected surprise in Los Cabos, for this brewery junkie. We saw the sign that read "BREWERY" as we came into town to our hotel. It appeared to be closed but was actually open. The upstairs is closed during the off season. The brewery is called Ramuri and is located inside La Pintada. They actually brew the beer onsite and offer a various assortment for almost every pallet. They gave us several samplers to decide what we wanted. I was pleasantly surprised they had an IPA and a black IPA. I had two IPAs and my wife had the Diablo Blanco which only came in bottles but was offered as a 2x1 special. They bring out bread and some olive oil, very tasty. We decided to have lunch and tried the carpaccio de pulpo (octopus) appetizer to start. This was the best octopus I have had in North America! We also ordered a pizza w half Ramuri and half Pollo al Pastor. They were both fantastic. The pizza is a thin crust with excellent flavor. The ingredients were all fresh and tasted great! When we finished our meal they brought out a small chair with two small dessert samples, this was delightful. The price was a bit on the high side but expected for locally brewed craft beer and good food. We paid 58.45 for a pizza, appetizer, 4 beers and a bottle of water. The service was very prompt and waiters were quick to clear our plates when we were done. Awesome place I would definitely visit again. read more
