Meh, was planning to finally visit Pizzeria Bianco, got there and it was closed, the paper sign in the door did not say why and suggested visiting pane Bianco. The pizza was uninspiring, not many choices three either. But it's a large pie.

I loved Pizzeria Bianco that I couldn't pass the opportunity to try Pane Bianco. It was a rather warm day so I unfortunately didn't get to try their soups like I initially wanted. I decided on two slices of their pizzas (a seasonal one and pepperoni) and a caesar salad. Let me tell you, I was VERY ambitious with their pizza, the slices were huge and could easily feed two people. I ate half of each, really tasty and baked to perfection. The caesar salad was also huge and their croutons were my fav, packed with tons of flavor and very crunchy. The servers were very nice and friendly, I had no problem dining there solo. Ambiance is nice and I'd happily take my coworkers here next time.

Great lunch spot at Row DTLA. Large space with communal tables. They sell Bianco's pizza by the slice and huge sandwiches. Slices were delicious, particularly the red slice. Loved the sauce and the crust! Grabbed their new burrata and prosciutto sandwich, which was delicious and came with amazing pickled vegetables on the side. This sandwich can easily feed 2 people. My only gripe is that the sandwich was very cold. I had even asked if the sandwiches were warm and the cashier said it would be toasted warm bread with the cold fillings. Nope, got fully cold bread, as if the whole sandwich was premade and fridged. While the sandwich was still good, I would've enjoyed it more if warm.

This pizza/sandwich spot in the Row in DTLA is hopping! We went for a slightly late lunch on a Saturday and paid heed to the sandwich board out front that mentioned it's faster to order online so we proceeded to do so and learned that the wait time was about 30 minutes. The super casual spot was filled both inside and outside and is worth the wait as the pizza comes out heated up. I really enjoyed the special slice that had Procuitto and onions along with a slice of the green pizza. The Caesar salad was good with fresh croutons and had a more green goddess like dressing.

Fast casual pizza with the same taste and quality of their sit down restaurant pizza. Bianco does the New York style pizza justice. I have tried every flavor they offer and they all taste great but I always turn back to that red slice. The flavor and quality never fails. Service was excellent despite mostly having to serve yourself. The staff do their best to make sure that you are still feeling comfortable and enjoying your meal! I just wished that I lived closer to Chris Bianco's restaurants. I was a non believer in pizza. I never craved pizza and I never suggested pizza when friends or family asked me what I wanted to eat. It all changed when my husband took me to try Bianco's pizza!

I typically just get the pizza and today I decided to try something new. BIG MISTAKE. I did not like it all all. I also didn't understand the cauliflower as a side either. It's a cute space and the staff is very nice but this was not it

I work nearby every couple of months, and now make it a point to stop in. My coworker highly recommended this place, and after two visits, I can definitely see why it's considered to have some of the best pizza in the world. I've grabbed pizza slices to go, and they make the perfect dinner later. The "Green Slice" was absolutely delicious, and I've also had two of their special slices, which were equally amazing. The crust is perfect - crispy, flavorful, and just the right flavor and quality. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely be picking up some of their baguettes, as my coworker swears by them. Can't wait to try more from their menu! Pane Bianca never disappoints - a must-visit spot if you're in the area!

This is such a smart concept; get Pizzeria Bianco pizza without having to go through the sit-down option and get pizza by the slice. It's genius and I hope they keep expanding because their pizza is really delicious. We've been to Pizzeria Bianco many times and it has never disappointed. We decided to try Pane Bianco because it was more chill and easy to grab slices, eat and go. We were not disappointed. The pizza is just as good and comes out quick. Come for a quick bite, but still enjoy the massive amount of flavor.

I ordered two burrata & prosciutto sandwiches for takeout. When I went back to pick up my order, they had given my order to someone else and told me that one sandwich was ready but the other one they had to remake. That's fine, things happen and it was all good up to that point. However, when I got home, one of the sandwiches was missing burrata cheese lol for $19, I expected better. I tried calling the store to let them know what had happened but unfortunately no one picked up.

We stopped by Row DTLA to go to the MAUM Market and grabbed a quick bite at Pane Bianco after shopping and I'm so glad we did. I got the salami slice, and let me just say, I'm still dreaming about it!! Perfectly cooked, no flop even with a one-hand fold hold (is that even what it's called??), and absolutely delicious. I already want another slice, even though my New Year's resolution is to eat healthier (oops). My husband got the Italian sandwich and loved it. I'm usually not a fan of raw onions, but they totally worked in the bite I stole from him! The interior hasn't changed much since its Manufactory/Tartine days, with plenty of seating both inside and out. And as always at The Row, parking is a breeze. Can't wait to come back!

    Katie S.

So glad this slice shop exists, I love love pizza but absolutely do not like to wait for table. I also lovecasual dining ordering at the counter for quicker service. I'm vegetarian, the green slice was my favorite. Lemon rosemary was a bit too lemony for my taste but others loved it. The inside is really spacious with cute decor and some kitchen items and books for sale. Definitely look forward to coming back!

A nice small place in cozy DTLA. The onigiri was fresh and perfectly seasoned. It's had extra crisp Ines which made it that much more savory. The sandwich was juicy and tender with crisp veggies. Service was fast and delivered to your table. I was impressed considering there's market and the place seemed busy. Only waited less than 10 mins for my food and it still came out warm and fresh.

I'm not much into sandwiches unless it's really good. The last great sandwich I had was from Heroic Italian which closed down a while back. I was watching an IG post of Pane Bianco's roast beef sandwich and it was on my bucket list to try. I'm not a big roast beef fan but the ingredients on this sandwich look great. Just like how it looked on IG is how good it was. The roast beef is slow roasted and topped with fermented frenso butter, pickled banana peppers with a spread of calcots (green) onion aioli.. Just like the crust on Chris Bianco's pizza, the house made bread, baguette, is freshly made with a soft interior and slight crunch exterior. The assortment of pickles are delicious and appear to be house made. Forget chips, these pickles are great enough. Just the smell of the bread lures you into this sandwich shop which is a separate location from Pizzeria Bianco in the same ROW DTLA venue. The menu here is a bit different from their sister, Pizzeria Bianco. This location has sandwiches. The location doesn't have but has appetizers. Both locations have their infamous pizza but different types. Sandwiches are a must if you're a sandwich lover. Parking is no issue with a 7+ story parking structure and from what I recall, 90 min parking (I could be wrong).

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

Initially we were going to…read moretry De La Nonna, but they were closed for a special event and we didn't know when we showed up. In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult.
